6. Time the deposit and final payment correctly
Sandals takes a $400 per couple deposit at booking and the balance is due 45 days before travel. If a 7-7-7 promo lands between your deposit and your final payment, your agent can rebook you at the new lower rate. This happens more often than you would think. Set a calendar reminder to check the Sandals deal page once a month between deposit and final payment. If you see a better promo, ask for the rebook.
7. Fly into the cheaper airport
Sandals includes round-trip airport transfers in every booking, which means your only flight cost is the airfare itself. For Jamaica, this means choosing between Montego Bay (MBJ) and Ian Fleming (OCJ); MBJ almost always has cheaper nonstops from US gateways even if your resort is closer to OCJ. For Saint Lucia, the same logic applies between Hewanorra (UVF) and Castries (SLU). For the Bahamas, Nassau (NAS) is dramatically cheaper than Exuma (GGT).
