Delvine was my spa Goddess at the resort. She gave me the most wonderful massage and facial. We talked and I felt like she was an old friend by the time I left. I had twisted my ankle the night before and she even did a special treatment on my ankle to help with the swelling. I highly recommend her for any spa treatment you are seeking.

This is my first Sandals to vacation at and it will not be my last!! My stay was in a Rondoval with Butler service and now I'm so spoiled I won't go without one!! Everyone here is friendly and always has a genuine smile for you. This place has set the bar high for my next vacation! The Butler service is amazing!! We had Shaniece and Jamoy..they went above and beyond to make sure we had what we asked for and for me..( ice tea)..in my room fridge. That is just an example of they're hard work!! My next visit ,I will certainly request them again!!! As for any complaints, I have 1. While on the beach,on the last day, I was smoking a cigarette and was approached by the "Guest relations manager" and was told no smoking allowed on the beach..I immediately put it out and I responded by saying that there is no sign stating no smoking..and I want to add..people on both sides of where we were , were smoking as well but nothing was said to them. His approach was cold and brush asking quick questions as if we didn't belong there. I felt as though I needed to leave the beach as soon as possible but I didn't! If no smoking is wanted then a sign(s) should be put up and his approach needs an overhauled!! All together...5/5 stars!!

From the first time you step foot on this resort you are met with love, joy and friendship. We have been to this resort roughly 25-30 times. This isn't counting the other Sandal resorts we have been too, but this one the most. From Obrien and Alicia and all there staff they go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of the guests. The grounds and the facilities are kept pristine daily. You will see both Obrien and Alicia walking around and constantly straightening things up and picking up and cleaning things themselves. They both take immense pride in what they do. As for the remaining staff, Anthony Drummond has a crew that has learned from the best. From tending bar to interacting with the guests and just all around a great vibe they give off makes it a pleasure to see them everyday. And for keeping things straight and tidy at the main pool, Erroll is phenomenal! He exemplifies the Jamaican culture and knows and remembers everybody he comes in contact with. He truly is an asset to this property. Careca at Giuseppe's was straight over the top with his style, smile and interactions while we dined. A lot of servers could learn some things from Careca. Lorenzo at the Neptune's bar keeps you going with his style and engaging personality. If you can't get along with Lorenzo, you need to take a long walk off a short pier. Dennis at the Martini Bar is an asset with his love and kindness and jokes while engaging with you. He can make your night a memorable one. And talk about a dynamic duo, Willis and Dennis at the Main pool swim up bar is like watching a precision dance of mixology, humor, pleasure, engagement and passion for not only what they do, but also what they do for the guests. The love for the guests while tirelessly staying on top of what they are doing even though it is very hot, but keeping a smile, charm and precision is amazing. Renae at Jasmine's was spot on with everything, can't say enough here on that, simply perfect. And the Taco Truck and Chicken Dippers couldn't be any better than they are. I'm still salivating from the many tastes and spices and amazing flavors, WOW! Alicia the Hotel Manager is truly an asset for Obrien. She not only is the Hotel Manager, but I really think she is the Undercover Boss! Her stature and composure and also the respect you see that she get's from the staff at the resort is a testament of the respect they have for her and her work ethics. I really can't say enough good things about this resort, it's paradise!

Amazing! We came here for our Babymoon and couldn’t be happier! We stayed in the IB1 which is a butler suite and were paired with the most amazing butlers! Ainsley and Devaughn! If you are getting a butler I highly recommend you request them! They are everything you could wish for in butlers! We were greeted in a beautifully decorated room and I even had a pregnancy pillow waiting for me! They made sure we were stocked with not only alcoholic drinks for my husband but non alcoholic for me! They also kept me happy with so many wonderful snacks and daily surprises in the room and at our beach chairs and a cart for me if needed!!! Words seriously can’t describe how blown away we have been with their service!!! They are the gold standard for butlers at sandals!!! Along with them every restaurant was super accommodating as well and all had great food! I also was so happy with how clean the grounds were and how often they cleaned our room. Also had so much fun at the beach party they did for the 4th of July they had so much food and amazing entertainment for us! This was our 10th trip to sandals and one of the best!!! Sexy South Coast is definitely one of the best!!!

South Coast is a spacious resort, with beautiful grounds. The staff, as always in a Sandals resort, is friendly and eager to help. A special thank you to Chef Clarence for coordinating our meals to accommodate my food allergy. Every meal was delectable. I was able to eat dishes made to order for me so that I could enjoy the full range of the cuisine at South Coast. Our two butlers, Ainsley and DeVaughn, worked seamlessly as a team to keep Chef Clarence aware of where we were eating, and which dishes we wanted to try.

So since corp has turned a blind eye to our complaint and our begging for some sort of compensation for their incredibly mishandling and miscommunication of our stay back in June I am taking to this page: My wife and I scrimped and saved for four years to have the trip of a lifetime at sandals Negril …swim out suite with a butler That’s where the dream went sideways and continues to leave a sour expensive taste in our mouths… I wrote sandals a letter weeks ago and keep getting told they are looking into it but that they gave us a free massage and that should cover it: I am writing to express deep frustration, profound disappointment, and emotional distress following what should have been a long-awaited and joyous vacation at Sandals Negril from June 10–18, 2025. For over a decade, my wife and I dreamed of experiencing the magic of a Sandals vacation. As hardworking individuals, we long aspired to a stay at one of your resorts, believing your brand stood for luxury, quality, and care. After surviving a traumatic car accident last year—where a reckless driver nearly ended our lives—we resolved to mark my wife’s 50th birthday and our emotional recovery by finally realizing this dream. We spent over $(redacted) USD—our savings—to make this experience as special and healing as possible. What we received in return was not just disappointing; it was deeply hurtful and, in many ways, humiliating. ________________________________ From Dream to Disappointment After arriving in Jamaica and being warmly greeted by our Club Mobay and Island Routes transfer driver, we were initially optimistic. However, the condition of our butler swim-out suite quickly revealed an alarming level of neglect:  *   Severe mold and water damage from a leaking air conditioner  *   Bubbling and crumbling walls, visible mildew, and potential health hazards  *   Broken furniture and cabinetry, a non-functional bathroom door, and a damaged exhaust fan  *   Constant noise from a squeaky door used by butlers just outside our room This was not a minor maintenance issue—it was a blatant disregard for health and safety, and a complete failure of your quality assurance standards. We reported the problem and were offered a new room—one that had the exact same water damage, and was located next to a smoking area (despite known allergies). When we declined, the solution offered was to paint over the mold and suggest everything was “fine.” ________________________________ A Pattern of Neglect and Disrespect From that point forward, the experience spiraled:  *   Our concerns were met with empty reassurances and repeated missteps.  *   Our second room, which we were forcibly moved into without consent or apology, was also substandard:     *   Peeling wallpaper, broken light switches, an unsafe shower fixture, and malfunctioning ceiling fans     *   Fan remotes that controlled other guests' rooms and vice versa—according to your own maintenance staff  *   We were told by our travel agent that we were originally promised a two-level butler suite—a promise clearly broken without explanation All the while, management appeared repeatedly—not to resolve the situation, but to offer insincere apologies, a fruit plate, and a bottle of champagne we could not enjoy. This vacation became a series of interruptions, stress, and embarrassment, with little time left to relax or reconnect. Even when we asked not to be disturbed further, our privacy was invaded yet again—during a personal moment on our patio. The resort staff continued showing up uninvited with notes and vague offers of “making things right,” which by that point only deepened our disappointment. ________________________________ This Was Not Just a Bad Stay—It Was a Personal Loss We are not demanding guests. We are respectful, quiet people who rarely complain. But this trip was supposed to be about healing, recovery, and joy. Instead, we spent much of it avoiding our room, managing problems, and feeling unheard. To say this experience was heartbreaking is not an exaggeration. It has left us with a bitter memory where a beautiful one should have been. We entrusted you with something deeply important to us, and you failed—repeatedly and without meaningful accountability.

We spent an amazing week at Sandals Negril in a beachfront Club luxe room. The room had recently undergone a sandals 2.0 soft furnishing update, meaning the room was gorgeous and fresh. The resort is beautiful with pristine beaches, buzzing pools, lots of water sports and the restaurants and bars were top notch. It was great that you can also dine at their beaches resort 5 minutes away, however it was disappointing you had to pay for this. At other sandals we have had free transfer. Their new restaurant Brave was faultless, and absolutely a favourite for us, but we also loved Sundowner and Perla for their yummy Jamaican patties and fantastic staff. Our favourite part of this whole trip were the staff, every person we spoke with was friendly and incredibly kind. From Orlando our amazing Beach cabana butler to Chris at the piano bar, we were always greeted with a smile and genuine conversation. Now the beach cabana were amazing, they were recently refurbished and we were in for a treat. We saw baby fish, pelicans and stingrays. Orlando was phenomenal, constantly topping up our drinks and pointing out all the sea life, not to mention his great banter too. We enjoyed it so much we booked a second day later in our stay.

I am late with my review of this beautiful resort Sandals Regency La Toc, but wish to express my experience here that I had with my husband last March. First of all this resort lies on a hilly spacious and beautiful property. The rooms are spread out but we decided on a room at the main part of the resort, looking over the pool and beach area. we had a beautiful room, with tranquil tub on our balcony, and just loved it. The first night we were not happy with the location of the room, being close to the restaurant fan and noise. The next day we went to the reception, where we were helpt with no problem to change our room to a different location, and it was perfect! there was no problem and the staff that worked there we got to know easily and they were all so helpful and friendly. Hats off to Kellyann, Eva, en Kimma, and the rest of the girls who names I didn't get. Restaurant choice was great and the drive service to take us up the hill to some of them was pleasant, always a pick up and drop off available. we loved the fish restaurant by the sea, and ate there many times also for lunch. We thought all the restaurants were excellent, and great service also. We had a great time with your evening entertainment, which was excellent, and loved dancing the night away many times. The lovely bay area that the hotel faces is really nice, and very pleasant to be in front of while enjoying our room balcony and at night when sleeping hearing the sound of crashing waves. Not to forget the pool area where we felt very spoiled........each day we had a terrific young lady helping us for drinks ect, she was so wonderful and so sweet, we had heard from her that she was doing her apprenticeship there for 3 months, after the 3 months she would maybe get her job at La Toc if she did well. Well I sure hope that your management hired her, as she was very attentive, personal, and professional for her age, she told me her nickname was ( Pinky) , her name was Merlinda!!! and she loved calling me Cecelia, when we left there were some tears between us, she was lovely, I hope she found her job with you, as she was a fantastic young lady. All around the resort was very beautiful, although there could be some improvements here and there, some new paint, and some updating at the resort itself. We went to the grand which was superb, modern very nice, but huge! When we returned from a visit we enjoyed La Toc as it is just a bit more personal and has a stunning location. Thank you Sandles for making our stay so enjoyable, we loved it, and hope soon to reserve another vacation, in Feb / March 2026! Greetings from Cecelia and Fred Mathijssen ........The Netherlands

We stayed at the Sandals Barbados June 26th to July 3rd. We had a great time. The resort is right next to the Sandals Royal Barbados. This means that you have access to the facilities at both resorts. It’s a nice bonus. More options is a good thing to have. We stayed in a Beachfront Honeymoon Club Level Suite. It was nice. The view overlooked one of the pools and the beach. We would choose the same room again. One of the main reasons for us choosing Sandals resorts is that the scuba diving is included. So, they have beautifully maintained grounds, great beach, multiple pools, great selection of restaurants, multiple bars, great premium level cocktails, and great activities (both daytime and in the evenings). Oh, and the Sandals staff are nice people. Pretty much perfect. I highly recommend spending some time at the rooftop pool. It has a great view of the beach and the resort. We dove every day that we could, six out of our seven days. We really enjoyed the diving. The dive team, starting with my favorite, Melissa, were so nice and represented Sandals perfectly. Shout out to Jalissa too! Thanks to the boat Captains, Phillip and Paterson, dive Masters Seth, Robert, Mike, and Torrie. They all made our time under the water and on the boat safe and fun. They did a good at pointing out interesting sea life. As I noted, all the Sandals staff that we encountered are nice people. I do want to recognize some that made our time at Sandals extra special. Jack, the Manager at the Merry Monkey. Is an absolute gem. Alicia (Bartender), Adio (Hobie Cats), Charmaine (Spa), Krystal (Spa), and Melissa (Diving). Yes, I know I mentioned Melissa previously....And, of course, Bruno and Patrick.

So we arrived at around 4:00 pm. We were taken to the check in area. This is where several Sandals employees whispered back and forth. Then one person talked to the group while two other Sandals employees talked on the phone. So we really couldn’t hear or understand what she said. Eventually we were taken to our room. One person started the adventure with us and then another person finished as the original person never returned after taking another guest to their room. Since we had not eaten anything since 2:30am when we left for the airport we were hungry and thirsty. We found some descent food at the Jerk Shack. Setups were wrapped in a napkin similar to a piece of Scott’s one ply toilet paper. Headed to the bar for a vodka and grapefruit where we told at two different bars they were out of grapefruit juice. We ordered another drink and moved on. Next stop was a martini bar. Wife ordered a dirty martini. We were told they were out of olives and olive juice. Next day we stopped back in office and Were told we could book all of our reservations through their office. This would have been nice to know the day we arrived. We went to Jerk Shack to order nachos on day 2. We were told that is room service only. Went to room and ordered nachos. Were told 45 minutes. We went out on our patio to enjoy the sun and listen to music. After an hour we called to check on food. After calling room service several times, I finally got through. Was told they knocked on our door and since we didn’t answer they took our food back to kitchen. They said they called. We had no messages. They could not leave outside our door. We re-ordered. I’ll update on how the rest of our trip goes.

This was our first time to a Sandals resort and it was beautiful. Upon arrival at the airport - it was a lot of waiting around to get our transfer to the resort. Once we got to the resort - we were pleasantly greeted with towels and beautiful singing 🙂 We were led to check in and asked to upgrade our room with butler service. The process took over 2-1/2 hours which we didn’t understand. They kept telling us “it will be just a few more minutes” over and over again. The gentleman seemed new, but was very friendly, apologetic and even escorted us to our room. We then met our butler who was soo sweet and not only took our requests, but gave us a personal tour of the resort. Day one we spent at the larger pool of the Royal resort. It was gorgeous (no swim up bar), and was the “party” pool w/ a DJ at noon. It got a little too loud for us, so we went up to the 6th floor pool which was a view to die for. Not many chairs, but for whatever reason it wasn’t crowded. Nice bar, too. We spent the other three days at the Sandals Barbados pool. Much smaller and quiet. Meals were very good. Our first night was at the Shooner Seafood and it was so so, but the hibachi, steakhouse and Asian (Soy) were wonderful. Buffets were typical - nice for a quick bite and had a different theme each day. Our biggest disappointment was the butler service. We had three different butlers (based on the time of day) and service was hit or miss. We felt there were a lot of excuses (we can’t do this or that - when they were simple requests) and many times they would say they didn’t get the text message. The one girl had the day shift and all she did was save us pool chairs and drop off a menu. Never saw her again that day - and all she did was walk us to dinner on the last day. The other two were cheerful, but it just wasn’t worth the amount of money we spent. Upon departure - we were given a cab to the Hilton (we stayed an extra day off resort) and were completely taken advantage of by what we were charged. $35 for a 10 minute cab ride (our fault for not asking first, but we assumed Sandals wasn’t going to send us off without confirming). We didn’t know how much we were overcharged until after the fact when we looked up the government regulated fares on . It should have been $15-17 based on the 7 minute cab ride. Overall, it was a gorgeous resort and island. Just wish we made some different choices 🙂

The food and staff were fabulous. Our only complaint was the water. Contrary to our last trip there, at about the same time of year, the water was so rough that my wife did not get into the ocean. I am a good swimmer, but it was pretty rough for me to stay in very long. Obviously this was not Sandals fault. I have seen Facebook posts about both staff and food, that were not very complimentary, but for us - none of their complaints were valid. We had a great time. Weather every day was mid 80 degrees during the say and mid 70's at night. A few days with a little rain, but it didn't last very long.

This is our second visit to Royal Caribbean. This time we chose the butler room to experience what it was all about. Our dear friends joined us on this trip and we had the same butler team of Jerome and Kristoff. Jerome and Kristoff were well attentive with dinner reservations and escorting us to the restaurant. They provided a very nice covered spot on the beach for the four of us and the beverages we desired. They would surprise us with drinks and food on the beach as well as a pre-dinner cocktail. My husband and I are not the type of people who need a lot of attention but our friends, however, did utilize more of the services the butlers provided. Upon our return to Royal Caribbean it was nice to see some familiar faces we remembered from last visit. We would like to thank Glenroy for the wonderful breakfast and lunch buffet everyday and, of course, his charming personality. Thanks to Lamar for his outstanding service and pleasant demeanor at Spices. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful beach and the many swimming pools and the three hot tubs. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable and interactive at times. We visited the loyalty and travel office and booked another Sandals vacation. Thanks to Janessa for her expertise and patience in assisting us to find the perfect room for our next Sandals adventure. A special thanks to Kaye for joining our table at the welcome back dinner and for sharing her time with us. In addition the lovely farewell song Kaye and her team sang for us as we departed.

After seeing the glowing reviews and dreamy promotional images, I booked a stay at Sandals Royal with high hopes for a relaxing luxury getaway to celebrate my birthday. Instead, it turned out to be the worst travel experience of my life. We checked in on July 3rd and were so disappointed that we checked out the very next day. To start, we were never informed—either by Sandals agents or through any pre-arrival communication—that the majority of the property was under renovation. This lack of transparency felt incredibly deceptive and set the tone for a series of failures in service and experience. We paid a premium for a private “luxury” transfer, which was advertised as a high-end car experience. What we got was a dated BMW with two stale sandwiches and deviled eggs — hardly the start of a luxury vacation. Our dining experience on the first night was a disaster. At Bombay Dreams, we arrived at 6:50 PM and were told to return at 7:30 PM due to not having a reservation. When we returned at 7:28, we were completely ignored while other couples were seated. Only after flagging down the manager (Latoya) were we told—rudely—that we had no reservation, despite following her earlier instructions. We walked out. We then tried to eat at Spices, where we encountered more disorganization. Despite Tameka’s efforts to assist us, the service was extremely slow and inattentive. We waited over 20 minutes to be acknowledged, and no one offered us drinks during the wait. Basic hospitality was sorely lacking. We also had issues with the internet — which we paid extra for — and were unable to stream a single program properly due to connectivity issues. Thankfully, this was refunded, but again, not something we should’ve had to chase. On July 3rd, we called the front desk to confirm our departure transfer for the next day. We were told the “air desk” was closed and someone would follow up in the morning. No one did. At 7:30 AM, we had to go down in person and ended up arranging our own taxi. This level of neglect is simply unacceptable at a resort that markets itself as “all-inclusive luxury.” Although the front desk attendant was pleasant, the manager (Steve) only showed up as we were leaving — disinterested and with zero sense of urgency or responsibility. It felt like he was there just to be seen, not to actually help. Lastly, a small but telling note: can no one make a proper latte at Sandals? For a brand that boasts about its luxury, even the little things were consistently underwhelming. Where is the service and the high-end quality that their brand represents? This trip was supposed to be a special celebration. Instead, we left frustrated, disappointed, and desperate to get on the next flight out. For the price we paid, this was beyond unacceptable. Given the lack of transparency about the renovations, the failed private transfer, and the overall poor experience, I believe I’m entitled to a refund for the transfer and possibly partial compensation for the misrepresented conditions and subpar service. I will never return to Sandals, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this resort to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at Sandals Royal Caribbean at the end of May for 6 days and had SUCH a fantastic time. It was our first time at a Sandals and my husband’s first time in Jamaica. The grounds were stunning, the staff friendly and helpful, and you have a variety of options when choosing the rooms. I’d recommend going for the butler levels - they are WELL worth it! Special shout outs to our fantastic butlers Sherry Ann, Joslyn, and Kish for making our experience unforgettable. They helped with all our dinner reservations, reserved us spots on the beach, and made sure we were never without snacks or drinks. They also surprised us a few times with cute “extras” like a romantic al fresco bath on our private patio and having dessert set up in our room when we got back from dinner. We didn’t book anything ahead of time, but there were plenty of opportunities to do that while we were there. The Res Lane Spa is a MUST while you’re there - best massage I’ve ever had in my life! Note about proximity to the airport: We wanted to be close to the airport and have a quick shuttle ride, but the planes do fly directly overhead so please keep that in mind when booking if you think it will bother you - the planes only fly from about 10am to about 7pm so they don’t disrupt sleep and we didn’t mind it at all. Also puts you in close proximity to the other resort in Montego Bay which you can shuttle to at no extra cost. We pre-booked a stay at Royal Caribbean already for next year (different room) and can’t wait to be back.

When on vacation, my husband is usually the one who is ready to go home after a week but not this time!! He insisted we extend our stay a few more days, so we did! I am so glad we did because it made it even more spectacular! We would have stayed longer if it wasn’t for work and kids 😂😂😂 Thank u sandals for another great vacation in the books.

We had massages, mudbaths, private drive of the island, dinner on the beach for just the two of us and of course a beautiful view of the beach with a tub on our balcony. This was our first Sandals experience. We really enjoyed the all inclusive no kids atmosphere. It was so relaxing and chill. The breakfast buffet was really tasty with a lot of choices; probably the best french toast I've ever had. The dinners at the restaurants were pretty good. Ehat they called Southwestern and TexMex was neither but still good. We found out that we were pool people on this vacation. We went during the off-season so there was room at the very large pool even though we didn't get there till around 10am. There was pizza and hotdogs during the day for lunch. You could walk over, get a snack and go back to your pool lounger to eat it. During the week we were there, we did a couple excursions thru TripAdvisor. This was the one thing I didn't like about the resort offerings. The excursions were essentially the same as on TripAdvisor but they were 30% more expensive. The room was clean and the daily room services were very nice. I would absolutely take a Sandals vacation again.

We have had a wonderful time here. The weather has been lovely, the food really good and the staff excellent. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a butler room as our original room was part of the ongoing refurbishment project. Our butlers, Daryn, Shawn and Di were brilliant and we cannot thank them enough for their help. Additionally our housekeeper has been superb. Positives: Butlers Beach No seaweed Food - Kimonos was a treat and great entertainment Pools Staff Location Other slightly less positive bits: WiFi is patchy and slow unless you want to pay for the upgrade. In this day and age at a hotel of Sandals quality then I expect decent WiFi. The accommodation needs updating - they have started through the site but our room felt dated and tired.

My husband and I have been to 4 other Sandals and there are no words to explain what an all around great time we had at Antigua. 5 Stars from us! We chose the Mediterranean Village, and our room was really beautiful with a view that overlooked the ocean and the resort. The only disappointment, the Dive shop. We started going to Sandals for the Diving and was looking forward to diving Antigua. But for the first time we were not allowed to go because of the health form - Divers “fill it out before you go on vacation”! There wasn’t a lot of empathy or help from the staff & it could have ruined our trip, but everything else was so great, we decided make the best and enjoy ourselves. It wound up being a positive though, because we sat by the pool every day and relaxed, met great people in the pool and at the bar. The bar staff was awesome and I can’t say enough about the drinks they were The housekeeping was the best I’ve experienced at Sandals. Our room was always immaculate, and we were well taken care of by Ilianna :). The grounds were so pretty with the statues and flowers 🌺 The kitty cats were fun, just hanging out or being friendly. We lived in Mario’s and the Bayside!!! All the wait staff and hosts/hostesses were great! The chef at Mario’s would create a new risotto every night, and they were delicious. 😋 I only regret not renting a car for the day and seeing the island. When we come back, my husband and I are going to remedy that. Thank you, Zeleeta (sorry about the spelling) for the beautiful manicure and friendly chat 🙂 Thank you to everyone at Sandals Antigua!!

This was a trip for our honeymoon!! I am so happy we stayed at Mobay!! It had very lowkey vibes, but there were moments that felt like a party which was perfect. My husband and I are not the constant party type of people, but we do enjoy one every now and then. We booked a butler suite and our butlers Marvin and Steven were phenomenal!! We would come off the beach to a nice soaking tub with flowers and towel animals that I didn’t want to mess up. The beach was absolutely wonderful, and the staff are amazing at making sure you are good on drinks or if they could get you another. There were several times drinks would just be brought around for anyone who felt inclined to try a new drink. I will say the staff and sandals in general were absolutely phenomenal, however, we booked two excursions that would take us outside of the resort. First, we did Chukkas which offers a variety of things to do: ziplining, river tubing, bamboo rafting, etc. The ziplining was great, the staff were funny, and I would absolutely do it again, the river tubing was just okay. It wasn’t a long trip, you get a few rafting moments, but it is very much short lived and you can definitely get attacked by mosquitoes (so wear bug spray). The second excursion was the reggae catamaran with snorkeling. At first it was great!! We then made a stop to pick up 60+ people from another resort that was unexpected. More than half of these people did not participate in snorkeling (which is fine, but a waste of money imo) and once the included lunch was mentioned, these people took it upon themselves to indulge in the food and not leaving enough for the rest of the boat (I’m talking 5 chicken fingers per one singular plate) you would have thought it was a buffet. We stop at margaritaville next and it is party central (if that’s what you are looking for then great, we just weren’t.) (I’m also a big parrot head, and jimmy buffet was not played one singular time while we were there; it was solely party music, again if that’s your jam then great! Not for us). For the money we paid to go snorkeling on a catamaran it was not worth it imo. Sandals offers a snorkeling boat (for free) where you go with maybe 10-12 people for about 30 min to another coral reef and you can see more than what we did. I would highly recommend that. Now, my favorite part of this trip was the main bar area. There were several events that took place here, but we stayed for the bartenders. My husband and I made really good with two of the bartenders, Marlon and Rayon who were absolutely phenomenal. They made their special drinks and they shared the culture of Jamaica from the perspective. It was an amazing experience to learn from them and what their life has been like. They never left our glasses empty and they were truly the best part of our entire trip. We hung out with them for last 4 nights of our trip and I wish we would have found them sooner. They know how to make a good time and keep the good vibes going. Aside from the excursions, mobay was absolutely phenomenal and I never wanted to leave. It was an experience like no other and I can’t wait to go back. I was 100% living my best life and I am already counting down the days until we come back!!

My 10-day "paradise" trip to Sandals Grenada in June 2025 was a $1,000/day nightmare. For four full days, 40% of my vacation, construction noise from large machinery and yelling crews plagued the resort during peak beach hours. This not only created an unbearable racket but also cut the already small beach in half, leading to severe overcrowding. Despite assurances from Sandals customer service prior to my trip that the resort was in "pristine condition" following earlier storms, their post-complaint response admitted they had "lost a great deal of the beach as well as some of [their] structures" and that the beach was in "dire need of upkeep." This direct contradiction means I was lied to before my trip, preventing me from choosing a different, undisturbed location. When I requested compensation for these four wasted days, Sandals offered a measly two free days that couldn't be combined with other offers—essentially, one day of restitution for four days of disruption. I declined their insufficient offer. Sandals management prioritized their construction needs over guest experience, a stark contrast to the pampered experience they expect their staff to deliver. Their disregard for my concerns and their deceptive pre-trip information has ensured I will never return to a Sandals property. I hope others considering Sandals have a better experience than mine.

The service, food, beach and resort were perfect for us. I loved the fact that some of the staff remembered us from last year and welcomed us with open arms. Our butler team of Teddy, Marlon and Shane were top notch and made our week so special, especially our anniversary day. We had Teddy last year and requested him again. I have always had great service at every sandals, but Grenada stands out. Glitches with the Sandals App. would not allow me to make a restaurant reservation. Everyone at club Sandals was so helpful in getting everything including reservation taken care of. Jamol called daily to see if there were anything thing I needed. Reiana at the gift shop and her sister at club Sandals was so nice to surprise my fiancee by singing Happy birthday. Lemoron at the dive center took us out windsurfing and educated us about the island. Captain on the boat tour was also informative. The very talented Ahkim who is part of the entertainment team greeted us everyday. We never had a long wait at the bar and all the bartender was upbeat, especially Kisselle that would always greet us with a smile on her face. The only downside was that they was making improvements on the beach while we were there, but that's understandable and everything else makes up for it.
