Having stayed at many of the Sandals resorts I can say without question that this one is the best. Sandals 2.0 at its best. The resort location is both dramatic and beautiful. Nestled in a valley surrounded by lush forest and sheer hills it’s a pleasure to see. The grounds are kept beautiful by a team of gardeners that never seem to stop. The rooms are very modern and very clean. Turn down service is offered in the room that we stayed in every evening. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. Some of the restaurants are very similar, in the fayre that they offer, to other Sandals resorts but the standard is on another level. In particular Buccan. This restaurant offers local dishes, much of it cooked over fire. It did not disappoint. It’s a sharing experience so you will be sat at a table with other people. We were fortunate enough to have some great conversationalists or our table. Fantastic experience and lovely staff. Other restaurants of particular note was Scrimshaws: We had some fabulous food in the evening and the a la cart breakfast was very good. The service was excellent. Alika & Onasha went out of their way to help when I asked for something the kitchen didn’t have. They went above and beyond to make the start of the day feel very special. Ariel was another fantastic lady who was always smiling and happy and made the experience a great one. Parisol is a restaurant near the beach and offered a great view for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly and always made our visits feel special. In particular Kamelia and Russelle at breakfast. We also had Joy look after us at dinner one night and she made our dinner feel very special with great service. Gatsu Gatsu was always our go to restaurant to start the evening off. Some of the best sushi I’ve eaten. We were made to feel very welcome by Jeffery and his team including Zoe, Shevina (Chevy) and Levi the Chef. The Three Jewels (rum club) was another favorite of ours. The two bar men, Lionelle and Atu, were just amazing. These guys could entertain at the same time as making some incredible cocktails. They literally didn’t stop all night!! The Jerk Shack was pretty good too. The food was great (recommend the jerk pork) and we were always lucky to be looked after by Orlandra. She was just brilliant. Enough about the restaurants. The resort has lots of different pools to choose from. The main pool was always lively and lots going on. The cabanas were very good but always booked up, however, from July 1st 2025 the resort began charging for their use and suddenly there were lots of cabanas available. The heart shaped pool was excellent if you prefer things a bit more laid back and chilled out. Although the bar is further away, the pool service for drinks was excellent. We had a room category that meant we were offered the chance to arrive at the resort by boat. If you have that option I would definitely recommend it. I would also make you aware that we waited for nearly an hour and a half before we left the jetty to get to the resort while the staff waited for more people to arrive. Not ideal and I nearly asked to get a taxi to the resort it took so long. Once we were underway the experience was a good one. The evening entertainment was also very good and better than some of the other resorts. All in all this resort hits all the right spots. Great staff, amazing food and very good service You will not regret visiting this resort. Sandals 2.0 is just outstanding

I am a loyal Sandals Customer for years and I absolutely love this brand. I only have 2 Islands left to visit, St.Vincent & Turks and Caicos. Well this trip is St. Vincent for 7 days, and where I always get asked which Sandals/which island is better, I honestly love them all for different reasons. And Sandals, they way they handle their business at all of them, makes it really hard to not like all of them. St. Vincent is flat out GORGEOUS!! It is nested between the mountains and lush greenery. The mountains actually have an active rainforest, no worries, other than the normal Carribean light showers off and on (dependent on season), the rain never came down to bother us, but I looks so beautiful to see it. Our room - excellent (Beachfront Villa Butler Suite with media room and private pool). It actually has more than that (too much to type)😩😍. The resort and all amenities (including pools, especially one of the longest pools I’ve seen, longer than an Olympic size). The food and restaurants AMAZING, the Staff and Butlers AMAZING, the entertainment department, staff, and shows AMAZING, the Scuba and all the Scuba crew AMAAAZING !! I’m coming back FOR SURE! You need to book this trip! -Big AL (room 2102) 👍🏽😎

I will admit that this getaway was planned to fit a multitude of requirements. Having a balanced perspective, allow me to explain that this review is for a more season traveler who is looking for a resort experience. With this being the newest Sandals Resorts and meeting all of my requirements - I took the plunge. And once again, Sandals did not disappoint with its location. However, please keep in mind it is an hour drive from the airport (your driver can make the time fly - which you may or may not have control over) Service, staff, room and amenities were fine. 1. Public Facilities: The facilities were some of the best I have seen. Staff were constantly reviewing the grounds in what I can only describe as 'Disney level concern'. There wasn't areas that felt neglected, worn or overlooked. The lobby is open and gives a wonderful view of the pools and beach area. Sandals staff greeted us with near song in their mouths and warmth in their handling. The greeting room as was actually quite large and accommodating even though there were multiple parties checking in. As I indicated, ALL grounds were about as immaculate as can be expected. And the aroma reminded my wife and I of fragrance garden. An added benefit was lack of feeling overrun my mosquitoes or biting flies. Now this is the raining season so the in speaking with the executive staff I was advised the property was at about 40% capacity. Thus, the property never felt crowded... but it wasn't a ghost town either. As you walk past the lobby - your able to see the various pools, bars, cabanas and buildings. In additional the the main pool, there's a heart shape pool as well as smaller pools and hot-tubs. I observed the staff checking the chemical levels of the pools and it showed their level of care as each pool hut-tub was always clean and pleasant, not overly chlorinated or cloudy. Of course, Beach towels are provided upon request and are plentiful. Walking the property provides the views of the mountains of St. Vincent as the resort is clearly built into a large cove. This does allow for some beautiful views. The beach is well maintained small bay. This gives you the advantage of avoided large waves and permits watersports of kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, snorkeling, and small craft sailing. Please do not expect crystal clear or blue waters or pink sand ... rather you're presented with a clean beach and waters that and inviting. 2. Private Quarters Our room was a top floor ocean-view. Remembering that the nature layout of topography means you have a cove ... you actually do have a ocean view past the bay. Moreover, the views of the mountainside were beautiful to see as well. The room was well designed with thought of wood cabinetry along a wall covering the wet bar, the closets, safe and storage areas. The bathroom was large with antique style soaking tub along with a very large walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. The balcony was well set back - the rain never came into too far even with the wind pushing it. The balcony also had a large soaking tub which beckoned us with relaxing sunset times. 3. Staff This is one of the few times and resorts where I could not point to a single individual who did not make every effort to make out time special. Everyone we encountered was warm and welcoming. Smiles, service and concerns for our happiness were all that we were met with. They were opportunities to simply chit-chat with them and in-turn they took time to ensure are needs were being met. 3. Services Room service staff was responsive to the electronic system of whether we wanted service or privacy via a keypad and light set up (you select Privacy or Service). This worked well ... if you remembered to light up the 'Service' light when you wanted service as the staff would not even knock on the door in the 'Privacy' light was lit. The service was top notch and if you advised them, the staff sought to address your needs or issues. 4. Location As mentioned above, the resort is built into a cove. You're not next to other resorts or able to just walk off the resort and appreciate the local area or even the locals themselves. You're able to see as you're driven - you are pretty much secluded from the local neighborhood. 5. On-sight Restaurants/Bars: Scrimshaw - This is a traditional seafood restaurant though it may become your go to if you're not early birds able to get to the buffet breakfast at Sora. Parisol Beach Club - Was your traditional burgers and what not. It's bar was a good place to sit an sip on your beverages and it provides seaside views. Buccan - This is their family-style traditional Caribbean restaurant. It does require a reservation. We actually did not have dinner there (but based on the preparations of the Jerk Shack - we have no doubts the food would be tasty and plentiful. Imoro - This is where we quickly learned was the best salad and healthy green bowls and drinks. Their omelets made starting the day easy. Isola Pizzeria - This was a smaller lunch place. We quickly found out they make delicious hand made to order pizzas. Butch's Island Chop House - This is their traditional steakhouse. The atmosphere was upscale as expected. The food was prepared EXACTLY as we specified - Amazing. Not only did that surprise us, we could customize dishes mix and matching appetizers, entrées and deserts. As with their brand, kitchen too the time to consider the plating and it is actually better than what you'd expect. Gatsu Gatsu - This is their Japanese Sushi restaurant. Yes, the atmosphere was pleasantly muted and the food was well prepared, plated and tasted great. They had an excellent selection of saké and saké derived drinks. Sora - The is where the breakfast buffet is located and at night it is an Italian restaurant with great dishes providing pasta and pasta alternative dishes. Blum and Crema - are coffee houses with both ice cream and expressos a plenty. 6. Excursions None this time. However, I always scuba dive and Vanessa was a wonderful dive master to follow and she kept me smiling across all of my dives. Overall I will definitely state that Sandals St. Vincent pretty much exceeded our expectations. This should not be seen or considered as a 'budget location' - but the adage that you get what you pay for - means that you WILL FEEL that you spent your money very wisely.

We booked this trip to celebrate our 16th anniversary! Resort is beautiful and would definitely come back again. Scenery is beyond gorgeous, resort is set in the valley and you are surrounded by lush mountains, tropical plants and a gorgeous beach view. A couple shout outs to some excellent service members at the resort ! Alron- aka Batman. He took us on a private snorkel, extremely patient and very attentive. 100% recommend asking for "Batman" for all your Sandals excursions. Jerod with Island Routes was the man! Even though weather conditions weren't the best he still tried to makeoir hike to the volcano the best experience possible. So knowledgeable and polite! Shoutout to Daniel as well for getting us to and from our checkpoints ! Ken- Manager @ Sora Restaurant Randy- Waitstaff @ Sora Restaurant Randy and Ken were absolutely amazing! We had dinner at Sora the night before we hiked up to the volcano. Besides the perfect service at dinner, they offered to have breakfast delivered before all the restaurants were open and delivered it ON TIME. Highly recommend this resort, every aspect was amazing. Staff members at every bar, restaurant were super respectful, everyone said hello when they passed by! I sure wish all Americans could come here and learn how to be thankful and not entitled..Sandals again lived up to its brand. We will be back.

We had the most incredible honeymoon at Sandals St. Vincent! The resort was incredible. The food was delicious at every restaurant, the rooms were so clean and the entire experience was so relaxing from start to finish. What truly made our trip unforgettable were two amazing employees — Omali “the one and only” and Darri! Their friendliness, energy, and genuine care went above and beyond. They truly made our stay special.

A First for Saint Vincent—and for Sandals

This is Sandals’ first resort in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a nation known for its volcanic black sand beaches, lush rainforests, and vibrant coral reefs. By building in a secluded cove far from the usual tourist trails, Sandals has created an intimate retreat where eco-luxury meets barefoot romance.

The resort features innovative overwater bungalows, an overwater wedding chapel, and sleek, modern architecture that blends beautifully into the natural surroundings.

What Makes It Special

Here’s what sets Sandals Saint Vincent apart from every other Sandals resort:

1. Black-Sand Beaches

Most Caribbean beaches are white or golden—this one’s different. The dramatic black-sand coastline, backed by lush mountains and swaying palms, gives this destination a uniquely exotic vibe.

2. Unspoiled, Authentic Island

You won’t find cruise ports or mega resorts here. Instead, you’ll explore local fishing villages, hidden waterfalls, and protected reefs full of sea life. It’s the Caribbean before mass tourism.

3. World-Class Accommodations

Guests can choose from:

  • Overwater Villas with glass floor panels and direct ocean access
  • Beachfront Skypool Suites
  • Lagoon Walkouts that connect straight to the pool

Every room features the Tranquility Soaking Tub for Two™, 24-hour room service, and fully stocked in-room bars.

Dining & Amenities

Foodies will love the resort’s 12 gourmet restaurants, offering everything from fresh island seafood to international fusion. Plus, guests staying in Butler Elite suites receive a $250 dining credit to explore local restaurants—a unique perk that encourages you to connect with Vincentian culture.

Other highlights include:

  • Two-level infinity pool overlooking the bay
  • Red Lane® Spa with jungle-inspired treatments
  • Unlimited scuba diving and watersports
  • Boat excursions to the nearby Tobago Cays—an uninhabited island paradise known for sea turtle encounters

Getting There

Sandals Saint Vincent is just a 40-minute transfer from Argyle International Airport (SVD). While it feels secluded, the travel is relatively easy—especially for travelers from the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

✈️ Pro Tip: Many guests fly through Barbados or Saint Lucia and take a quick connecting flight into Saint Vincent.

Who It’s Best For

Sandals Saint Vincent is ideal for:

  • Couples seeking seclusion and nature
  • Honeymooners who want something different
  • Repeat Sandals guests looking for a fresh destination
  • Eco-conscious travelers who love low-impact luxury

If you’ve already visited places like Sandals Grenada or Sandals South Coast and want a resort with a similar peaceful vibe but new scenery—this is your spot.

Ready to Explore?

Sandals Saint Vincent offers a rare blend of luxury, authenticity, and natural beauty that’s hard to find anywhere in the Caribbean. Whether you’re planning a honeymoon, anniversary trip, or a well-deserved escape, this new resort promises tranquility, adventure, and world-class service.
