We’ve returned from our trip to Sandals Royal Caribbean (32 trips to Sandals, 5th time to SRC). Due to recent illness, we had to postpone our May trip, originally booked at a different resort. Shouts out to SSG for seamlessly rearranging our visit and the Concierge Desk at Royal Caribbean when we arrived as we.had questions about mobility issues and the room we had been assigned. They switched our room to another building which was extremely accessible and comfortable.
We spent to week lounging on the beach just relaxing
.
Cooper and Rayo were wonderful butlers.
Mauvette and Seroya at Mariner were great.
Nicola gave an excellent massage.
We did not encounter any rude employees.
I agree with some posts that we felt the food is not as good as it has been in past years, we enjoyed La Tavola.

This was a true vacation. Rest and relaxation. The room was great, the people were great, the facilities were great. I cannot leave a review without giving a huge shoutout to some people. Butlers Kenrick and Paul were excellent, entertainment was great, special thanks to Malike, Caliandra(Callie), and Shemar(Dr.Smooth) we taught them Rocky Top, Christopher and Alexis kept us hydrated. Rolando was the ultimate professional. Many others made this trip great and sadly I do not know their names. But Sandals Royal Caribbean is a great spot. When they say “Welcome home” they make it feel that way. Cannot wait to return. Thank you for a great week. Last thing, when you visit, participate in the events. These great people work hard to make your stay awesome and they deserve your attendance and participation.

My husband and I have been going to the Sandals brand since 2018. This was our 1st at SRC. SOOO close to the airport so you begin your stay right away! Beautiful small friendly resort. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were good. Our butlers, Cooper & Rayo made our trip feel like we were royalty! They went above and beyond for us! Checking to see if there anything we need, brining us drinks, coconut shrimp and even a surprise of coconut lobster!
They were able to get us into Butch's restaurant at SMB twice!!
Our room was nice Romeo & Juliet suite, only hitch as the AC was not working however a quick message thru GINA and our AC was fixed within 45 minutes.
Our favorite restaurant on site was the French restaurant Le Jardinier, Spices was our second and the Mariner beach was tied with the Jerk Shack for 3rd. We did not try The Royal Thai or Bombay for dinner as we do not enjoy Thai or Indian food. I did however enjoy Bombay's breakfast.
The only restaurant we did not really enjoy was the Italian La Tavola, it is outside and they were short on waitstaff, sat over 2 hours sweating & waiting for the food and there was no relief from the humidity, food was okay when it arrived.
Piano bar & Cricketeers are a must.
We loved our stay and will be back

If you’re dreaming of overwater bungalows in Jamaica, Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay is the ultimate destination. As the first Caribbean resort to debut these spectacular accommodations, it offers an exotic blend of British elegance and tropical indulgence — all just 15 minutes from Sangster International Airport.
Location
This adults-only, all-inclusive Sandals resort is set on the north coast of Jamaica. It’s perfectly positioned for easy access to the airport and popular attractions like Rose Hall Great House and Doctor’s Cave Beach.
Unique Dual-Resort Experience
Sandals Royal Caribbean is split between the main resort — with its regal, garden-lined pathways and British flair — and a private offshore island that brings Bali to the Caribbean. The island is accessible via a charming dragon boat and features its own private beach, swim-up bar, pool, and even an authentic Thai restaurant.
But the real showstopper? The overwater bungalows and villas. Suspended over crystal-clear waters, these luxurious hideaways come with see-through glass floor panels, private soaking tubs, overwater hammocks, and personalized Butler Elite service. The overwater villas go even further, offering private infinity pools and outdoor showers for the ultimate secluded retreat.
Amenities & Activities
Guests of the overwater accommodations enjoy exclusive in-room dining, but the resort also offers:
- 9 gourmet restaurants and 5 bars
- 8 pools and 6 whirlpools
- Complimentary scuba diving, snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, hobie cat sailing, and more
- Land sports including croquet, beach volleyball, and tennis
- A modern Red Lane® Spa and state-of-the-art fitness center
- Daily and nightly entertainment
Plus, thanks to the “Stay at 1, Play at 2” program, you can easily enjoy the amenities of nearby Sandals Montego Bay with complimentary shuttle service — doubling your dining and activity options.

Just had a wonderful 8 day stay at sandals south coast in the rondaval suite ( smurf village) this area was very tranquil and relaxing you did not feel like you you were at a resort while at your room.
The resort though was very well maintained, the gardens were amazing and the grounds team were always working in the gardens and amazing people to talk too.
The entertainment team at south coast was great, they have multiple shows though out the week and do a great job of welcoming you at the beach party a special thanks to Daniella and Kennardo they made us feel like we had known them for years and made the beach party a blast.
The only thing that could have improved the was the up keep of the rondaval pool certainly was not overly clean and the noise level at the Cabernet could be lower.
Overall south coast has been our favorite sandals so far.

From the moment we walked off the plane to greet our guide to help us navigate customs, then get us a drink in the sandals lounge, and then comfortably set us off in a our transportation to the resort. The drive on a Sunday morning took a bit longer due to some traffic but it was comfortable and the sights of the mountains and coast great to see because you might not leave the resort so to see a little bit of the landscape was good. Greeted by our club sandals host and then setup in our room and our vacation started on an amazing journey. The service excellent, the food great options and very tasty, choice of amenities [water sports, shopping, entertainment, pools - whirlpools, food options, red lane spa, gym, outdoor activities] top notch. The beach was fantastic as it is very secluded and I would even say exclusive to sandals as there is no other resorts or major development around the property so we saw maybe 5 locals if that during our 7 day stay. The water was fantastic warm this was mid Aug. Our favourite part of the vacation was choosing this resort out of the many sandals in Jamaica for its tranquility, ambience, and location. Accommodations were fantastic stayed in the dutch village - some great room options the views from our room 2428 where stunning - some locations provide the same vantage point but do your homework as some rooms might have obstructed views not much but our view was not obstructed by anything. All in all a great time we booked two more sandals vacations before we left the property because you can get some good deals. Well worth the money because the memories are priceless.
