OK so first thing to say is that we are not normally " all inclusive " type of travellers . We don't drink much and are not hugely adventurous eaters either, so not the normal Sandals type customers really . So while it was lovely and enjoyable...it's probably more suited to those people who love this kind of holiday. I am being very honest with this review in the hope it's useful to other travellers. Firstly what we loved about the place . It's beautiful, there is no denying Jamaica looks stunning and the resort is fantastically presented and maintained. The staff were always friendly and plentiful. The drinks were fabulous..lots of variety and the cocktails in particular were awesome ( I'd recommend a Bob Marley to anyone...even if it's not listed on the menu ) The highlight of everything for me was the room ...beautiful, comfortable and with a swim up terrace to a lovely warm, quiet pool . The bathtub on the balcony was lovely too , but I think the privacy curtains on our terrace could have been longer and maybe fastened better, we used the tie backs to fashion a way to keep them closed in the wind . The room was always immaculately kept and cleaned by Roseanne and when we ran out of shower gel , she got us more when we asked . The drinks in the room were always replenished, including sparkling wine, everyday . I also loved the beach and in particular the private island . The clothing optional beach was the quietest and most beautiful. We also went out snuba diving and this was also brilliant and our guide ( I believe think his name was Mikos? ) was lovely and helpful....this did however come with an additional charge of $125 pp. This leads me on to what we weren't keen on during the stay ....the extra costs . There was a seemingly never ending array of people asking us for extras ...from the souvenir sellers who also offer you drugs to the offer of expensive wines , even more expensive spa treatments or payable photographs too . My understanding was there was to be no tipping at Sandals, so we didn't bring any cash , yet the baggage guy at the airport , the driver , the boat captain all asked for tips and we felt bad because we didn't have anything to give . I know American culture is more geared towards tipping than us Brits so others were more prepared for this , and we would have been if we'd known this was going to be asked . Overall, the place is geared to an American audience and the staff seemed much more friendly towards the Americans than us , not saying they weren't friendly , but the Americans certainly seemed to get much more banter and better service than we did . We had some brilliant service at times...Fabian in the pub was consistently lovely , Ruschel at the pool bar was brilliant and the lady in the Indian restaurant was also superb , unfortunately we didn't catch her name , overall the service was very good and the addition of being given a hospitality room after we checked out so we could freshen up and change before our flight was a brilliant bonus ......however we did have a few issues . The main one was with our credit card . It was declined several times when trying to add it to our room . Club Sandals didn't seem particularly bothered and suggested we try and ring our bank . We did that ( at expensive additional phone costs ) to be told it was all fine , we just need to use chip and pin and not swipe . We told this to reception who told us the chip and pin machines don't work and we'd just have to pay as we go ( how we'd do this I never know ) ...not very helpful at all . And Club Sandals again let us down when I asked if the tv in our room could connect to the smart services like YouTube and Netflix as they didn't seem to work ....we were told " no they won't work " , no reason for this ...and later on when I tried fiddling with it myself , I managed to connect them perfectly...it was as if they just couldn't be bothered to help us . Same with our luggage when we checked in . We were told it would be put in our room when we arrived ....after half an hour waiting for a change of clothes , I just went and grabbed it from reception myself - as I offered to do at the start. I think I should mention the food as well ....it was good . Just good , nothing exceptional apart from the local Jamaican food . The jerk chicken shack and in particular the patties were stunning. The day to day food was OK, breakfast was plentiful but nothing special, only cooked to order omelettes were very good, the rest was just average and the fact that we had to hunt daily for cutlery was really poor . I mean , why not just have a plie put out for people to take? You shouldn't have to go and find someone every morning and be directed to another part of the resort to ASK for silverware. One morning I didnt even get a spoon ... have you ever tried eating cornflakes with a fork ? The 2 restaurants that stood out were the Indian ( different from British Indian food ) but excellent quality and service. And the French restaurant food was also excellent. The Italian, British, pizza and grill snacks were all a decent standard but not excellent. Overall every dessert we had was disappointing. Ranging from bland to inedible in the case of the apple crumble . I did like the DIY ice cream behind the pool bar though. Lastly , the entertainment was disappointing too .Aside from the activities like jewellery making and wood ornament painting, which my wife really enjoyed and the very windy pool table which was funny trying to play on.....the evening events were pretty stale .....Yes, the singers could sing , but it was very minimal effort and several technical issues with the mics etc didn't help ...and just a tip...if you're going to do a " Broadway night " ...put some actual Broadway numbers in there. There was not one tune recognisable as a song from a musical. All in all....this was a lovely holiday . Wonderful setting , beautiful sea, pools and cocktails. Friendly staff ( mostly ) and if you're big into all inclusive resorts , you'll probably be hard pushed to beat it . But for me , it was a little wasted and a few minor problems took the shine off a little . Hope this honest review is of use to fellow travellers.

So this is the fifth time coming to this resort. My wife and I love this place. One of best parts is Danielle and Melissa our butlers. They go above and beyond any expectations we had what butlers would do. If you go ask for them and your trip will be the best. We stayed in the new rooms with the infinity pool on the 4th floor. You will not be disappointed in them.

We had a nice time. We had some issues while we were there with the AC not working in our room on 2 separate nights (cutting out after midnight) and having to call maintenance. One night they came and another they never showed after the initial call and didn't answer when we called them repeatedly after the no-show. Was resolved in the morning. Restaurants are excellent. The manager did take care of us because of the AC issue. This is an older property.

Relaxing resort. Lacking in entertainment. Beach is small but nice. Room was small and dated and construction going on at our room from 6am to after 10pm was uncalled for and a huge distraction. Lots of little mishaps that is not the norm for sandals . We had hired a private transfer and while waiting we discovered they were not letting him through security even though all credentials were in order and kept trying to put us in a sandals private car at a charge. That was kinda shady. We had heard they had done this to a few other guest and had even made guest walk from the gate back to the resort at after 11pm because they hired an outside car service. I've been to many Sandals and never had this issue.

Topping the list is Sandals Royal Caribbean, the original overwater bungalow resort in the Sandals portfolio—and still the gold standard. Located in Montego Bay, it features a heart-shaped dock that has become iconic for honeymoons and proposals.

These luxurious bungalows offer:

  • Butler Elite service trained to the Guild of Professional Butlers
  • Private plunge pools and Tranquility Soaking Tubs
  • Glass floor panels and overwater hammocks
  • Private BMW transfers and a dedicated water taxi

This resort delivers an unmatched blend of service, romance, and amenities. It’s the best of Sandals butler service and tropical opulence in one perfect package.

Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort & Private Island is one of the most idyllic resorts in Jamaica, boasting an elegant British heritage led by the Georgian-style Great House. Touted as “Jamaica’s Most Alluring Resort,” it’s on the smaller side, so it’s less exhausting to explore. Popular activities apart from watersports are afternoon tea times and games of croquet.

It also boasts its own offshore private island — and that’s where you can find Bali-inspired amenities. It has a pool, beach, cabanas, and the most beautiful overwater bungalows Jamaica has to offer.

One of the go-to restaurants here is Royal Thai serving authentic Thai cuisine that complements the island’s tropical views well. And just in case you want to know it, a portion of the island is a nude beach.

But setting all that aside, your trip is already worth every buck when you get to live (at least for a few days) over fine azure waters. You don’t even have to step outside to see such magnificent views because the bungalow has glass floors. You can relax in the freestanding tub or hammock on its patio with your loved one.

Note that Sandals Montego Bay is conveniently accessible to this resort. So if you want to expand your amenities, activities, and food choices, you can arrange a quick drive to its sister resort.

We stayed in the overwater bungalows with butler service and it was so very worth the expense! Earnie and Leon took amazing care of us with attention to every detail helping us celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and my husband’s 60th birthday. Earnie predicted our needs even before we knew what we needed! Romance was added to every detail. Highly recommend the excursion of reading with the local school kids! Was a great way to learn a bit of the local culture and of course the kids!! The omelet station masters were amazing too! Wish I remembered their names!

This is the review of our vacation at Sandals South Coast, May 31 – June 14, 2025. This 14-day vacation was extremely enjoyable and very relaxing. Last year, we were there for 19 days and, despite of the island being “hit” by Hurricane Beryl during our stay, all employees, starting with the GM and HM, performed superbly. This one was even better as the weather cooperated, and “our” room had been remodeled! When we arrived, we were recognized immediately by almost all employees, which made us feel as we were home! Things got off on the right foot as soon as we arrived at Sangster International Airport and we were received by the representative of Club MoBay, Ruth-Ann. She was very professional, yet friendly, and helped get us through the airport in less than 10 minutes! Our complimentary driver to the resort, Ian York, was just as professional, friendly, and informative during our 90-minute drive. Thanks to both Ruth-Ann and Ian! Once we arrived at Sandals South Coast, the staff sang for us, welcoming us to the resort. Great start! After the weekend, we were welcomed by General Manager O’Brian Heron, Hotel Manager Alicia Mullings, and Operations Manager Kemar Russie. They were very happy to see us again and gave us the “royal” treatment. Likewise, the staff of the Loyalty and Travel office, led by Trisean Wright, was, as always, amazing. Thanks to Trisean, Odene, and others in the office. Also amazing was the Chief Butler, Ricardo, as were our butlers Jermaine Watson and Makare Barnes. Our butlers really spoiled us! They were simply amazing! For that reason, we asked them to be the butlers for my wife’s sister and her husband, arriving a week after we did, and they gladly accepted. This was the first Sandals vacation for them, and they were really spoiled. The butlers and all personnel met their every need! Because of our long stay, we had the opportunity to visit and eat at all the restaurants and, without fail, everyone on the staff was very professional and friendly. They surely made our stay very enjoyable! Our thanks to Myoka (Jerk Shack), and to Richard (Schooner’s, I think). Richard invited us to try a cucumber cooler which was delicious and exactly what we needed. Additionally we met Careka & Teveena (Giuseppes); Tamieka and Alisa (Schooner’s breakfast); Joanna, Kimberly, and Garcia (Eleanor’s); Atiba, Kimberly, Cleon, Jekil, and Chrystal (Schooner’s breakfast); Izodale, Lorenzo, and Malik (Neptunes Bar); Izodale (also Martini Bar); Shaniel (Jasmine’s), Shaneka, Jekil, Chrystal, and Talita (Schooner’s breakfast); Shanika also at Schooner’s Bar; Natasha, Anika, and Cleon (Schooner’s); Shaniel and Nekiesha (Elenor’s Breakfast); Alicia (Neptune’s); Asheka and Nicolas (Eleanor’s); Dennis (Martini Bar); Malik and Chuck (Neptune’s Bar); Lynca (Eleanor’s); Adrian (Giuseppe’s); Ramos, Tajay, Ramoy, and Vanishing Lee (Sushi on the Sand). They were all amazing, and there are many others whose names I did not write. The staff of the Epix Photo was equally helpful and professional. Our thanks to Gerald McLean and Alecia Murray. They were both very friendly and professional. As always, the entertainment was amazing. Kudos to Rory Frankson, the Jamaican Tenor, who was simply spectacular, as was singer Meloray at the Welcome Home dinner! All the shows at Le Cabaret were very entertaining. Kudos to all members of the Steel Birds band as they were also amazing! Francois, the singer at the Martini Bar was also outstanding and very friendly. We had two private boat cruises. Koil (boat Captain) and Demane (Crewmember) took care of the first one, while Oliver (boat Captain) and Fuggy (Crewmember) led us the second time. These cruises were breathtaking! During the first cruise, we had a dolphin lead us for a while, and that was quite an experience! During the second, we were treated with an amazing sunset! The staff of the Red Lane spa was amazing, and our thanks to Claudia and Cardella who gave us two very relaxing treatments. When we left them, we were very relaxed and renewed. The housekeeping staff were just as courteous and helpful. Thanks to Taeise, Camile, Jada, Clevoi, Tamesha, Anneka, and Radcliffe for all they did to make us feel better to go to our room. The grounds were well maintained, and all the groundkeepers we encountered were very courteous to us. We did talk to two of them on several occasions, Rodney and Kevin, who exemplified the commitment and professionalism of all of them. Going back to the airport, our driver was Shaun Murray, and he was as professional, friendly and informative and Ian was! Going back, it took us less than 20 minutes to get through the airport, so we had time to relax at Club MoBay until our departure from Jamaica. Worth noting is that before we left, we booked our 7th future vacation at Sandals, and five of those will be at South Coast! We love this resort! Our apologies for not listing the names of more Sandals South Coast employees, but, without exception, all of them were very helpful, professional, friendly, and always willing to do whatever it took to make our vacation very enjoyable. And again, our thanks to those who lead by example: General Manager O’Brian Heron, Hotel Manager Alicia Mullings, and Operations Manager Kemar Russie. It was obvious to us that all employees of Sandals South Coast follow their outstanding example, and it makes our vacations, and the vacations of others, more enjoyable, relaxing, and make us anxious to go back!

My wife and I went to South Coast for our 49th wedding anniversary with my daughter and new son-in -law. We went Reunion Week and found that there was lots to do for seniors and the kids were also very satisfied with the amenities! Pickle ball and kayaking for seniors and gym, tennis and snuba diving with mask and air hose. Food was very good. 3 different pools, main, sports and quiet pool. The only disappointment was the whirlpool was under repair. The staff is very accommodating and friendly! Any issues solved quickly. We had a none working hair dryer. The landscaping was awesome and flowed nicely throughout the resort. We felt comfortable going on late night walks. Rooms were well maintained as were the buildings. I would recommend the private car to and from resort. We had David Robertson as our driver and he gave us a condensed history in our hour transit. Our final comment I would make is that Royal Barbados was our favorite Sandals until now. I would say that South Coast is tied with Royal Barbados. Not going to say I booked South Coast for next year, as we are trying to see as many Sandals as possible. Well done, Sandals. We are hoping to do Bahamas next year.

I recently returned from South Coast and finally have time to sit down and write this review. I have so much to say but I’ll try not to make it too long! I’ve tried to remember as many names as possible but do want to say that every single person we encountered was friendly and treated us like family. This was a birthday trip I’d planned for my husband. This was not our first time booking with Sandals, but it was our first time visiting the South Coast property. It quickly became our favorite. We stayed for 6 nights. We booked our flights ourselves. Of course, the flight got delayed, then canceled the morning of our trip. There were no more flights available until the following day. Rescheduling with the airline was easy. Calling Sandals and informing them of the change, plus adding an extra day to our stay, was incredibly easy. Everyone I talked to was very understanding and calm, which helped me stop stressing so much about it. It was also easy to reschedule our private transfer to and from the resort. It didn’t take long to go through customs, and we didn’t wait long in the lounge. Jason was our driver for the private transfer to the resort. We learned a lot of facts about the area from him. We also had some delicious snacks and wine in the car. Due to the length of the commute from the airport, there’s also an opportunity for a rest stop along the way. Upon our arrival, everyone was so nice and welcoming, and they even sang for my husband’s birthday. We arrived around lunch time and got something to eat while the room was being prepared. We both really liked our room. It was more than enough space for the two of us and whenever we took a break from the sun we hung out on the balcony. We ate our breakfast there every morning. The bed was super comfortable and I swear I fell asleep almost immediately every time I got in it. I also loved the tub. I wish I had one like it at home. My husband compared it to a cereal bowl because it was pretty deep and there was a little ledge to sit on. Our butlers were Clive and Recardo. This was our second time choosing butler level for booking but it felt like our first time because our last trip was interrupted by a hurricane after the first day. My husband and I are pretty laid back and easy to please. We also tend to handle things ourselves and were trying to find a good balance in terms of how much we called upon Clive and Recardo, so it took us a few days to start getting comfortable with making requests. I could tell Recardo had read the preferences I submitted because he quoted some of the things I wrote word for word. He was also very particular about making sure all parties knew about my nut allergy with every meal, which I appreciate. He even brought some local food to our room one day, which made my husband soooo happy; I’d written in the preferences that he loves local food. Oh, and I’d also mentioned that I love pineapples/pineapple juice. There was a bottle of pineapple juice in our cooler every morning. We stayed hydrated of course but had some great drinks too. Clive introduced us to some drinks we hadn’t had before, like the lemon popsicle. Also, every menu item that Clive recommended at the restaurants was on point. You can definitely trust his judgment. It was also great to talk to him and watch him joke around with my husband. We ate so much! We enjoyed every meal we had. The only thing I tried that I wasn’t the biggest fan of was one of the rolls at Sushi on the Sand, only because it had a lot of mayo on it. I think the only place we didn’t eat at during our stay was Neptune’s. I would recommend making reservations early for the restaurants that require it. Some of the food we enjoyed includes the fish in foil at the Jerk Shack, the seafood bisque and swordfish steak at Schooners, the curried mutton at Eleanors, and the pollo alla parmigiana at Giuseppe’s. My favorite breakfast items were the salmon eggs benedict and the Caribbean shrimp omelet. As for signature drinks, I think Sushi on the Sand and Jasmine’s had the best ones. Oh, and my favorite dessert was the tiramisu at Giuseppe’s. My husband was hooked on the crepes from Café de Paris and the spicy chicken sandwich and jerk fries from Chick’N Dippers to the point that it became a running joke. There was one day where Clive even brought him two sandwiches for lunch and his favorite crepe as a snack. Now I have to learn how to make crepes at home. The spa was great! We did the Scents of Love couples massage, which I highly recommend. Thank you to Tiona H. and Amoy B. for the experience! My husband enjoyed the massage enough that he did a different one two days later while I got a pedicure. I think Tiona did his second massage. Shout out to Kerisha M. for the pedicure! I usually dislike having my feet touched but she did such a great job and made me so comfortable that now I’m considering getting it done more often. I had a ton of questions (I don’t know much about skincare beyond the basics) and she answered all of them. Also, Amit in the luxury shop was good to talk to and had some great recommendations for jewelry and watches. We also stopped by the gift shop and everyone there was friendly too. I said all this and neglected to mention the beach! We are more beach people than pool people, so we were out on the beach for several hours at a time every day. It was so peaceful and everyone seemed to just be doing their own thing and relaxing. That was the exact kind of vibe we were hoping for. I took a few videos while sitting out there and everyone I’ve shown them to cannot believe how peaceful it was. Overall, we had a fantastic time. My husband said it was his best birthday ever, so mission accomplished. And as dramatic as this may sound, we both feel like this trip has changed us as people. We’re looking at life a lot differently now and can’t wait to return. We’ve already booked the next trip (thank you, Christen F.!) and look forward to seeing everyone and having a good time again. We’ll see y’all next year!

Sandals South Coast offers overwater bungalows with an adventurous edge. It’s perfect for couples who want romance with a side of adrenaline—think scuba diving, snorkeling, and even sailing all included.

Highlights include:

  • Infinity-edge plunge pools and outdoor showers
  • All-inclusive water sports and land activities
  • Romantic over-the-water chapel and sprawling beach

This resort offers great value for those seeking both luxury and activity. For budget-conscious travelers, it’s often ranked among the cheapest Sandals resorts for the overwater category—without sacrificing quality.

It’s not only overwater bungalows Caribbean that you can find on Sandals South Coast. They also have other over-the-water structures like a chapel and a bar. All these amenities will bring you closer to Jamaica’s perfectly blue southern waters.

This adults-only resort is set along two miles of mesmerizing waters. Though it’s located some distance from the airport, you can enjoy it better because it’s more secluded than other resorts.

Sandals South Coast is situated on a private nature reserve. What does it entail? You’ll be surrounded by lush greenery and breathe in more refreshing winds. You also have more on-land activities to choose from.

But if you’re more of a beach person, you have a long stretch of private coastline to enjoy. Their over-the-water amenities are a testament to the resort’s belief in the power of water. You can bask in serenity, rejuvenate your mind, and appreciate life better when you get that close to the ocean.

Because their awesome bungalows are made for two people, it’s not hard to see why the resort is named one of the Caribbean’s leading honeymoon resorts. You can still spend quality time with your partner even when you’re in the pool — after all, they’re home to one of the largest swimming pools on the island.

Want to explore beyond this all-inclusive resort? Sandals offers guests a convenient trip to YS Falls, a seven-tiered waterfall and one of Jamaica’s most magnificent gems.

We are returnees to the Sandals brand, many times over, but this was our first trip to The Grande. It's a long 1.5 hour taxi ride from the airport. But you soon forget that once you reach the resort. The resort is on the Peninsula, so your room will generally face the Atlantic or the Caribbean sea. Loved our room, which looked over the Atlantic. Spacious, clean. Problem with the shower, which eventually got sorted. The food is wonderful. We did have a few niggles with some of the restaurants that you have to book. But the staff go out of their way to try and make sure you are happy. The shows in the evening are exceptional. Singing, dancing and even fire eaters. Amazing. As with all the resorts, not easy to get a bed on the beach with shade, if you turn up after 10-11ish. The butlers will get in first, then the early birds will claim their beds then go off to breakfast or even back to bed! A bug bare of mine is people who have finished on the beach, but don't remove their towels, so that someone else can be sure that no one is using that bed. A bed reserved by a butler, wasn't used for 2 days!! The resort is large. But there are so many restaurants and bars. It is well set out. There are games going on by the big pool each day. We are divers, and go every day. It's our thing and we love it. The dive boat is at the resort, so no jumping on a minibus to get to the boat. Mon to Sat. there are 2 tank dives in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Sunday is 1 tank dive only. All equipment is available unless you want to bring your own. The crew are second to none. Safety is their priority. Any problems and they are there. Happy, helpful, just great. They took us to different reefs/wrecks. So much life down there. Met some great people on the boat. Thank you Torrell, Rusty, Ken, Kerney, Marcus, Martin, Stingray and all the other guys and gals at the dive centre. You made our holiday great. We loved this resort. Had a great 2 weeks stay and will certainly be returning.

My husband and I stayed at Sandals Grande for our honeymoon. We had an incredible experience and would recommend this resort to honeymooners or any couple looking for an all-inclusive experience. We stayed in the Caribbean Walkout Deluxe and felt the room was well maintained and spacious! We enjoyed all of the restaurants but especially enjoyed our experience at Soy Sushi restaurant. We got two massages during our stay. We had only planned for one massage, but our masseuses Albertha and Juliana were so wonderful that we decided to book a second massage with them. We recommend both the scents of love and the tropical paradise massages! We spent every day by the main pool. Nevil, Cassius, and the entire playmaker team kept us happily entertained with bingo, trivia, and mixology contests. A special thank you to the bartenders Francis and Peter for keeping us well hydrated at the pool bar! We enjoyed our time getting to know you at the bar while you shared your specialty drinks with us. (We miss the Peter special and Berry Berry already) Our only recommendation, which is not a flaw of the resort, would be to look into helicopter transportation between the airport and resort. Sandals provides a free shuttle service which was clean and reliable, but we would forgo the two hour shuttle ride for the helicopter ride in the future. Thank you to the entire team at Sandals Grande St. Lucian for an unforgettable vacation. We hope to visit again.

Stayed here for a friends wedding. I enjoyed our stay here. All Inclusive Sandals resort. Transport to and from the resort was spot on. They even stop at a view and shop to get some refreshments. Loved the activities like the catamaran, snorkeling and diving. Good food and drink selections so you wont get bored of the offerings within a week. They will try to cater to you dietary needs if you communicate it to them. You can eat at the 2 other Sandals (with transportation) on the island is a great bonus. Rooms are well kept and clean. Some halls had frayed carpet and painted plywood over the HVAC service panels. But this is an island nation and the logistics of keeping a building pristine in the Caribbean are difficult and costly. Love the swim up bar. Music form the pool area can be an issue is you are looking for quiet, so book you room accordingly. But is does quiet after 10 pm. Wedding Service from the hotel was great. We had any issues that pop up dealt with by staff appropriately. I don't think most people would be disappointed staying here. I'd definably return.

Located on a narrow peninsula in Saint Lucia, Sandals Grande St. Lucian delivers jaw-dropping views and a tranquil experience. Its overwater bungalows are ideal for couples seeking serenity and scenery.

What sets it apart:

  • Panoramic Caribbean Sea views
  • Private Tranquility Soaking Tubs on the deck
  • Access to two other Sandals resorts via complimentary shuttle

Perched on its own peninsula, Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort is the place to be if you want an unobstructed 360-view of the stunning Caribbean Sea and Rodney Bay. Throughout St. Lucia — an island found between the Caribbean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean — this is the only resort to have overwater bungalows.

These cleverly designed accommodations give you direct access to the calmest waters in all of Jamaica. However, it’s not just the bungalow’s location that’s appealing. Sandals have overwater bungalows with excellent personal butler services, access to premium liquors, and unlimited food from 12 gourmet restaurants.

While Sandals overwater bungalows let you enjoy a unique stay in the Caribbean, the resort has more to offer. If you’re a golf lover, you’ll be delighted to know they have a golf course designed by no other than golf legend Greg Norman. Sandals Golf Club at Sandals Regency La Toc is a nearby golf course. And green fees and roundtrip shuttles for both are already included in the cost of your stay.

The other two Sandals resorts in St. Lucian — Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort & Spa and Sandals Halcyon St. Lucia — are also within cost-effective reach. When you avail of their Stay at One, Play at Three Exchange Program, you can stay at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian and access the amenities of its sister resorts.

The resort is also located near the Pigeon Island National Landmark. It will be a quick escape if you want to take a break from the waters.

Omalie

Omalie made our experience amazing. He always made us smile and laugh and got me up on the drums with the live band two nights in a row. Great guy and a pleasure to be around.

We just came back from our Honeymoon and absolutely loved our stay at Sandals St. Vincent! This hotel is a true 5*. The staff, food, facilities and general vibes were amazing. Myself and partner felt spoilt from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the resort. If you’re debating on if it’s worth the money, then it definitely is!!! Only advice would be if you want to do any of the free snorkelling activities then book these day 1 as they get booked up (the app / reception staff didn’t make this clear)

First Sandals Experience did not disappoint. Butlers were over the top. Best resort for being unplugged. Food was great and the friendliness of the entire staff was surprising. We stayed in a butler suite and Randell, Vashica, and Olivia went over and above to make sure our stay was incredible. We were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary and on our last night they surprised by setting up easels to paint (my wife is an artist) and our bedroom had balloons and rose petals. We went in June and did experience rain daily, but not enough to ruin our stay. The resort is intimate and if you want a place to unplug and be pampered this is your spot. If you want lively action and noise, then you probably would enjoy as much. There are many activities and excursions, but we simply moved from, the pool to the beach. There were several occasions especially late afternoon when we had the infinity pool to ourself as we watched the incredible sunsets. We already booked our next year’s trip to St Lucia. The bar has been set high so hoping our experience next year is great too.

Why Book A Sandals Overwater Bungalow

Sandals’ overwater bungalows masterfully blend the rustic charm of traditional palapa-style architecture with the sleek comforts of modern luxury. Inspired by the design of classic nipa huts, these bungalows are built with innovative construction techniques to deliver an exceptional, over-the-sea experience.

One of the standout features is the “sea-through” glass floor panels, allowing you to admire the crystal-clear Caribbean waters beneath your feet — morning, noon, and night. Inside, you’ll find a spa-style bathroom, a plush king-size bed, and thoughtful details designed for relaxation and romance.

Step outside onto your private deck and soak in the tropical beauty from a Tranquility Soaking Tub for two — a luxurious freestanding tub with panoramic ocean views. Or sway gently in the over-the-water hammock, perfectly positioned for sunset gazing and stargazing.

The personalized butler service, included with every stay, sets these bungalows apart. Trained to the elite standards of the Guild of Professional Butlers, your butler will anticipate your needs, from drawing a bubble bath to delivering champagne under the stars, ensuring your stay is seamless and indulgent.

Your stay also includes access to unlimited gourmet dining and premium beverages across the resort. Inside your bungalow, the fully stocked minibar offers water, soda, juice, local beers, and Robert Mondavi Twin Oaks wines. And for coffee lovers, every room features a coffee maker with Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend — one of the most sought-after coffees in the world.

From floating hammocks to five-star service, Sandals’ overwater bungalows redefine the meaning of all-inclusive Caribbean luxury — and they’re worth every penny.
