If you or your partner is active military, a veteran, or a first responder, Sandals (and Beaches) gives you 10% off any booking on top of every other promo. The discount has been part of the Sandals heroes program since 2017 and is one of the easiest discounts to claim. Here is exactly how it works in 2026.

How much is the discount?

10% off the resort portion of the booking. Airfare, transfers, excursions, and tips are all excluded. On a $5,000 Sandals trip, that is a $500 discount. On a $10,000 Beaches family trip, that is a $1,000 discount. The discount applies to base rate plus seasonal upgrades but not to add-on packages (private candlelight dinners, spa add-ons, etc.).

How to verify your military or first-responder status

Sandals uses GovX or ID.me for verification. The flow: create a free account at GovX.com or ID.me, upload your military ID, veteran proof (DD-214), or first responder credentials. Verification typically takes under 24 hours. GovX issues you a one-time discount code that you apply at checkout on Sandals.com or send to your travel agent.
