Just back from 10 nights in sandals Ochi. Overall, a brilliant holiday with just a few cons to the resort in our opinion. We have stayed in two other Sandals previously, Barbados and Antigua. Staff in Ochi are extremely friendly and welcoming overall, a special mention should go to Omar at breakfast in Vista sky, Basil at the Manor pool bar and the girl that seemed to always be working in the pool bar but I didn’t catch her name sorry! They were all so pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent everywhere and there is a great variety of restaurants in the resort compared to other Sandals. This is due to how large the resort is, being spread out over two locations, which brings me onto a con. We personally found that the “Hop” bus that brings guests between the two resorts, results in the holiday not flowing as well or being as relaxing as other Sandals breaks. It’s only a 5 minute journey and we are not by any means too precious to get on the bus, but it would often be the case you’d be at the pool/ beach in one location but fancied a restaurant in the other for lunch, and by the time you’ve waited on a bus and moved, 30 mins out of the middle of the day would be wasted. Buses came roughly every 10/15 min. At night time, we also found you couldn’t seamlessly check out everything the hotel had to offer, entertainment wise for example. You might fancy a drink in the speakeasy bar which is on one location, but would then miss out of the piano player entertainment in the other, to give an example. It was hard to be certain you’d make the entertainment scheduled in one location at a given time if your dinner was in the other, as you’d have to factor in the bus. This is of no fault to the staff of course and the bus service is clearly highlighted by Sandals so we were fully aware of the situation before booking, just unfortunately felt it interrupted the flow of our holiday more than we had anticipated. However, we spoke to many guests who did not share our feelings so everyone is different. And Ochi is one of the cheaper Sandals, so this may well be one of the reasons why. The beach is also not as nice as your typical Carribean beach. Another thing we found that slightly inconvenienced us during the middle of the day was the length of time food took come in two restaurants in particular, Marnier and Tapas, we did wait an hour on two particular days in both restaurants for our food. It is most definitely worth the wait when it comes though, especially in Tapas, the food was delicious. Another small tweak we’d love to see is attentiveness of staff to keep water topped up, especially during long waits for food. I felt we did often have to ask for more water and it would take awhile to come, completely dependent on who was working. But I must reiterate how friendly the majority of staff were. Somethings we found to be a major plus in this hotel coated to Sandals Barbados, was the availability of sun beds. It was so refreshing to not see butler guests having sun beds they may never use reserved for them at both the beach and the pool, severely impacting the availability. This practice was rife in Sandals Barbados but not here in Ochi. It was great to not have to be up for 6/7am to reserve sun beds. Towel availability was also no issue whatsoever in Ochi, whereas in Barbados this was another problem at both the pool and in the rooms. Cleanliness of the rooms in Ochi was also top notch, our cleaner Dameshia kept everything really well. I would definitely recommend Sandals Ochi, but just be aware of requirement to use the bus service to get between the pools, beach and restaurants of the resort.

Sooooooo!!!!! I promised an honest review when I returned. Okay overall I give the resort a 79, small portions, understaffed, trying to get your butter on the phone! Not very crowded so why such shotty service? I understand you can order the whole menu, we don’t want the whole menu just a decent portion of what we like! A lot of miscommunication from butlers to room service on choices we want. You tell the butler on thing and get something similar but not what you wanted. What happened to the Sandals pool mats? Security was ok always had a person on post! Yards were immaculate! Staff always pleasant and willing to help! Mostly it seemed the lower down the rung the more they wanted to help! Except the GM Carol she was the best with the limited time I had with her. Our butlers in the end turned it around! They need a room cleaning time layed out for each customer so you know when they are coming! One time I was about to take a nap and heard the doorbell ring lol! Anyway that’s my review, Will I go back? Yup already booked it for next year! Every place has room to improve! No place is perfect and we got this on 777. However Sandals needs to step it back up or be left behind!

What a great resort for our honeymoon. Our stay was over the top. We decided on Sandals because we had heard great things from our travel agent who had visited this particular spot. He was right, everything about our trip was great. We reserved a private car service (via Sandals) from the airport to take us to the resort. Best way to go as they pick you up right at the airport and take you to the resort. Learned a lot along the way about Jamaica. Our room was stunning and had a nicely laid-out surprise when we arrived (see photos). Went with the butler service and WOW, that's the way to go. Clive and Ricardo were fabulous and took good care of us. Book your reservations, should you need them, and anything else through them, that way you won't have to wait in any lines..which there weren't any to think of. They escort you right to your table, which was very nice. Food was outstanding, lots of favorites to choose from. We enjoyed Jasmines very much for dinner as well as Eleanors Giuseppe's. If you wanted to avoid the crowd for breakfast, we thought Eleanors was more laid back, though we did do breakfast on our balcony three times. Just fill out your card as to what you'd like and at what time and they deliver it right to your room or balcony. That was awesome!! So was our candlelight dinner on the beach, literally ten feet from the waters edge. It was perfect. THE GROUNDS ARE AMAZING, their lush atmosphere, flowers and trees are breathtaking too. Our beach cabana was reserved our entire stay and our butlers had whatever drinks and a few surprises for us each day in our personal coolers. The beach was very nice, we could walk for quite a ways if we wanted. The water is spectacular but we will say, the bottom off of our beach had a muddy feel to it, not sand. You get use to it and it was fine. There is spots set aside for more of a sand bottom but we did not partake. The snorkel boat was right on property so that was great for our short trip out and back from the reef. Latitudes Overwater Bar is under construction due to the hurricanes and some large trucks did drive along the beach from time to time. Overall we love our honeymoon experience and first taste of Sandals, we can't wait to try more of their locations! Chris & Renee

We just got back from our first Southcoast experience and all I can say is WOW! We were blown away by the customer service and attention to detail in all aspects of this resort from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The grounds of this resort are beautiful and immaculately maintained. We spent the majority of our time at the Longbeach pool since our room was in the Longbeach building. We really enjoyed this pool as it is more lowkey and quieter than the big pool. They play nice background music and it is not too loud. It is a great laidback atmosphere. There were some games throughout the day, which was nice. The bartenders at this pool bar were a lot of fun and were always suggesting different drinks to try. We reserved a private beach cabana w/a butler one day and it was amazing! The cabana was set on a relatively private part of their beach and we were never bothered by anyone walking by. Javal was our butler and he made sure our day was perfect. He was constantly bringing us delicious food and fun drinks and kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. He was so kind and we really enjoyed visiting with him throughout the day. We will definitely request him again! We went on the glass bottom boat tour one morning. It is an activity that is included with the resort, so we thought we would give it a try. Despite not seeing many fish, we had a great time. O'Brien was our tour guide and made the trip educational and really fun! We tried several of the restaurants and the food was great at every one. We particularly liked the Jerk Shack for lunch - the chicken is soooo good! We went to Schooner's every morning for breakfast, which was also very good. The staff at Schooner's went out of their way to be sure your breakfast was exactly the way you wanted it. We aren't seafood fans, so we didn't eat at a couple of the restaurants, but everyone we met said the seafood was amazing! We stopped in the Club Sandals building several times throughout our stay to ask various questions about entertainment, restaurants, activities, etc. And each time we were greeted warmly and our questions answered kindly. A special shout out to Tracy and Clarke who were extremely helpful. Overall a 10/10 experience for us! Before we left the property we booked another trip to return there in 2026! Can't wait to go back!

Sandals South Coast was an amazing experience. From the beautiful room to the delicious restaurants, we had the best vacation ever! This year was our second trip to South Coast. We enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful private beach, attending the evening entertainment, socializing in the two pool bars, tasting the scrumptious deserts and coffee at Cafe de Paris, and resting the night away in our beautiful room. The staff was very helpful and very friendly and the excursions were plentiful. I would highly recommend vacationing at Sandals South Coast Jamaica!

Having heard so much about how exceptional Sandals was supposed to be we were expecting great things and to be wowed and sadly we weren’t. Pros - nice setting with soft sand and beautiful views. Water sports are good. Crema for coffee, biscuits and ice cream is lovely. Room- comfy bed and pillows, Cons - resort very small and restrictive and we were advised not to walk outside the complex especially at night. A few members of staff were quite rude, abrupt and unhelpful. We downloaded the app but was unable to get it to work even after 3 trips to the Loyalty Desk. Room - dust underneath bed (still there at checkout 10 days later) Had to beg for toiletries and teabags No umbrella in room and when I asked for one as it was raining, it was never delivered as promised In room minibar not replenished for 3 days. Drawers do not close properly Restaurants - food on the whole was good but menus do not change and there are regularly dishes that are unavailable. Bird poo on the stage in the main restaurant (still there when we left) Beware birds will steal food from your plate whilst eating. Bars - returning guests were often given preference in the queue. Piano bar roof leaks badly and repairs are needed so choose your seat carefully when raining. Main bar also has a leaking roof. Popular drinks often run out and the champagne is often served warm. Entertainment - poor in the day but evening shows were good. We don’t consider karaoke as entertainment and this seemed to be the main entertainment after 10 pm. Pool areas - main pool has rap/dance music playing very loudly all day so it isn’t relaxing. Pool tiles in need of repair as many are missing and there are scum marks around the edges so they could do with a good clean. Sunbeds in the best positions on the beach and by the pools are reserved by Butlers for the privileged guests who don’t always used them until the afternoon. Unless you have a butler or get up very early (6am) it’s difficult to find ones with umbrellas or together if there is a group of you. Rainwater not swept away which meant you were paddling through the puddles to get to/from your room in the evening. We went to Beaches Resort 5$ per person each way and there were more choices of restaurants and better facilities there. Summary - we would not return to this resort and would not consider any Sandals resort for future holidays. We have experienced far superior cleanliness, service and facilities and paid a lot less that we paid for this holiday.

I generally never write reviews but this time I had to. The poor experience started at booking. I’ve been to this property last year and couldn’t wait to return again someday. Originally booked for Antigua this time, after finding out flights changed with an ungodly 14 hr lay over in and out back in Feb I called and switched back to this property. I was told I was going to get a refund for the flights to Antigua and needed to book new flights to Negril. The room at Negril was a little more money than Antigua so I needed to log on during the call and pay the $1600 for new flights on American Airlines and the room difference which if I’m correct was about $500. I was totally fine with this, I’m not looking for anything for free. During the call the agent quoted a price for the flights and came back less than 10 min later and said the price increased I argued and she said they could honor the price from 10 min prior. I was ok with that. A few weeks prior to arrival I discover flights were never booked! I had gotten an email from American Airlines at the end of the initial call with ticket numbers and flight record locator. When I called it was documented “you didn’t want to pay more for flights so no flight was booked”. How did I get confirmation from airline then. So during call #2 I needed to log on and pay another $950 for flights to MBJ. knowing calls are recorded I requested a call review. After multiple calls trying to get an answer I was told I didn’t over pay that 1600 was a room upgrade charge. WHAT?? I wold not have agreed to that. I just wanted this much needed vacation and after fighting some more finally got the refund from the Antigua flights. So I went to enjoy. The property is still nice, beach beautiful. But I was disappointed that management changed and it showed. The menus were not as delicious as last year the service not as good and I don’t need much service. As we booked a club level we mentioned our anniversary which was during the trip. And every time I called prior with the issues they repeated that they were aware of it. Anniversary came zero acknowledgment. We went to private candle lit dinner on break that day which was just ok. We were paired with Corey who was nice but green. We noted all the other tables were lit up with different colors. The candle on our table didn’t work no colors and the tiki torches didn’t work. He tried to relight them but I was like no worries. We were outta there in an hour flat. Back in the room I WhatsApp messaged the resort was apologized to for the lack of acknowledgment and didn’t even bother to complain about the candle lit dinner but as an act of good will the comped out for their error. Fine. Other issues: asked for DND sign 2x never came housekeeping didn’t come until evening but every single time I was in the shower there was a knock at my door or a phone ringing. I got out of the shower soaked and was like forget it. I called the night before to order breakfast room service for the following day. They were on time but order was incorrect. I ordered the smoked salmon and bagel with cream cheese. Also ordered mimosa. Got the fish but not the bagel nor drinks. Called to report so they were aware and was told they would bring it. I declined I just wanted to eat and get on with the day. As I’m eating a housekeeper popped over the divider from next door to scold as the room service person was at the door with the food. Ok I go answer. I got the drinks and a huge plate of bacon that I didn’t order no bagel no cream cheese. And this is why I declined bc I knew this would happen. Sat in the hut near the vendors on Friday. 2 male vendors got into a huge fight screaming at each other and I has to ask them to cool it. They apologized but seriously? Then while the walking vendors are normally no problem a woman who was clearly impaired literally came up to the hut 1 foot away from my face asking me to get her pizza bc she has no money. I refused and she huffed off. Security initially didn’t seem to understand my complaint but returned later to assure me it won’t happen again. She came back 3x. While I may seem disgruntled I’m not. I’m simply reporting this here bc for the amount of money I ended up spending the experience this time was really not what is expected. Here’s the kicker. 730 am day of departure needing to be at the desk to check out a guy came to room trying to do a survey. Yep I was in shower. Said not good time. If you wanted me to give you a 20/10 perhaps should have checked in with me earlier in trip. And he had the audacity to argue with me regarding the DND sign I never got is because I was stopped to use the button in the room to ask for privacy or service. Had to show him they didn’t work. His response “oh”I have more concerns but no more energy to write. Please take this feed back and improve. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be back.

Sandals Negril, Jamaica. My wife and I stayed for several nights and were extremely pleased, stepping through the light, airy and friendly atmosphere of the lobby. The staff throughout the resort were very courteous and professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeted us with a smile and cheerfulness. The room was spacious and well equipped with all the usual you'd expect, truly outstanding garden views with fresh smells of jasmine and lavender. Maids cleaned and dressed our room every day. The 8 restaurants were amazing with lots of variety to choose from including the set menus. The best scenes overlook the sand and sea, and they all had a view for the sunset. Our stay was truly overwhelming and just to name a few staff members that made our experiences a complete joy were staff like Simone the gardener, Trinia and Teiry-Ann J from the main restaurant, Jermaine the photographer, and Trinia making my delicious whisky sours and the Bob Marley rums, these are just some of the names I can remember. They all excelled and went above and beyond their duties for us to capture more great memories. Hope to see you all soon again.

Great Staff, Great Restaurants - Guests Need to Step it Up We have more than 200 nights with Sandals and have been to most of the properties. This property is going through a rejuvenation and has such potential. Highs - Great staff. Excellent service. Super personable and engaging team. Keith at the Piano bar took time to walk to the Crema to get espresso for my wife’s espresso martini. Many would have just used Khalua but he really made an effort to make a proper drink and it was delicious! Philecia at Crema is so friendly and remembered me every morning. In spite of needing extra staff, she remains cheerful and engaged one on one with each guest. Nicardo at the Barefoot made me the week’s best Bloody Mary at breakfast. He said he’s only been making them for a week but he made it so well and was so proud that it was made perfectly. Charlton at the piano bar is the man to see during the day. Great cocktails and a friendly face. I got to know him well and he didn’t blink when I asked for a custom drink. He’s great! Marion at piano bar/pool bar - Always with a smile. Our butlers Romaine and Shanice were phenomenal. Didn’t miss a single thing on our preference sheet and added many extras that made this vacation very fun. Honestly they made the vacation for us. The Lows - Dress Code - In all of our travels I have never seen so many people not dressed properly for dinner. Sandals has “relaxed” the dress codes, which I think is a huge mistake. I cannot recount ever seeing men wearing swimming trunks and t-shirt to dinner. We saw that multiple times here, and not only at the “casual” restaurants. We even saw a man wearing pants and NO SHIRT at the main bar one evening. Of course, their wives were all dressed beautifully. Gentlemen, please make an effort. Put on a collared shirt and a pair of nice shorts. Your wives are making an effort. Don’t insult her. Smoking Areas - There were three on the entire property. All of them were built like bus stops with very uncomfortable benches and no chairs. For those of us that enjoy a cigar every evening it would be wonderful to have an area where there are many comfortable chairs to relax with a cigar. I was also irritated at all of the people vaping in the bars, on the beach and in the restaurants. I don’t know why these people feel as if the rules don’t apply to them. Number of restaurants - they really need to add one or two places, specifically one or two with air conditioning. Yes we went in May, but the heat is inescapable here. I would hope for one central place for everyone to gather after dinner. The main restaurant and main bar are what is used and the whole experience is disjointed. Overall we enjoyed the property. Would we return? Likely. Would we hurry to return? Not so much.

I want to be thorough in this review because if you know certain things you can have a great time at Sandals. I first have to prepare you for when you travel from the airport to the resort. It takes over an hour and the small road with what we would call dangerous driving conditions, along with seeing a very impoverished island will make you think “what did I get myself into”! However, then you enter the resort!!! We stayed a couple of days in Regency La Toc and a couple of days in the Halcyon and visited the Grande. At the Sandals Regency La Toc, we stayed in the Butler suite. We had 3 butlers that would service you around the clock. Their hospitality was top notch. While you we were out of the room, we would come back to a room decorated for our Anniversary and a tub filled on the balcony with fruit to eat, the curtains closed so you can get in with or without a swimsuit!! If you like alcohol, it is everywhere (we don’t drink). Our Butlers found us some bottles of non-alcoholic bubbly! For my Birthday they had a delicious cake, and balloons tied to the bed. They drove us by cart to wherever we wanted to go at the resort. They secured pool chairs and beach chairs and provided drinks. There were special dinners and activities for those in the butler suites. However, you could also go and have a lot of fun with the activities occurring in the non-butler section of the resort. THE ONE THING WE REALIZED TOO LATE WAS DURING ALL THE OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES, THE MOSQUITOS WERE HAVING A GREAT TIME TOO. WEAR DEEP WOODS OFF ANY TIME YOU CAN!! We brought OFF but didn’t hardly use it because it didn’t seem necessary, but we had over 40 bumps each when we left. Besides that, the resort was an excellent experience. All the workers were the nicest most helpful people. If you like seclusion stay in the butler suite, if you like a lot of people around and more activities, stay in the normal suites. At the Halcyon we stayed in the room with the swim lagoon right outside our door. That was a nice pool where my wife and I would walk the length of it in the water, take pictures with the scenery with our water camera. All the restaurants were good. The night activities were great, from listening to live singers and musicians, to dancing with headphones with two live DJ’s and more. We had a great time and made a lot of awesome memories. Although all the resorts have a beach, if you want to go to a really great beach, shuttle over to the Grande. The beach is spectacular. We didn’t stay at the Grande, but it looked immaculate. I also believe the night life there is the best too. You can shuttle between the resorts and participate in the various activities. We heard a lot about the street party they have but after seeing how the island looks outside the resorts, we decided not to go!

Sandals Regency La Toc-One of Our Best Trips Ever

We just returned from Sandals Regency La Toc in St Lucia, having spent the week of May 14-21 with family and friends. We have been to many other Sandals resorts and Turks and Caicos Beaches. This was a return trip to La Toc as we first visited here in 2006 as our third trip to a Sandals resort. Unlike some of the negative feedback we’ve seen online, our trip was one of the best ever with great accommodations, service, food, etc. If we had to complain it would have been about so much rain during the week we were there. I’ll do my best to provide some feedback that might be useful to those considering Sandals resorts in St Lucia, both newbies and veterans alike. - We stayed in room code PP1- Sunset Bluff Penthouse Oceanview One Bedroom Butler Suite with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub. This room was on the fourth floor and provided what had to be some of the best views from the resort (see the pic). This is a nice suite with plenty of room, a comfortable balcony, and nice features. We had family and friends who stayed in room code WO-Sunset Bluff Oceanview Club Level. These rooms have a fantastic view but no balcony with more limited space than what the photos online portray. Both of these room categories are located up on the Oceanview Bluff, separated from the main resort and are adjacent to the Butler Elite Lounge, Armando’s restaurant, and the Oceanview Bluffs pool. If you don’t take the constantly running shuttles or have a butler with a golf cart, expect to get a nice workout walking up a steep hill leading from the main resort. Our friends upgraded to stay in the Rondovals, room code SKYV- Rondoval Butler Sky Villa w/ Private Pool. These rooms were new additions to the resort located in a nicely laid out area. Don’t select this room if you’re looking for privacy but more so if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with your own plunge pool and rooftop patio. There are no golfcarts allowed in the Rondovals section so expect to walk from your room to the main entrance before being picked up by your butler. Be aware that La Toc is an older resort with continuing efforts to upgrade and improve. If you’re expecting new accommodations that would be a mistake unless you’re staying in the Rondovals. - We had butlers who were some of the best ever, having had numerous butler rooms in the past. The team of Fernella, Shana, and Skylar made sure we lacked for nothing during our stay. Communication was great and they went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was the best it could be. A shoutout to three fantastic ladies! - Our food and service was outstanding overall. Armando’s was fantastic for dinner, nice surroundings, great service, and excellent food. I strongly recommend the lamb chops if you’re a fan of lamb. La Toc was a nice venue for dinner again with excellent service and cuisine. My better half, Michelle, recommends the lambshank as one of the best choices. The Pavilion offered a large variety of items for breakfast (buffet) with excellent service. We had a very enjoyable dinner at The Pitons—service and food were #1 (lamb chops were great here as well! Are you seeing a trend here?) A great lunch at Neptunes with super service and tasty food. Bella Napoli Pizzeria served some good pizzas but unless they change the recipe, stay away from the gluten-free crust. According to Michelle it was inedible and tasted terrible. Soy Sushi was disappointing. Compared to other Sandals resorts this venue was small with a limited menu (no Tempura, etc.). The resort can do better. Our daughter used room service a lot and enjoyed everything they ordered. We had coffee and pastries delivered to us each morning. - Pool beverage service was outstanding. We had no complaints regarding the drinks served and loved the Piton beer. Our daughter and her husband, at their first Sandals, had the goal of trying every drink available. Standout bartenders/servers were Shere and Cassandra! If you’re a fan of sweet milk-shake like drinks try the BBC! The Millionaire is a refreshing mixed drink! - La Toc has three pools. The Oceanview Bluff pool has waterfalls and a view. The main pool is large and well laid out. Pool chairs were available through mid-morning although competition heats up as the morning goes by. The quiet pool offers a nice venue as an alternative. There are several roomy hot tubs located with the pools. - For those few of you who like to work out while on vacation, stay in one of the Oceanview Bluff rooms and don’t take any transportation back and forth! The two fitness centers at La Toc are small with very limited equipment. Halcyon, as a much smaller resort, has 3-4 times as much equipment as La Toc but a workout is definitely possible. - La Toc’s beach is not as nice as the Grande but for a much lesser cost (and the benefit of visiting the Grande whenever you want) is a nice beach with pretty water. If you like waves this is the beach for you! - St Lucia is a beautiful island. Be sure to do an excursion off the resort, whether booked through Sandals or with one of the private contractors located on the beach. We took a tour with Fun Time Tours (Jiggy) that included visits to the Sulfur baths, waterfall, snorkeling between the Pitons, and other stops. Just pay attention to what is being offered (for example, are you visiting a chocolate shop with the chance to buy chocolate or a chance to see how it’s made?) and what the specifics are regarding transportation, group size, etc. - St Lucia is a great choice for a Sandals trip as it offers you the opportunity to see three Sandals resorts located on the island. La Toc, Grande St Lucian, and Halcyon Beach. I would consider La Toc in the middle of the three regarding size and atmosphere. The Grande (very grand!) is very popular and a beautiful resort. It is the largest of the three so expect a much larger crowd there. Located on a bay it has great water with little to no waves. Halcyon is the quietest and smallest of the three. My impression was that it caters to those who want fewer people and less commotion. I saw two main pools, one by the beach and another located more in the back of the resort next to a lazy river. Both pools are smaller in size compared to the other two resorts. This resort is worth a visit if nothing else to eat at Kelly’s Dockside. This is a beautiful restaurant on the water with a fantastic menu and delicious food. Check it out if you make the trip to St Lucia! As mentioned previously, this time at La Toc was one of the best trips ever! Be sure to take advantage of visiting any of the other resorts while you’re there!

I just returned from my third vacation staying at Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort. I love staying here because of the love that all of the people here show is so beautiful. Every time we pass someone they always greet us with a big hello and smiles. Love relaxing on the beach sipping on the Bob Marleys! The food is so good in all of the restaurants, especially the buffet breakfasts in Spices! Also loved the Thai Restaurant and Bombay Restaurant. Everyone treated us like VIP's and we look forward to being back there next year. Special mentions to Rochelle/Bombay Restaurant, Neidre, Beverly, Trafari, Mennto, Lamar, Trischelle, Kimoy and all of the other wonderful people there.

I didn’t know what my expectations were until they weren’t met. Second time at Sandals in Jamaica. We booked a butler suite to enjoy the full “Sandals” experience. On our first day our butler sent us on a hunt for food after we arrived (we observed others butlers bring them food from the same locations) and we couldn’t find our butler at dinner or any time after. On the second day we asked to be set up by the pool after lunch and our butler said she would be returning to take our lunch and tell us where we were seated at the pool. She never returned and when we called a few hours later she was gone. Our second butler was much better and booked us dinner, helped us get drinks, was much more attentive. Our second butler picked a great spot by the pool for us. Truly shined in comparison to our first butler. We noticed that the entire resort seemed to shut down for a wedding on Sunday night even room service stopped answering the phone when we called at 8:00. No one ever communicated if the hours were different that day than what they originally told us. Twice in 3 days we had to ask for our hand towels and face cloths to be replenished as they turned down the room and took our used towels but never replaced them.

Great stay at Sandals Royal Caribbean. We love the relaxed and chill vibe at this resort. There’s construction going on but they minimize impacts on guests. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The staff here are so friendly. Each and everyone not only greets you but also checks to see if you are having a good time. We had fantastic butler service by Sherry-Ann, Joslyn and Kish. They took great care of us each day at the beach with special surprises added in (on the beach and in our room). Their service made our trip special and we loved the pampering. Also want to give shout out to Joy, Criss Anne and Jada at Royal Thai. We had 2 great dining experiences there-food was great, service by these ladies excellent. Overall, we had great meals at all the restaurants. Check out Cricketers for after dinner drinks. The bartender, JC, brings the fun and will make your drink just the way you like it. Don’t miss the Red Lane Spa. Keron and Chantana were responsible for an over the top Night Blooming Jasmine couples massage. If you haven’t done this massage, try it. It was the best we’ve had (and we’ve tried most of the ones offered at the Sandals resorts and they’ve all been great). We also give a huge shout out to Dawn Smith, the GM. She runs a superb resort with outstanding staff that makes all the difference to your experience. She takes time to walk around the resort and greet guests and lunch with SSG members. We are returning guests and look forward to future stays at this resort.

We spent our second wedding anniversary at Sandals Royal Caribbean & had the best time! We got SO lucky to meet Quewayne, he helped out my husband who spent most of his day time fishing the private island and constantly checked in on me while I was sunbathing & brought us the best lemonades, he found us everyday & made sure we got the best experience we could get. He was such a big part of making our stay great, we did not want to leave! We stayed in the Windsor building which we definitely recommend as you get great views of the sunrise & sunset without having to leave the room. The nightly entertainment could use some revamping as we were hoping to get the entertainment we got at Sandals Royal Bahamian. We loved the breakfast & lunch buffets at Spices. There is plenty of wildlife to watch around the resort between the birds, stingrays, fish & crabs. A lot of the resort was under construction so it was not packed witch made it so easy to experience everything the resort had to offer.

The resort, service and food were amazing. Anything we needed was promptly taken care of. Room was pool facing with balcony, bed comfy. The only thing I had issue with, description said a "selection" of wine in room and it was one bottle of red, which I don't drink BUT I ask and white received promptly. Drinks at pool amazing and Tevin gets a special shout out as he always remembered drink order, recognized us and super nice. One thing I would change is, we felt like the spa ladies were hounding us. Every time we turned around there they were, even followed us to beach. Also, we did the shopping excursion and it was a waste of time, not enjoyable. We did visit the Grand and LaToc, both very nice but the Grands beach was amazing!

My wife and I traveled to Sandals Halcyon Beach for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was our first Sandals experience. We booked the JB room category for reference if that helps. Spending that kind of money comes with a certain level of expectations, and I wondered if the experience would live up to my high expectations. Let me put that to bed very early in this review.....Sandals Halcyon Beach exceeded and blew away those expectations. From the very moment we arrived and was greeted with a cold wash cloth and a warm and friendly welcome song. Our butler, Willard, greeted and walked us to our room and gave us a site tour so we would know where everything was located. The JB room category gave us incredible privacy as well as breath taking views of the beach. I almost booked the ground floor that had a small pool, but I am so glad I booked the 2nd floor suite as the views were a great trade off and the stairs weren't a big deal at all. One of the highlights of our anniversary day there was another one of our butlers, Vito, drew a bubble bath on our deck for my wife. She enjoyed the tranquility along with some champagne and a chocolate covered fruit tray. The resort is one of the smaller Sandals resorts, but I was extremely happy with the restaurants that were offered as well as the evenings entertainment. Nightly drinks at the main bar was incredible and Vince always made us the most wonderful and colorful drinks. The resort itself was amazing, but it really was the attentive, amazing, hardworking staff that made the difference for us. We had 3 butlers for the week and I want to say a major and sincere thank you to Willard, Vito, and Samantha for making us feel like we were the most important guests on the property. After getting a few of our drink orders, they quickly knew what we liked and always brought us drinks on the beach as if they knew when we were ready for another. The entire service was more than worth it, our butler team secured premier seating at both the pool and beach, secured our desired dinner spots and times, served us many times room service for breakfast and the aforementioned drinks no matter where we were located on property. We took advantage of a beachside, oceanfront dinner on the beach on our anniversary night. During that time we also had our own photography session and the photography staff was great and the pictures we will cherish, they turned out great. We took advantage of two separate excursions. The Sunset Piton Snorkel Cruise was amazing. Plenty of drinks and appetizers were a great touch. The views of the island and getting to see other communities were great, and obviously seeing the Pitons didn't disappoint. We also went to the Friday night street party in town. So many wonderful local food and shopping vendors. We had some great local seafood at Duke's and enjoyed dancing in the streets to the great music. I would certainly highly recommend Sandals Halcyon Beach, it was everything we could have asked for and more. Thank you to everyone there who made our trip a once in a lifetime experience. We look forward to the day we can book another stay there.

This was the second visit in 2 years to this beautiful resort. The Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food at all the restaurants was excellent, Kelly's for a slightly more formal, though still relaxed evening meal was great. As we were on the resort for 2 weeks we tried a good many of the choices, and only on one occasion did I have was a slightly sub standard meal - this could just have been the choice I made. We visited both other resorts, The Grande for an Indian meal, and La Toc for the Caribbean restaurant, both very good, however it was always nice to get back to the Halcyon, a smaller and more intimate resort. On the entertainment front, we particularly enjoyed the Country night, as we had on our previous visit. There was also a very good female singer on one night. My wife loved the silent disco, which was quite amusing to watch from a distance. The Michael Jackson impressionist was definitely not for us, though others seemed to enjoy this. Service was generally excellent, though on 2 occasions when we went to Kelly's for breakfast it was very slow and on one of the visits we left before we had even seen anyone. Having said that it should not detract from the great service we received overall. A particular mention should go to Kenny and Chris who provided excellent service to us again on this return visit. All the staff were just so friendly, Karim and Avelon at the pool bar, Francis, Junior and Nathalie in the Bayside, Jyan at the burger bar. I think it is only fair to also mention Sharon, the General Manager, who was always out and about checking on guests, being very responsive to any requests. We had a brilliant holiday again, and would strongly recommend to anyone.

Our trip to Sandals Grande Antigua was incredible the sandy beaches were stunning, with soft golden sand and clear blue waters that felt like a dream. One of the highlights was the Resort Shop, meeting Sophie and Alexandra but Alexandra stood out to us. Her warm smile, friendly attitude, and helpful nature truly stood out. She helped us pick out clothes, including a Sandals bag and a few gifts like hot sauces and English Harbour Rum (we took home four bottles!). She even shared the history behind the rum, which made it all the more special. What really amazed us was how she remembered our names, even with all the guests she meets daily. Alexandra made us feel right at home, and we even recommended her to our friends one of them bought a Tommy Bahama dress thanks to her! Alexandra, you did your big one. Thank you for making our trip exceptional!

My husband & I spent our honeymoon with Sandals Montego Bay and while we overall had a wonderful time, we were pretty disappointed with Sandals on a few different accounts considering the money we were paying. The resort is beautiful, with lots to do and the food is pretty good for an all inclusive. House keeping came twice a day and kept our room spotless. There was a great variety of entertainment, and the performers were super friendly/ talented. Some small things did add up, such as rude workers and the consistently unreliable times we were given. We like to interact with the workers and ask their recommendations for food and drink or directions when needed. Half the time, the employees looked annoyed/ inconvenienced to be asked or stared blankly at us. We asked where the gym was, and with an attitude, the worker pointed out that we didn’t know where anything was. When we said “yeah sorry it’s only our second day”, she said “you should know this by your second day”. No orientation or tour was offered to us when we were led to our room the first day. Maybe it’s partly cultural to have a more laidback schedule, but I am struggling to recall many instances where we WEREN’T given multiple different times by multiple different people. For example, worker tells us the aqua shack opens at 8. It really opens at 8:30. (Our excursion left at 8:20 so we had to beg them to let us in before hours to buy the mandatory water shoes.) We were told an employee would pick up our bags at 10:30 on checkout day. At 11:30, we took them ourselves. We had dinner reservations at 7. We didn’t get let in until 7:30. We were told tubing finishes at 4:45. They had everything shut down at 4. Martini event in the concierge lounge from 5-5:30. Concierge lounge is completely empty at 5:15. Our most frustrating one was our cabana. We were told to wait in our room for an employee to take us to our private cabana at 9am. We waited an hour and went to the front desk multiple times, assuming they forgot about us. We paid $1k for the 12 hour day experience and only ended up having a couple hours in the cabana before our next experience. Breakfast came a half hour late that morning. We also felt Sandals made some promises they didn’t keep. My husband let them know we were unhappy while on minute 45 of waiting for our cabana, and the concierge was apologetic and promised they will “do something to make up for it”. We were there 5 more days, and they did nothing. While booking the trip, my husband indicated it was our honeymoon and was emailed a form to fill out for 2 complimentary excursions if we could prove we were married. We know other couples (at Montego Bay and other Sandals resorts) that got this deal. Long story short, we didn’t. My husband talked to multiple people before the trip and at the resort and was basically just bounced around to the next person with no answer until he was told to call Sandals 1-800 number who told him after an hour and a half that there was nothing they could do. Wasted about 3 hours of his time that day of vacation. We understand that things happen (you can’t always be on time, workers have bad days, etc). But it really felt like one thing after another, and it sometimes required a conscious effort for us to have a positive attitude and enjoy our honeymoon. I rarely give bad reviews. But considering the money we paid, I really expected better and would hope those things are improved if we ever return to Sandals.

Fabulous week at Montego Bay! This was our second stay in Jamaica. The first was South Coast in October. SC had a much bigger and better buffet, but the restaurants at MB were great, especially Butch’s and the Italian restaurant. The snorkeling at MB was the best we’ve done anywhere (Dominican Republic, Cancun, South Coast). We went every day. We even had four HUGE spotted eagle rays swim under us one day. I saw reviews where some people complained about airplane noise, but honestly that didn’t bother us one bit. It only lasted a second and nothing at night. The first night we were there the music was loud until around 11 or 12, but the rest of the nights were quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Jameela, Christopher, and Jeromy. The only exception was the gift shop ladies at both MB and Royal Caribbean (which you can take the shuttle to). Both ladies were almost comically rude. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. The beach was gorgeous and ocean was free of seaweed both in October and this time in May. The sunsets are unbeatable. We appreciated having pickleballl courts to get some exercise.

Amazing anniversary

First time at sandals Montego Bay, and couldn’t be happier no complaints here. Food was great. Drinks were great. We loved it and definitely will be back.

This is our first-ever stay at a Sandals resort—Montego Bay—and we chose it to celebrate our honeymoon. Overall, it has been a truly wonderful experience so far. The absolute highlight of our trip has been the entertainment team and a few standout staff members who went above and beyond to make our stay special. Demario (aka Super Mario) was the heart of our vacation—he brought incredible energy, led fun beach games, danced with guests, and took the time to have real conversations. By the end of the trip, I didn’t just see him as part of the staff, but as a true friend. Lady J, Crazy Chris, and Shania were also fantastic—talented, warm, and so much fun to be around. Every show and activity they led was a blast and made each day exciting. The nightly shows have been absolutely great—fun, high-energy, and well put together. The DJs have also been excellent, keeping the vibes going and making every evening feel like a party. Jordan was another standout—we absolutely loved him. His saxophone performances were nothing short of amazing. His talent and kindness added something truly special to our evenings. And Leonardo, our favorite bartender, not only made incredible drinks but was also a genuinely great guy—always welcoming and fun to chat with. That said, not all staff members were very friendly. Some didn’t seem happy to be there and carried a negative demeanor, occasionally coming off as rude. This was disappointing, especially considering the high standards Sandals is known for. We’ve also found the dining experience a bit lacking. The food has been just okay—nothing to write home about. Breakfast restaurants open later than ideal for early risers. In fact, I’m actually writing this review while I wait for somewhere to open for breakfast. Lunch options are also limited, as most restaurants only open for dinner, which makes daytime dining feel repetitive and restricted. Despite those few issues, the incredible staff members we mentioned made our vacation unforgettable. Their energy, kindness, and dedication to guest experience truly made all the difference. We’re so glad we chose Sandals for our first all-inclusive experience!

We spent two weeks at this resort as part of my husbands 50th Birthday celebration and had an amazing time. We had Butler service in Crystal Lagoon Ocean View and had Butler service , have to say Danesha and Asha were amazing booking all our restaurants bringing us snacks and drinks and just giving us a great vibe to our holiday. Our room was lovely just opposite the piano bar (swim up pool) and we spent most of our time on our sunbeds just on the beach on the side of said swim up bar so had the best of both worlds with the beach the seas the pool and the bar all in touching distance. Restaurants - the breakfast buffet was always good with all the usual options (Great Coffee). For evening meals we tried all the restaurants and all were good although Soy (shout out to Joel and Brittany) was our favourite closely followed by Tokyo Joes although can’t say we had a bad meal whilst here. Entertainment was varied some nights quieter than others but always something going on from steel drums on the beach (silver birds were excellent) to the amazing Tasha (vocalist) and the sax player (didn’t catch his name). Stash always kept us entertained as host to many events / entertainment. We spent one day over at the Royal Carribean but preferred where we were at Montego Bay as it just felt a better set up. Shout out to the various ground keepers and cleaners always on the go making sure everything is as clean and tidy as it could be.

Sandals Grenada was the perfect place to celebrate our 10-year anniversary. The staff, the service, and the experience was on a whole different level. This all-inclusive resort experience has something for everyone, for every mood, and every vibe. Feel like partying? Feel like relaxing? Feel like some peace and quiet? Feel like going on an adventure? Feel like eating light? Feel like feasting? Sandals Grenada had it all. I personally enjoyed the relationships my wife and I were able to build with some other couples there. It was a large resort but it felt small socially because you would run into the same couples frequently which made for great relationship building. The resort was at 80% capacity when we were there over Memorial Day weekend (May 24-28, 2025), but it wasn't crowded. There were always seats and lounges available poolside, beachside, everywhere. I would recommend making dinner reservations in advance, but they are not necessary. Only certain restaurants like Butch's Chophouse and Kimodo (hibachi) require a reservation in advance. We took advantage of a few add-on experiences such as a couples massage (which was extremely romantic taking place on a pier over the ocean with the breeze), a candelight dinner on the beach, and a full day tour of the island (9:15-4:30). The tour guides were professional but I will warn you, if you get motion sick - please take the necessary precautions as the ride is bumpy and there are lots of stop/go's. We felt pampered by the resort staff. They sang to us. They greeted us at every passing. They were incredibly friendly (a testament to the people of Grenada). Staff didn't just stick to their designated roles either - if a photographer saw your plate was finished, they would clear it. As he said to us "Remember, we are all here to serve you." The beaches were safe and the peddlers were friendly, polite, and not too pushy. I would recommend bringing snorkeling gear for the lagoons (the beaches are protected by jettys that create two lagoons full of tropical fish and some coral. We were told by a local the best time to visit is April. The rainy season comes July-December BUT we were told it doesn't rain all day. We had a couple rain showers at night (early AM hours) and one or two around 8 am. But the showers pass quickly like most areas of the tropics. There is less of a risk of hurricanes during that season because Grenada sits below the hurricane highway in the Caribbean. The island is known for its spices (nutmeg, lemongrass, etc.) It has a beautiful aroma to it. They make their own chocolate on the island and we had a chance to sample some of it (delicious). Sandals is all-inclusive which means tipping is forbidden, except for private butler service (which we didn't take advantage of) and the add-on experiences. This was our first Sandals experience and first Grenada experience. We will be back.

My husband and I went to Sandals Grenada for the first time and loved it! We will be returning no doubt. This is such a beautiful country full of the nicest people. The staff is top tier. We loved our butlers Alex, Mikhael, and Antonio! If you go to Sandals Grenada, you should request this butler team! We most likely would not do the butler package again, but that is based off personal preference. If there is one thing we did not like it was how long it took to get certain things with the butler service. We heard this same issue with other couples we talked to. No fault of our own butlers! I think it is just the process and workload potentially. If you get the butler option, it is best to be direct and not go with the flow. That is where miscommunication happens. I would highly recommend the Jeep Tour through the island as well. This made our trip 10x better! Loved learning about the local culture. If you are wanting a smaller resort with all amenities within reach, this is the one!

My wife and I had a great time at this resort! This was our sixth Sandals stay, and we would describe Sandals Granada as an overall good experience. Some of their resorts have the party vibe going full swing and others are more layed, back but we put Sandals Granada right in the middle. It's just what you would expect from Sandals, there's plenty of activities going on and the main pools jumping during the afternoon but there's plenty of space to chill out and just relax. The staff is wonderful, landscaping is lush, snorkeling off the beach is actually great! Lots of different fish, and this resort has good drink service on the beach and solid nightly entertainment. The best part...it's 5 minutes from the airport! You can't go wrong with this Sandals resort, overall, it was a great experience, and we already booked a return trip!
