We just left Sandals Dunn’s River yesterday, and we’re missing it already. We had a fabulous time; it’s breathtakingly beautiful. Everyone on property was friendly. There were some exceptional employees that stood out to us for their friendly smiles and helpfulness. We must mention their names: Ray, Conrad, Alisha, Tynisha, and Rebecca in Entertainment; servers Romaine, Sudheer, Ronaldo, Antoinette, and the host of the Italian restaurant (can’t remember his name, but he was great!). We really enjoyed our photographer as well. Our housekeepers were great, the bartenders were great. Unfortunately , we didn’t get all the names. We had such a great time, we’ve already booked a trip back.

We stayed at SDR from August 9-16, 2025. We travelled with two other couples. All in our group had been to a Sandals before. We have travelled to 7 different Sandals. SDR is a gorgeous resort. It is layed out in such a fashion that it appears to be larger than it is but in my opinion is the perfect size. We stayed in the Travertine Beach Penthouse room 1708. The room was perfect and the view amazing. The mornings were lovely with a violinist, sax player or steel drum player playing soothing music in the morning. The coffee cart travels on the boardwalk if you are looking for early morning coffee without walking to Blums. For lack of a better phrase I will call Blums a coffee house but in actuality it is so much more. The coffee is fresh ground and was delicious. The pastries and cookies were so good. The variety of coffees is excellent. The outdoor seating area is spacious and serene. We dined at every restaurant and did not have less than a stellar experience at each. Our favorite was Zuka. The surf and turf was amazing. Dwight was our server and he did not miss a beat. The manager Jermaine is very hands on making sure everyone has a great experience. Right next door to Zuka is The Rum Club. The drinks at the Rum Club were so good and it is a really fun environment. Shannise (I know I am misspelling) at the Rum Club was a great bartender and made a wonderful Mojito. The French restaurant L'Amade was very good and Banyu was also good. The Italian restaurant Cascata was a nice surprise. We did not go with high expectations since Jamaican Italian is a little different than what were are used to living in the NY Metro area. The food at Cascata far exceeded our expectations and was authentic and delicious. The chef Massimino came to our table to chat and see that all was good. The manager Salvatore also came by to chat and check in. If it had not been on last night on property I am sure we would have returned. Another highlight was Hanami the sushi restaurant. The sushi was fresh, delicious and there was a wide variety. Our server Rinaldo helped us choose and was very attentive. The manager Eugene also made sure our experience was great. Saltaire for breakfast and lunch was very good. We enjoyed the lamb chops at the Greek restaurant Edessa. Galene had great Jamaican patties for lunch. Isola for pizza was okay- have had better at other Sandals. The wait was very long and invariably the pizza was never ready when it was time. We had drinks at all the various bars (of which there are many) and all were good. Kenisha (I believe she was at the lobby bar) made a great "Kenisha special". Our favorite bartender was Davaughn who was at the lobby bar and one night at the Rum Club. He is simply such a nice young man. He made the point of remembering all of our names and would address us by name each time we went to the bar. Sandals should commend him as he truly made our experience special. Throughout our stay (with the exception of the pool bar on our first full day) we never encountered a Sandals employee who did not say hello. If there was a negative to our trip it would be the pool bar. It was never crowded but despite this the bartenders would not acknowledge you. We just started walking to the other bar as it was easier. We had no difficulty getting loungers by the pool (we stayed the majority of time at the pool by Saltaire). There are exercise classes in the pool each day and arts an crafts you can sign up to do. We did aqua yoga one day which was fun and we made bracelets which was nice. If you are thinking of going to Sandal's Dunn's River do it. You will not be disappointed. It is an amazing resort in every way. We hope to be back soon.

1 of the best Sandals that we have been to in the past 30yrs. Love the dining choices, the entire staff were very friendly & welcoming. Shaw and Martin the butlers were amazing. They always go the extra mile. The staff gave the resort a happy vibe and we highly recommend Sandals Dunn’s River. Tre’Sann at Loyalty and Travel is simply the best, signing up for our next trip was very easy with her & somewhat entertaining, we love her. Mike from the dive team was very helpful & attentive.

We spent 4 nights at Dunns River to celebrate our anniversary. What we loved about this location: The property is laid out so that everything is fairly close together with easy access to restaurants, pools, rooms, the spa, and beach front. The entertainment staff are fantastic. They live on property, and their happy, fun living personalities are a real joy! We got to know Ray (he has a beautiful singing voice) and Conrad ("Connie"), who brings fun to every show and event he's part of! We loved the activities. Bottle painting and sip & paint with Philip in particular. He was encouraging and just wonderful. The room was kept immaculately clean, as was the entire property. We had a 1 bedroom ocean view suite with 2 balconies and a plunge pool. It was spacious and comfortable. While we were there. It was very hot outside, but the room and buildings were always cool and comfortable. The bar tenders were upbeat, friendly, fun, and made excellent drinks! Room service was prompt, and the food was always the right temperature. We planned a candlelight dinner on the beach. Romaine waited on us. He was a perfect mix of friendly, attentive, yet knew when to give us some privacy too. The food was very good. Our favorite restaurants were Cascata and L'Amande. The manager and chef greeted us at Cascada, which we enjoyed. My husband loved the Jerk Shack, and I made daily visits to Blum. Tip: The siphon brewed coffee at Blum is worth the 20 minutes it takes to make! Try with the Jamaican eclaires - so good! Our butler Patrian was dependable and made sure we had what we needed and what we wanted. He was fantastic! The sunset catamaran cruise was relaxing and romantic. This was our first time, as we've done the snorkeling cruises that were more like a party in the past. Both are nice, depending on what you want. The Red Lane spa staff were excellent. We usually do a couple massage when at Sandals, and this team was the best so far. Nicole was one of our masseuse, and I wish I could remember the other lady's name, too. By the end, we were both relaxed, and soreness from travel the day before was gone! A great way to start the vacation. This time, we took advantage of the free snorkeling and although we enjoyed it, there were a couple who were doing thier scuba dive certification so they took all of us to a location with less to see to accommodate thier testing. There weren't many fish at the site. A couple of things that didn't go as expected: The butler elite service was started as having a dedicated butler. That's not how it worked. We were one of several couples being serviced by our butler, and we had different butlers during our stay. Sometimes communication was lost during the "handoff," and we went one day relatively ignored by our second butler (not Patrian). In fact, when we departed, he did not even come see us that morning. The departure team found out and called him up. Tip: Have your butler leave a charger for the butler phone with you. The phone we were given wasn't a standard charger, and it died twice during our stay. The butler took the phone from us to be charged, leaving us without a means of contact, and he didn't check on us either. The catamaran tour does not depart from Dunns River, although it was advertised as leaving from Dunn's. We were driven to Ochi and boarded/returned there, then driven back. Would we go back to Dunn's River? Absolutely! We loved the property and the people there. Shout out to Patrian, Ray, Connie, Nicole, and Philip!

From start to finish everything about this hotel was fantastic! The resort, the staff, the food, cleanliness, rooms, service, choice of drinks, facilities and location were all absolutely brilliant! The entire team of staff were always friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The butlers worked tirelessly to make our stay even more memorable! If you can find fault with this resort and the staff you're just nit picking and probably one of life's miserable people who moan at every opportunity! So don't do it!

Two weeks at Sandals Royal Plantation (SRP) and it’s been amazing. This place is definitely our favourite Sandals. It’s small, intimate, and the service is so personal. Gorgeous layout (if you don’t mind a few steps), amazing food, and easy access to Dunn’s River and Ochi. Plus, we met some incredible staff and guests who made the experience even better. Our butlers, Gladstone and Sherril, were great, sorted us out with all the things we needed and nothing seemed too much trouble (although we don’t ask for much!) Beach butlers Trevado and Daniello are amazing and have a second sense for exactly the drink you need without asking! The breakfast and lunch team of Stephnie, Stacey-Ann, Sherika and Vanya were lovely everyday. We had great service at the bar from Garnet and Junior, supported brilliantly by Tressell. And at our final meal at Le Papillon, our server Chevon was a ray of sunshine! Whilst SRP has a low key vibe, we had one of the best nights we’ve ever had in the Caribbean (and one of the worst mornings after!) Lots of dancing and singing with new friends, with GM Omar tearing up the dance floor all night. Will miss Omar and Marvin’s daily rounds with the boozy popsicles! We have not yet returned to a resort but in a first for us, we are booked to come back next year. Counting down the days already!

Our 3rd trip ‘home’ and it didn’t disappoint! So much to say about this beautiful resort that I don’t know where to start! The grounds, the accommodation, the staff - all are exceptional. We stayed in a royal monarch room and although we didn’t get the floor we requested we were happy with our room. All the rooms we’ve stayed in so far have been lovely. They have recently had a little facelift too which is nice but kept the traditional Caribbean style which we love about Royal Plantation. Our housekeepers kept our room beautifully clean and our bed was turn-downed every night. We had Alrick and Adrian aka Biggs again for butlers as requested and they were again fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. The staff is really what puts this property above and beyond, to mention a few - Sherika and Stephanie at breakfast who really looked after us also Vanya with her conversation and smile. The beach butler’s Daniello and Trevardo who made sure you always had a cool drink! Those mango Daiquiris were delicious! And the always smiling Garnet in the wobbly peacock who when they didn’t have any st Germain liqueur for a Hugo spritz he made me a delicious alternative drink which we named the Becci Spritz haha! It was sooo good! Also Junior and Tressel ( sp could be wrong! ) always looking after us. Another mention was the chef Leroy - he cooked the best steak down at The Grill one night, omg it was better than what we had in the French restaurant! It was lovely to see the fabulous GM Omar again, still bossing it as GM still remembering every guests name wow! Also Marvin and Wayne doing great jobs. Food was all pretty good, service a little slow at times in the French restaurant, maybe under staffed. But didn’t affect our enjoyment of the meal. I do think maybe a rotation each week on menus could be good as if staying for longer than a week menus can feel a bit limited. The same with the entertainment, I do think that this is one area that needs to be addressed at RP - it’s very limited and predictable. Yes I know you can go other to Ochi etc to the rabbit hole but RP is beautiful and honestly we would rather have better entertainment there than have to go to Ochi. The entertainment staff seems to have lost a bit of their sparkle and feels like they are going through the motions a little. We did the blue mountain biking and hiking trip which really enjoyed but it’s a long day and drive so just be prepared and we were also lucky enough to be there for a turtle release! A bucket list experience for sure ! We have rebooked for 2027 and I’m missing my morning mimosa and that beautiful view already! Oh talking of views my other moan why do the catamarans have to be moored up in front of the hotel?! It really ruins the view when sitting on the beach or dock and especially at sunset just a little gripe. We used club Kingston on both arrival and departure and it’s a must in my opinion. Transfers were smooth and pretty quick despite the distance to hotel.

Wonderful visit to Sandals RP. Made to feel welcome and at home the moment we stepped out of the transfer taxi. All the team from GM Omar and Customer Services Director Marvin to the lovely interns in the restaurant’s and working around the pool were committed to ensuring everyone had a truly memorable holiday. A huge thank you to everyone for a wonderful time. Marvin and Bebeto were once again outstanding and provided a service second to none. A special mention to Stephanie and Sherika and all the ladies in the Terrace who provided the perfect start to everyday. Also to Garnet and Tresell in the Wobbly Peacock who ensured our glades were never dry and mixed some devilish cocktails, the Martini night was one to remember, or so I’m told 😵‍💫😵‍💫 The food in all the Restaurants was top class and the service and atmosphere were superb, the speciality nights on the terrace were lovely and the evening entertainment was great. Sadly 😥, I cannot remember the names of the beach butlers, but they work so hard to keep everyone fed and watered and demonstrate amazing skill as the balance drinks and plates as they move around the resort. A huge thank you to everyone we cannot wait to return next year

It's not the building, views, or even the food that keep us coming back. We just completed our sixth stay here over the past 15 years and some of the same employees are still there. Getting to know the staff is truly the best part. The managers, Omar and Marvin, are running this place as if it was their own home. Always checking on guests by name, checking the food, and really caring about the experience. You will certainly find prettier rooms with fancy bathrooms all over the Caribbean, but you'll never find better hospitality and personalized service. If you want anything all, just ask. They'll do it! Special lunch? Unique drink? Just ask! They even provided coffee beans in my room so I could grind my own coffee. Those little touches make all the difference in the world.

It took me 72hrs to stop crying long enough to write my review. I've been pouting and whining about having to leave Sandals Grenada since check-out on Sunday. The staff saw my face and each inquired, "What's the matter?!" My response, "I DON'T WANT TO GOOOOO!!" From the moment we arrived on property, I felt like I was home. The quickest ride from the airport to property that we have ever experienced, so the vacation began almost as soon as we landed! Lauren (hey, beautiful!) greeted us with a beautiful song and a radiantly warm smile and a warm hand towel. Every single member of the Sandals team made our stay memorable and special. Our room was a penthouse Oceanview in the Pink Gin bldg and the view was spectacular every morning. Loungers were always available on the beach (and they have several hammocks, too!) and at each pool. The property is not very large, but everything is spaced out well giving the feeling of being away yet home, at the same time. The couple we traveled with booked a butler suite, and we had the pleasure of meeting their butlers, Raul, Akisha and Randall, who we watched take the most excellent care of my sister and brother-in-law. Dietary restrictions and food allergies are always of concern for my sister when going out, but not when under the care of their butlers. Their attention to detail and attentive service convinced me to book my next Sandals stay in a butler suite!! We had the pleasure of meeting Tamara, from the managent team, while attending the Welcome Dinner. Again, the warm smiles and genuine hearts of the people of Grenada shone through Tamara from that night up until the day she saw us off at the check-in/out lounge. For any watersports enthusiasts, see Lemron aka Lemonade for your sailing trip. He kept my sister and I engaged, educated us about the rainforest and country side of Grenada and is an expert with that sail (you will be in the BEST hands, trust me)! Make sure to visit Kimono and receive a warm greeting and great service by Zunubia and if you're really lucky, Henley will be available to prepare your meal. He is very skilled, entertaining and we watched him clean his station until it looked brand spanking new!! The food was very tasty at each restaurant, the drinks did what they were supposed to and let me not forget the freshly prepared made-to-order pizzas at the Main pool.....YUMMMM!!!! They also serve fresh popcorn, beef patties and chicken patties AND you can order chicken lollipops to accompany your pizza (try the jerk chicken with white sauce pizza, you won't be disappointed). If there is anything that I could change about my stay (in Grenada and in St. Vincent) are the feral animals that wander the property. I personally am highly allergic, so I immediately get anxious when I see them. It was worse in St. Vincent, the dogs were aggressive toward those who chose to run on the beach. There are signs posted all over the Grenada property warning guests to not feed nor pet the feral animals.......but, yeah, people smh. With that being said, book your 1st, 2nd or 8th Sandals vacation and stay at Sandals Grenada. Thank you to everyone that represents the Grenada property team, you guys ROCK!!

My husband and I recently completed our PADI open water scuba certification at Sandals Grenada, and the dive team was absolutely phenomenal. Because of our experience with the diving staff, we will now only consider Sandals resorts for our future vacations. Since we weren't quite sure what to expect going in, I wanted to take the time to write a full summary of the process in case it helps others. Before traveling: We completed the PADI eLearning open water coursework. This took roughly 4-6 hours total the week before our vacation but was easy to break up into small 15 minute sections. Training at Sandals: We went straight to the dive shop on the day we arrived and checked in to schedule the open water certification. Prince was very helpful and made sure we were on the schedule for training the next morning. On our first day of training we met our instructor, Tyrone. We were a little nervous since we had no experience but that went away as soon as we started working with him. I can't say enough about how excellent of an instructor Tyrone is. He was extremely detail-oriented, patient, and does everything by the book. Tyrone spent a couple hours with us in the pool going through the PADI skills checklists and teaching us along the way. This made us feel very confident that we would have the knowledge and practice to dive outside of the pool. After completing the confined water dives in the morning, we finished up our open water training dives and skills checklists that afternoon and the next morning. The whole process was very efficient but also thorough. Diving at Sandals: By the third day of our vacation we were fully certified, and for the next 3 days we were able to join the dives every morning. Everyone we interacted with at the aquatic center was fantastic. The team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable but I want to give a special shoutout to those that helped making diving the highlight of our vacation. Thayne and Rendon were exceptional captains, and Kimron was a wonderful first mate. These guys are really good at their job. They know how to take their responsibilities seriously on the boat but still have a good time conversing and joking back on shore. They were able to accommodate a large group of divers with a range of experience and get us to the best dive sites safely and efficiently. For most of our post-training dives Tyrone continued to serve as one of our dive leads. This was great because he is so encouraging. The other instructor who really stood out was Shimere. Together, he and Tyrone guided us on some amazing dives pointing out seahorses, turtles, stingrays and so much more. If you're interested in scuba diving especially if you need to do the open water certification, I highly recommend starting at Sandals Grenada! P.S. Highly recommend staying in the Pink Gin rooms - they are right next to the shop on the beach.

The staff is friendly and attentive, every single one of them. The grounds are lush and beautiful. The restaurants were all delicious (especially the bakery for a latte or after dinner treat). Housekeeping did a wonderful job. The beach was lovely and we liked snorkeling out front. There’s a quiet pool and a “party” pool and we thoroughly enjoyed both. The nighttime shows and singers were awesome! I can’t quite put into words just how relaxing and enjoyable this vacation was! We will definitely be coming back to Sandals Grenada! 5 stars!⭐️

My stay at Sandals St. Vincent & the Grenadines was nothing short of incredible up until our very last day. Let me start with the positives: the resort is absolutely breathtaking, nestled in a beautiful, serene location with views that look like they belong on a postcard. The hospitality was exceptional staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. Our room was stunning: modern, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable and don’t even get me started on the food everything from breakfast to dinner was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and there were plenty of options to choose from. From start to (almost) finish, our vacation felt top-tier in every way. However, things took an unfortunate turn during our departure experience. Due to an unexpected flight cancellation, we along with several other couples were stranded at the airport for over 8 hours. While we completely understand that flight cancellations are out of Sandals' control, we were optimistic that the resort would help us make the best of a frustrating situation by allowing us to return for another night (fully paid, of course). To our surprise, we were told the resort was fully booked, But after doing our own research, we discovered the resort was only at 52% capacity. When we brought this to their attention, the reasoning quickly shifted from being fully booked to being understaffed. This lack of transparency was both disappointing and confusing. To make matters worse, while we and others waited at the airport, one couple also Sandals guests were somehow able to return to the resort with arranged transportation and accommodations, right in front of the rest of us. This felt incredibly unfair and biased, and it soured what had been a truly perfect vacation up to that point. I’ve since been in contact with a manager named Ashanti Pazzaglia, but I feel my concerns have either been misunderstood or overlooked. To be clear, I am not seeking compensation. I am sharing this feedback in hopes that Sandals will handle such situations with more consistency, transparency, and fairness in the future. It’s unfortunate that our last memory of this beautiful resort was marked by frustration and disappointment, still the experience before that was truly wonderful and with a few improvements in handling guest support during unexpected travel issues, Sandals St. Vincent could truly be unmatched. Thank you for the memories, and I sincerely hope our feedback helps enhance the experience for future visitors.

Beautiful property & landscaping typical of a Sandals resort. The size of the beach is perfect with calm warm water. We had a 2 bedroom villa right on the beach with little yard a nice size patio & pool. This room was gorgeous & nicely appointed. Snacks such as peanuts, candy & chips were restocked daily. House keeping Cynthile & Xyloni were outstanding. We met a lot of super stars along the way. Our butler team Faith, Aya & Seon went above & beyond. Our preference form was also carefully read before our arrival. We are used to our excellent butlers in Jamaica but this team was off the hook, professional, friendly & fun. The food & atmosphere of the restaurants were all beautiful & wow. Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating. Everyone very good at what they do & made us feel welcome Mendosa & Roshanna at Butches, Uniqua at Skrimshaw Anna at Gatsu Gatsu went out of her way to show us where the ice cream place was on our first night, Ruselle for lunch at Parasol & the bartender Leanna, Faith at Soro & Miloney at the lobby bar was fun & entertained us. Warner in water sports when above & beyond to get our pool sparkling clean with Brennalee "Brie's" help. Jimisha concierge in Loyalty & travel always so fun to talk to ( will miss her ) & thank you to Okieve for booking our next to trips in our room! So nice not to have to sit in an office. We also loved meeting Ashante Guest Relations Mgr, Kim Operations Mgr & Kerry butler mgr who is a super star. He really went above and beyond. Also Megan Martin the "big wig" Sandals Select Mgr Last but not least the GM Tamon Allen who also goes above and beyond for his guests. We were blown away by the VIP luncheon that was on a boat with a snorkeling trip that he attended, then he played pickle ball with guests & THEN took us & a group to dinner at a local restaurant 4 Shells that had unbelievable fish & HUGE lobsters. Everyone mentioned made us feel like valued guests & Sandals family. Thank you all for your hospitality. Charlotte & Eric Owen

Ten days in Paradise! Actually our second trip to Sandals St. Vincent and it isn't our last. Also spent two weeks in January and are booked for repeat trips in March and August 2026. This was our 25th Sandals vacation. We have been to every Sandals island and to some twice. SVG is by far our favorite. Why? Reason #1: We are retired scuba professionals and visit Sandals primarily for the diving. SVG has the best diving of any Sandals location (and we have been to them all)! As the crew continues to discover new sites, they just get better and better. Awesome sponges, healthy reefs (compared to other Sandals), sea horses, frog fish and more eels, spotted drums and lobster than we have seen anywhere "in the Caribbean" (and we worked a number of years in St Martin and Cayman not to mention Hawaii and travel assignments throughout the South Pacific. No SVG diving doesn't hold a match to the South Pacific). If you want good diving, SVG is for you. Reason #2: The resort is awesome! Located in a cove surrounded by mountains and ocean, it oozes with beauty. And being brand new, the facilities are unspoiled (still). IOHO you don't need a butler room here. There are only a handful of butler rooms that have ocean views, as both four-story buildings (club and luxury), Lady Palm and Bamboo, have balconies and good to excellent ocean and mountain views. Reason #3: The staff is as good as any. The GM is the best we have experienced at any resort. Like his staff, very personable and eager to please! Reason #4: Four beautiful, well-lite pickleball courts. Every Weds evening they have a staff and guests tournament. And people actually participate. Possible that is because the GM is an an avid developing player as are an number of his managers. We love the resort! If you are a diver or pickleball enthusiast, you'll definitely LOVE Sandals SVG... (this is not a paid commercial endorsement - LOL)

Just returned from another great trip to the Sandals Grande St. Lucian. I am an Emerald level member with the Sandals Select program and this is the fourth visit to the resort. We had booked the Swim Up Lover's Lagoon Club Level (HR) category. The resort and that room type, along with many other categories on one side of the resort were under total renovation. The rooms were stripped down to the walls so they'll be totally new rooms. As a result, we were upgraded to a butler category, the Rondoval Villa and a wonderful surprise. A big shout out to a number of staff members, starting with our lovely Butler's, Malaika and Michelle. Also, the playmakers pool entertainment staff were great as they do an awesome job keeping people engaged and entertained during the day while hanging out at the pool. Big shout out to Neville, Cassis and Leana. The bartenders that we had the most engagement were awesome which includes Remy at the pool side bar and Denson at the lobby bar. We didn't get to see Peter this trip as he wasn't working the days we were there but he's a legend. A final shout out to Nicholas, who is a very pleasant breakfast staff member at Toscanini's, the Italian restaurant at night and sit down menu order breakfast option. We look forward to going back to and experiencing the newly renovated rooms in the near future!

Our stay at Sandals Saint Lucia Grande was beautiful. The left beach is beautiful with perfect sand. The captains for the daily snorkeling, water skiing, and wake boarding were amazing especially Captain Derrick who took us out on a night snorkeling excursion! So cool! We were a bit disappointed that the resort was under construction (which we were unaware of) and was much less busy than expected. There were not a ton of bars available in the evenings after dinner, but other than that everything was great. Looking for a killer drink go see Orion in the pub most nights. Need a fun frozen pool drink? Go see Remy for a StripClub Sandwich or Matthew for a or a BBC! Want to laugh your face off? Go to Kimono’s and ask for Chef Ruben. The most adult Hibachi experience we’ve ever had! This is our 2nd Sandals trip and we have Antigua booked for 2027!

While the staff was GREAT and very professional!! There were a few things that made this stay not so great. First, in the middle of the day they decided to change locks on all the rooms without first informing guest. We were there for a wedding and were in the middle of preparing to attend a gathering for all the wedding guests (that started at a particular time) when the locksmith showed up while I was in the shower to change the lock (and therefore, kept my room door open while I was forced to hide in a corner to get dressed with a stranger in the room and door open.. OR miss the wedding event. Second, later in the week an article of clothing belonging to my wife went missing and was never found. My wife got her clothes out for a cruise we were doing later in the evening and after we returned to our room.. her shirt was missing.. and never found (despite security cameras being positioned right outside our room) **Sandals is apparently still investigating this, although we are no longer at the resort and have returned home. this was very inconvenient and the minimal compensation ($40 room credit) did not match the disruption to our vacation and personal invasion of privacy we felt. We had other family and friends that stayed at the other sandals resorts on the island and even though we tried to do several events together, sandals final shuttle back to the other resorts ends at 10PM.. despite the fact that activities on the resort go beyond that time.. meaning if you are on a different resort you really can't participate after your "shuttle curfew" Sandals should really consider their own shuttle service...at least for after hours and not force customer to pay the whopping $40 per person (or more) to catch a taxi There are also not enough events to fully entertain.. yes there is one or two poolside activities during the day.. but maybe throw in a couple daytime shows or add a movie theater or something else.. by the end of the week we kind of got bored. Again.. the staff is great and very attentive but the resort was not so great and I would not stay again

Last year me and my wife celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Sandals Negril, and just knew we had to come back again this year to celebrate our 26th with them. WHAT AN AMAZING TIME AGAIN !!!!! When we arrived at the resort we were greeted with friendly smiles and service. Orlando showed us to our room, which was again the Paradise Beachfront Grande Luxe Club Level. Our room had been recently refreshed with new paint and amenities. While it was requested for us to have our previous room number, and to have our guests traveling with us as neighbors, it did not happen, which was very disappointing. ( last year was on 3rd floor, this year on the 2nd floor which didn’t have as great of views as the previous year ). But we understand that it can not always be, so we accepted, and still had an amazing time. Orlando was great through the week as well. He always checked on us when he saw us to see if there was anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable. The food was always great, with lots of options for us, as we are picky eaters. One of the greatest things about breakfast, is that we got to see Olivia again and hear that she was promoted within the resort. She is such an amazing asset to have. She always greeted us with a smile, and conversations about our families or ones that turned into having a laugh. We always looked forward to seeing her smiling face in the morning to get us going. During the day we mostly sat by the pool and engaged with the entertainment teams pool games ( I won 1st prize for the slogan game 😊 ) and 3pm volleyball. The music was upbeat and made the atmosphere inviting. Because of the games played and volleyball, we were able to meet some great pool friends that made lasting memories and some new friendships. As for the restaurants, we ate at Bayside, Perla, Kimonos, Sundowner and Barefoot Grill. No matter where we ate, it was always delicious. During our hibachi dinner, the gentleman who was cooking was entertaining and had us laughing while we ate, but also made some great food. Now for the MAIN REASON we enjoy and returned specifically to Sandals Negril….the entertainment group !! Enough cannot be said about Odane ,King James, Lady Skye, Lady Blue, Antonio, and Izzy. Their energy, voices, engagement with guests and their over all personalities are EXCEPTIONAL Without them there, I am not sure we would have returned. They treated us like family when we interacted with them. They made us laugh, get off our butts and move, and kept us going all week. The nights shows are a perfect end to the day, and we didn’t miss one again this year. We even won the Dating Game night !!! We were sorry to see that Lady Skye did not do the water show this year. Her voice is heavenly, from her soul and powerful and what made last years water show one that we will not forget. This years vocalist was just missing the same energy and talent that we saw in last years show, and it was a little lackluster. PLEASE PUT SKYE BACK ON FOR OUR NEXT YEARS VISIT !!!! Odane, Lady Skye and Antonio steal the show with their voices, while King James and Lady Blue dance with all of their heart and always puts 100% into what the have crafted with their talents. King James and Lady Blues moves, flexibility and choreography were mesmerizing. We are so ready to see what next years shows will be. The only complaints we had about our trip was about the service at the Perla for night time food ( 10pm – 6am ), the gentleman who was to be taking your order and the chef, were constantly seen walking from some other part of the resort or sitting up at the pizza place, rather than being onsite ready for customers. There were nights I had to wait 10 minutes just to have my order ( burger and fries ) taken and then another 20+ to receive the food, while being the only one there. Everyone I spoke with said the same thing about them seeming lazy and them having to constantly wait, due to the employees not being at the restaurant. Also at the swim-up bar, the people behind did not pay enough attention to the needs of the guests. We had multiple times through each day where you had to wave them down to get a drink because they were talking to each other or had no one at the bar. It kind of seemed like they just didn’t want to be there to help us. Again multiple people near us said the same thing about how hard it was to get a drink. With all this said, our 26th wedding anniversary was fun filled and a relaxing one, due to the staff. Always friendly smiles, good mornings, and hellos from all. Will we be going back for our 3rd trip……. 100% yes. Thank you Sandals and even a bigger THANK YOU to Odane, King James, Lady Skye, Lady Blue, Antonio, Izzy, Marlon, Olivia and Orlando for all that you do and did for us. With out you, it would not have been the same. WE LOVE YOU ALL and you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. ONE LOVE !!

We have been traveling through the Caribbean and Mexico for 20 years and this was our first trip to a Sandals resort. We chose their Negril location and experienced the calmest water we have ever encountered. The food was very good, Crema was the spot to start and end our days. Any time we looked lost or confused, we were approached by a staff member to see if they could help. We especially liked that this was a smaller resort but still had plenty to do and always beaches chairs available.

We came to sandals Negril to celebrate two birthdays an anniversary and to just have a good time with friends. We really had the best time. between hanging out at the main pool to dining out at all the restaurants and everything in between we could not complain. As my first time at a sandals, I was highly impressed with the staff, the rooms, the drinks and all of the entertainment. We be friended King James at the pool with the rest of the entertainment crew and he became a 13th member of our 12 person group. He really showed us a good time and you could tell that he loved entertaining guests throughout their entire stay. You can tell the staff really cared about the cleanliness of the entire resort, the beaches were immaculately kept and so was the pool. We loved our stay so much that my boyfriend and I booked another trip at a different location while we were there for a discounted rate. The food was very good compared to other all inclusive that I’ve been to and I was highly impressed. To say that we had the best week at sandals Negril is an understatement and we can’t wait to return.

🌊Special Shout Out to Kevon– The Reigning King of Fun 🌊 If you haven’t experienced water aerobics with Kevon hyping it up from the sidelines (or joining in like it’s an Olympic sport), have you even lived? Kevon you brought the energy, the laughs, and enough encouragement to make even the most “I don’t do cardio” people jump, splash, and shimmy like backup dancers in a Beyoncé video. Somehow, you managed to make synchronized splashing look glamorous. Let’s be honest: • You made water aerobics feel like a party in a pool • You made mornings bearable (which is basically a superpower) • And you turned every awkward stretch into a full-on comedy show To the one and only Kevon— thank you for bringing the magic, abs and the kind of joy that sticks with people long after the towels are dry. We appreciate you more than sunscreen on a sunny day. 💦💖 P.S. Someone give Kevon a medal for Best Poolside Hype Human Ever. 🏅

Excellent 7 days spent at the Sandals Halcyon resort in St Lucia. Excellent accommodation, location, food and very friendly staff. Special mention to Destiny who chatted to us poolside, Celine who gave me a fantastic massage, Leshaun with his daily information on entertainment and finally the General Manager and Hotel Manager who sat on our table for supper ,on the special evening we were invited to as returning guests. We also liked the option to visit the other 2 Sandals resorts with the curtesy transportation provided. We eat one evening at the La toc and another night at the Grande.

My husband and I just returned from a 10-day honeymoon at Sandals Halcyon Bay and while we don't usually write reviews, we had to share our fantastic experience. The water sports team truly made our trip unforgettable. As certified divers, we were excited to use the resort's facilities. On our first morning, we had a refresher with Shalaura, who went over safety and equipment in the dive pool. This was a huge help and made us feel confident and ready for our first boat dive the next day to the Pitons—what an incredible experience! The entire dive team was amazing throughout our four separate trips. They were all friendly, professional and so happy. A special thanks to Martin for being so supportive on my first dive. He really helped calm my nerves and guided our group so well. On our final dive day, we were lucky enough to have Shalaura guide our group. She was a fantastic instructor, helping us spot ten turtles across two different dive sites. We are so grateful to her for creating such incredible memories. Our final shoutout goes to Quami at the water sports center. We saw him every day of our trip and he was always so welcoming and friendly. He learned our names immediately and greeted us by name every time we saw him. With Quami and his team, I even learned to waterski for the first time! They were incredibly patient and I was up and standing on the skis after just a few attempts. Quami is a real credit to the Halcyon team. We can't recommend the entire water sports staff enough for their kindness and enthusiasm. If you're looking for an active vacation, you'll be in great and safe hands with this team. They were the highlight of our trip! While the water sports team was our standout, we want to note that all the staff across the three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

Our trip was absolutely amazing! Travis was wonderful (the guy in the bow tie.) Not only did he booked our dinner reservations, he moved our chairs around the pool, ordered our lunch, brought us drinks (AND WATER!!!☺️) Upon arrival, we were greeted with cold lemon scented towels, shown around, and if you’re a club member, you get to hang out in the Sandals Club Lounge. Our room was filled with drinks and so clean! We highly recommend Saint Lucia Regency La Toc.

My husband and I stayed at Sandals La Toc for our honeymoon 2 - 8 June 2023. We celebrated our honeymoon , my birthday on 6/6 and our new life together. The club sandals team Tasha, Lisa, Sylana, Sameera, Ciera, Zion, Esther deserve standing ovations, the sandals employees truly put you the guests before themselves. We were met with a beautifully decorated room celebrating our wedding, they next redecorated on 6th for my birthday at my husband's request. The staff operate so seamlessly achieving these unforgettable moments and memories while you step out. From airport pickup, check in , the stay , every aspect is efficiently coordinated. Staffing top class, but they aren't permitted to accept gratuities (although you'd like to give 🙂 Food and Drink also top class Entertainment all day Hotel AMAZING Gift Shop sublime Although it is over 2 years late we wish to sincerely thank this resort. If the staff are no longer there they were wonderful and we will never forget our experience. Gregory and Gina West

My husband and I booked our July 2025 stay at Sandals Royal Curacao to celebrate my birthday. He booked a candlelight dinner and stated on the form that it was for my birthday. The hotel didn't even send a bottle of wine to the room or acknowledge we were there for a special occasion. We have been to many resorts in and out of the Caribbean. We expected much better from Sandals as a resort that promotes itself as being a premium experience. Also, the front desk staff were less than friendly. It always seemed like we were begging them to take our money and provide service. It was the same at the Sushi restaurant where the waitress was sour as a lemon and put in orders for the wrong rolls. When we told her that it wasn't what we ordered, she insisted that it was - left the unwanted rolls on the table and never came back! The host had to take our order. I have never received such poor service. On a brighter note, the service in the Greek restaurant was superb. I wish we had gone there on the very first day. It was like being at a completely different resort. The view was as amazing as the food. Overall, we had a good time because we were there to enjoy our vacation, but the vibe is off at this resort.

There are a few misses at this resort: 1. As a new resort in the portfolio, it is completely odd that there is not an indoor spot for entertainment in the evening. It was incredibly hot in the main lobby. No pub, sports bar, lounge with a bar for late hours- nothing. Karaoke is stale after a while but might be more tolerable if it were in an air conditioned location. Give people other options for the evenings. 2. Bitters for drinks were shared by the bar at the main and small pool. It was ridiculous to have to wait for the bartender to go to the other bar to get it. When I asked the bartender at the small pool why she had to keep going back and forth to get it, she said "its theirs". 3. Beds are hard. Stayed in a luxury room and butler. Same experience with the beds. Never had that issue at the other 3 sandals that I visited. 4. Vincents- food was not good. Duck L'orange was hard no flavor. I did not eat it. Mussels- no flavor. I did not meet one person who had a good experience with the food or the service at this restaurant. 5. Room service- Ridiculously slow. 40 mins. Food was not always hot when it arrived. 6.Cabana - friend ordered a cabana by the private pool. After waiting forever for service, was told that only an order for two people could be made and they had to wait for the person who booked the cabana to place the order. The food is free. Three of the husband's were sitting there and only two wanted the order. The rule is silly. My husband and I told 3 couples to join us on the trip. Take the order. What was the harm. 7. Consistency- sometimes you had a button to press when you were ready for your tray to be picked up and other times you did not. Towels delivered by housekeeping sometimes. 8. Heart shaped pool bungalows - Loved the room and the look of the outside. Issue-iguanas. I could not relax on the deck or go in the water. They were in both places. Poop as well. I literally sat out there for 30 min and never went back after one crawled up on deck. Huge waste of money. One neighbor picked up one by the tail and threw it in the bushes. Build barriers or something. People are paying good money for these rooms. 9. Marshall at Pietra is rude. I stopped in and asked what type of food is served. He said "the kind you consume". I blinked a few times stunned. Who would say that to someone. He then proceeded to say Italian. 10. Meal after checkout - checkout was at 11 and bus departured at 12. why is the only food option the restaurant on the beach that you have to walk through sand to get to? Something else should be open for late breakfast. Cookies in the lounge did not cut it. The resort is beautiful. The staff in general were wonderful. Best restaurant our party of 8 enjoyed- Pietra, and Butch's. Pizza at Pietra in the late evening was great ss well. Aolos was ok. Shout out to Dylan from entertainment and our Butlers- Delano, Hind and Navardo. Thank you!!!

With its Dutch-influenced architecture, modern design, and sweeping coastal views, this is the first Sandals resort in the Southern Caribbean—and it delivers a more authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience than many island hotspots.

Guests enjoy 8 world-class restaurants, 3 gourmet food trucks, and Curaçao’s first two-level infinity pool, all surrounded by a rugged, naturally beautiful landscape. Plus, the resort’s proximity to Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers colorful colonial charm and cultural excursions.

Culinary & Amenities Highlights:

  • 2 bars, including a swim-up bar and a beachfront craft cocktail lounge
  • Access to off-site dining with a $250 dine-out credit for Butler Suite guests
  • Unique amenities like MINI Cooper convertibles included with certain room categories

Why We Love It:

  • Boat trips to Klein Curaçao, a tiny uninhabited island with some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean
  • Scuba diving, sunset catamaran cruises, and curated local excursions
  • Largest reception space of any Sandals resort—perfect for weddings and large gatherings
  • The tranquil setting offers a slower pace for couples who want to explore more and relax deeply

Key Considerations:

  • 25-minute transfer from Curaçao International Airport (CUR); scenic and stress-free
  • Popular excursions (Klein Curaçao, Willemstad tours, sunset cruises) book quickly—reserve in advance
  • Best for couples looking for rich culture, privacy, and an upscale, low-tourism experience

Pro Tip: Book a Kurason Island Poolside Butler Bungalow for swim-up access, a soaking tub for two, and a MINI Cooper to explore the island at your leisure.

My husband and I have been going to the Sandals brand since 2018. This was our 1st at SRC. SOOO close to the airport so you begin your stay right away! Beautiful small friendly resort. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were good. Our butlers, Cooper & Rayo made our trip feel like we were royalty! They went above and beyond for us! Checking to see if there anything we need, brining us drinks, coconut shrimp and even a surprise of coconut lobster! They were able to get us into Butch's restaurant at SMB twice!! Our room was nice Romeo & Juliet suite, only hitch as the AC was not working however a quick message thru GINA and our AC was fixed within 45 minutes. Our favorite restaurant on site was the French restaurant Le Jardinier, Spices was our second and the Mariner beach was tied with the Jerk Shack for 3rd. We did not try The Royal Thai or Bombay for dinner as we do not enjoy Thai or Indian food. I did however enjoy Bombay's breakfast. The only restaurant we did not really enjoy was the Italian La Tavola, it is outside and they were short on waitstaff, sat over 2 hours sweating & waiting for the food and there was no relief from the humidity, food was okay when it arrived. Piano bar & Cricketeers are a must. We loved our stay and will be back

We love Sandals Royal Caribbean, this was our third visit to this resort and this year for the very first time we had butler service, although we were there for three days and only had a day and a half days with Kevoy, we had a great experience with him. He is a sweetheart and made our anniversary celebration so special. He surprises us with a wonderful lunch of coconut shrimp and lobster. What a special lunch, what a nice experience he made it. There was a hiccup at he beginning ( not his fault nor ours) but he quickly corrected it and had smooth sailing the full day we had with him.

I booked a 4-night stay at Sandals Montego Bay expecting a luxury resort experience, but my stay was cut short after just one night due to unsafe conditions, discriminatory treatment, and a failure to deliver on what was promised. From the moment we arrived, the property felt dated, poorly maintained, and far below the standard shown online. At check-in, staff repeatedly and uncomfortably asked if my travel companion and I were “on a work trip,” making it clear they were questioning why two women were sharing a room. This was our first indication of the resort’s unwelcoming attitude toward same-sex couples. This “couples-only” policy was never disclosed at the time of booking, and the environment quickly became hostile and uncomfortable. The room we were given was not the Caribbean Deluxe category with pool and garden views that we booked. Instead, it overlooked the back of a restaurant (including trash bins and storage areas), and we found a cockroach in the bathroom—likely due to the room’s proximity to the kitchen. When we immediately raised the issue with the front desk and requested to be moved to the room type we paid for, we were passed between staff members and told that only the reservations department could help—yet no one from that team was available. No one made any attempt to resolve the problem. That evening, the discrimination continued. At dinner, despite the restaurant being far from full, we were seated in the back, away from other guests, and deliberately skipped over for the “couples photo” being offered to every other table. This treatment was blatant and alienating. The next morning, we checked out at 9:00 a.m., forfeiting the remaining 3 nights of our prepaid stay because the experience was incompatible with what we booked and what was advertised. Despite clearly explaining our concerns and leaving early, Sandals refused to provide any refund for the unused portion of our stay. This was one of the most disappointing and uncomfortable travel experiences I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend Sandals Montego Bay to anyone, particularly LGBTQ+ travelers, and I strongly advise potential guests to be aware that the resort’s online presentation does not match the reality on site.

This was our 9th Sandals Jamaica vacation but first at Montego Bay. We can’t say enough nice things. We arrived on an early flight and were at the resort by 07:50 am. We did have a butler room. Cassandra was our perfect butler. She put us poolside in a pool bed since we were early. We had breakfast and by 10:30 we were upgraded and our room was ready. They put us in a Beachfront Butler Villa (OBV). This was a one level upgrade (already in a butler room). This room was next to the Jerk Shack and the smaller party pool. The resort has 2 pools. The larger one is not impressive. The smaller one has the swim up bar and is the party pool. If you like pools you will be disappointed. However, the ocean is fantastic. Best beach we have had in Jamaica. Water was perfect. The restaurants were great. Room service for breakfast was perfect. We had no real complaints. I will say that our Butler Cassandra stole the show. She has a great personality. She was attentive, friendly and took care of us like family. We have been disappointed in the past with butler service but Cassandra was the best. After visiting Royal Caribbean twice, south Coast three times, Negril twice and Dunns River once, we have to say that Montego Bay is our newest favorite. Enjoy the planes, the water, the amenities, and the food. You will not be disappointed.

The diddles are back from 9 nights in mobay. Wow, one of the best resorts we have visited. Food is very good and the staff are excellent. We stayed in a millionaire butler suite at the end of the resort. The roo. It is a few steps from the beach and amazing. Our butlers were great and sorted out a shady spot for us with a cooler, brought us snacks and generally just looked after us. Amazing drinks and food. Went to butch's twice at night as it was that good. The resort was spotless and the staff do a great job of keeping it thst way. We were a little worried about the plane noise but it did not bother us at all. We went to royal caribbean one night and thought the noise was more intrusive there Final.shout out to sean and the entertainment team. The energy those guys bring is off the charts. I went to the sandals in August for a bachelorette trip/my 30th birthday. Everyone from staff to guests were beyond wonderful. The activities were always so fun. We did the paint and sip, which made such a wonderful souvenir. We also played pool volleyball almost every day and it was a great way to meet some new friends. We also went to all the bars and the bartenders were just the best, especially kevaughn and lemark. They made amazing drinks, both the resort specialty drinks and whatever your imagination can come up with. They were great conversationalists, as well. They taught us all about the Jamaican culture and even some handshakes and common words used in Jamaica. They got the bar involved in wishing me a happy birthday at midnight the day of my birthday and was always very cheerful and showing off their personalities, either with jokes or singing or whistling. It was very easy to tell they loved their jobs and loved the resort. We did a snorkeling excursion and the crew were amazing. Showed us around the island, brought us to Margaritaville to have lunch, and took us to a beautiful waterfall before going snorkeling. Curt and Gregory were very helpful and enthusiastic. We also did Dolphin cove and swam with the dolphins. The guy that was working the waterslide that day (I believe his name was roland) was so nice and hospitable. He held onto our stuff as we went down the waterslide, then brought our stuff back down when we were finished. Overall everyone on the island was so nice and always greeted us with a smile and a lesson on the Jamaican culture. The rabbithole was an extremely neat experience and the restaurants were always delicious. I can't wait to go back asap!

I’d like to start off by giving some shoutouts so that maybe Sandals will give these folks a raise!! Butlers- Shevaughn (Shevy) and Kayan. Both were extremely professional and helpful. Shevy was not much older than us and we loved learning about Jamaica through conversations with him. We told them we had a birthday in the group and they went above and beyond to make us feel special. They promptly answered their phones and got us everything we needed. They also made booking and canceling excursions a breeze. 10/10. I would come back and request them. Shevy is going places, I hope he gets promoted. He is a very smart guy and deserves all the good things in life! Entertainment- Patrice!!! She is REAL. Give her a raise immediately. Absolutely loved her. She was super fun during volleyball, we loved her humor and competitiveness. Romario and Breezy!! Two young guys who dance nonstop to keep the party rolling. They’re so polite and put up with our group’s antics. It was so cool to see them working different areas during the week- the pool, the amphitheater, the love hop. We always looked for them. In villa dining- NEIL!!!! I believe he is a supervisor of some sort. Neil and his crew set up a BEAUTIFUL Jamaican dinner by our pool. I’m so sorry I can’t recall their names, but the dinner was at 7pm on 08/21 at house 32. They served us up some cold jellies and good conversation. They’re super professional but down to earth. Neil told us he has two kids at home and I’m sure they’re so proud of their dad. He works hard- you can tell. What a wonderful evening we had with them, please make sure they know how much we appreciated every thing!! This was the best side we had at Sandals. We booked a two bedroom private villa. It was so nice having a pool. The folks there prior to us left a float which was a cool surprise. Air conditioning worked fabulously. The WiFi was not great and the TV was basically not usable. We didn’t spend much time inside so that was ok. Housekeeping and butlers come into your villa multiple times a day to clean, replenish fridge, and make sure everything is in order. I did use the safe, but otherwise our stuff was untouched. These folks are trustworthy and reliable. We wish there was a bridge between the two sides of the resort… crossing the street by foot isn’t ideal and waiting for “the hop” bus is not always fun. If sandals would build a bridge, then maybe the butlers could drive us across! Obviously the hop would still be used, but having golf cart access too would be nice. We had an in dining experience that was incredible. Authentic Jamaican cuisine by the pool side. If this is an add on- then I think you should definitely add it on. Very cool experience. Yes- there’s tons of cats. However, we love the cats. None of them interacted with us at dinner when we went out. I didn’t see any in the kitchen or in the dining area, despite others claims. We welcomed the ones who came by the villa. We got to recognize some of them. Some kept their distance and only a few let us pet them. The staff at Sandals Ochi are EXCEPTIONAL. I would return just for the people and the culture.

So, to start out we arrived in Jamaica and the vehicle that shuttled us to the resort had no AC and, on the way, got pulled over by law enforcement. By the time we got to the resort (3 hours later) we were dripping sweat and irritated. The greeting once getting to the resort was nice but when they showed us to our room it was on the wrong side of the resort! I picked beach side and ended up on mountain side, we went down to the front desk and the attendant stated that "this happens all the time" they stated even though I picked BEACH SIDE because I chose OCEAN VIEW it switched me to the mountain side of the resort. If this is a problem all the time, why don't they fix it!! What's worse is I had to pay an additional 650.00 dollars to have them switch me over to the beach side, they didn't offer any other option. At this point I was so upset I just paid the 650, we were so upset about the ride up and now this! I was super disappointed. Finally, we got sorted out the stay at the resort was nice from that point on, the food was average at best. Definitely not five star to say the least, the staff was pleasant, but it was annoying to be constantly asked about booking another trip and massages every time you went to your room or when you were trying to relax on the beach. I will say we did enjoy the time on the resort other than those issues. Now leaving the resort for an added charge (35 per person) you can elect Club Mobay which is at the airport. It is a nice waiting area you can stay at with food and drinks while you wait for your plane. So, we decided to pay the additional charge to since international flights have to be at the airport 4 hours early. Our van arrived to take us and two more couples to the airport (the van had AC thank goodness!) on the way to the airport we got stuck in some political standoff that blocked all the roadways! we were trapped in the van for 4 hours roads were blocked our flight we almost missed. We left the resort a 1 pm and didn't make it to the airport until 5pm our flight was boarding at 5:50. I paid and additional 70 dollars for this Club Mobay that we stayed in for about 15 minutes due to the roads being blockaded. This was absolutely the worst experience going and coming to this resort! I know Sandals cannot control everything, but they certainly didn't try to help us either from the poor trip up to the resort to the handling of our room this was an experience I would just rather forget, not to mention the terrible trip back to the airport and not even getting to relax at Club Mobay. when you pay thousands of dollars and look forward to a trip all year long and this is what happens it was just a total disappointment. I wanted to like Sandals, but they did not deliver. ROOM 4528 Thomas Johnson

So excited for this surprise birthday trip but.... it was not the best experience for our first Sandals visit. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon. We had a junioe suite on the Caribbean side, centrally located. It took me so long to pick that room. When we go to the room, I was completely underwhelmed and so disappointed. The room was very dated and it was hot. The next morning, we woke up and our room was hot, we were sweating and noticed the ac was barely working and on top of that, the toilet overflowed overnight. I das to spend our 2nd day at the resort getting us into a new room. Which ended up being on the Mediterranean side, the side I did not want to be on. I booked on the Caribbean side for a reason. Our new room was in the main building on the 2nd floor. This room was also very dated, but the ac worked. Then on 3rd day, I got the run around about our excursion that was supposed to be included with my booking. At this point, I was in tears and so stressed. One of the managers came over and made it right, she comp'd the excursion and we got it scheduled eventually. I was so excited for this trip, I worked hard and finally booked at a Sandals. Only to be so disappointed and wishing I never had! Not the best experience at all and I cannot say that I will ever stay or recommend a Sandals resort again. Positive: The food was great at Mario's, Barefoot and the Buffet on the Caribbean side! And there were a couple of servers that were so friendly.

After our server Timesha found out that I was a chocolate lover (menu did not have a huge selection) she ran off to another part of the resort and came back with the most delicious chocolate cake that I have ever tasted. We were married here 5 years ago and came back to celebrate our anniversary. Actually our 3rd visit. We love this resort. We’ve always stayed in the Mediterranean building. It’s so well maintained and clean. Elevators are an adventure of their own. Our butlers Marvin and Geoffrey were the best we’ve had. They did so much to make our trip great. They helped make our anniversary special. Highly recommend this dream team! Delmore photographed us a few times this trip and in the past. He is a magician with the camera. Can’t say enough good things about him.

Booking Number: 16615266. I don’t typically write reviews, but my experience at Sandals prompted me to make an exception. As an avid traveler, I’ve stayed at many resorts, but within 15 minutes of arriving at Sandals, I turned to my husband and said, “I think this will be the only resort we choose from now on.” The staff at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, especially Amilia and Delroy, who were personable and helpful, even though they were busy. We were there to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. Cilasi (I hope I spelled that correctly) gave us a quick tour of the property, learned of our celebration and delivered a complimentary bottle of Champagne to our room. During check-in, Keisha from the spa approached us to schedule an appointment, which turned out to be phenomenal. She was my husband’s masseuse and he loved the massage. Everyone at the spa was respectful and kind. There was never a shortage of activities to enjoy at Sandals. Every day, there was something fun for guests to participate in, and Lynn, one of the staff members, made sure we were not only engaged but also informed about the great activities available at the Antigua location as well as at other Sandals resorts. We met Kenrick, a fantastic photographer, who took some great pictures for us. He and Dale made sure we had an early reservation for our anniversary dinner at the OK Corral. The restaurant staff made the evening extra special by giving us a signed card with thoughtful well-wishes and an incredible dessert. As we left, the hostess, who had missed us when we first left, found us to personally wish us a happy anniversary and gave us a hug. Now, let's talk about the food—I'm a foodie, and I’ve never had a truly amazing meal at an all-inclusive resort, but Sandals changed that. The food was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic. The bartenders were accommodating and generous with the alcohol. I also want to mention Nerissa, who was always smiling and checked in regularly to make sure we were having a great time. Now, for the few cons—though they were minor, they did stand out. From the moment we checked in, there was hair around the tub. The room was cleaned daily, but the hair remained for two out of the four nights we stayed. It didn’t seem like the toilet had been cleaned or the floors mopped. On the third day, I happened to cross paths with the cleaning staff and asked if she could mop the floors. She not only mopped but also thoroughly cleaned the tub and toilet, leaving the room spotless. I expected this level of cleanliness to be standard at a resort of this caliber. There was also an incident with a security guard at the entrance to the beach near the lobby bar. I had forgotten something in my room and, upon re-entry, the guard stopped me, despite my visible room key. She questioned me as if I were trying to sneak in, which I found uncomfortable. If she was going to stop anyone, I would have expected the same treatment for everyone. It felt as though her attention to detail was lacking, as she didn't seem to recognize me, despite my attire and the fact that I had just passed her moments earlier. No one wants to feel singled out while on vacation. Lastly, I became quite fond of the staff during our stay, and as a conscientious person, I began to wonder about their work-life balance. It’s easy to assume that the employees enjoy resort life just as much as the guests, but in reality, they provide exceptional service at their own expense. I believe management should examine ways to improve the work environment for their staff. A more balanced work environment would not only increase employee well-being but also boost productivity, enhance the guest experience, and ultimately lead to more repeat visits and referrals, which would benefit the resort’s revenue.

This was my first Sandals trip and overall, it was great. I would do another one. This one is two resorts in one but we seemed to have full access to both. I wasn’t clear about why there were two sides but we had free rein on both sides. We went with a group, arranged by a travel agent, so we didn’t have to do any of the details. Perhaps as an individual couple, you could pay less and only have access to one side? If you haven’t been to Barbados, you need to know it’s HOT all year and it doesn’t cool down at night. That was the most surprising to me. Some of the dining is outside so be aware that it will be hot at night. The food we had everywhere was great. The beachfront is good but not large, you can’t go walking for miles on the beach. There are several other resorts along the beach and then it runs out. The water was warm and mostly clean. We only saw the gross seaweed mass once or twice during the week. The room was not much to rave about. It was spacious but tired. The paint was poppy, the ac dripped into an electrical outlet and there was no choice but to use the ac the whole time. It’s that hot. It felt like the rooms were old and need more than a new coat of paint for an update. The bed was spacious and comfortable. We had a balcony that looked out onto a pool. There are several pools and all were great. Overall, this was a quiet resort. It didn’t get crazy at night. There were 2 pools where there were games and events but that quieted down at dark. People were quiet outside the room. The only noise complaint we had is that our room somehow was next to what sounded like the dishwashing building for the entire resort. Well past 11pm, we heard no end of slamming dishes and silverware, to the point that we were convinced they were just smashing dishes. No voices, just endless kinds of smashing dishes and silverware.

We stayed for 7 nights in a swim out in the Hawksbill building. We loved the location and the swim out was warm due to the amount of sun it receives daily. It was kept clean. Our room was also very clean and we loved the bed. The location was great for getting to everything - especially going out the back and down the pathway to the royal side. We enjoyed all the restaurants we visited and there are many. The many pools are great as you could spend each day in a different pool if you wished. The rooftop pool and hot tub are great places to visit but not much shade. We felt very welcome by the staff and had many nice conversations. Some of our favorite staff members were Primrose from security who is super sweet. We often saw Chef Marlin walking around and he was very nice and informative. Dominique from loyalty was extremely kind and we had great conversations with her. John Patrick the hotel manager is as welcoming as they come and he is just a true island treasure. GM Bruno is out and about which we love to see and it was a special experience to scuba dive with him on Saturday. Great guy. The dive operation is one of Sandals best. Super efficient and respectful with the schedule, and the staff Is top notch. Loved diving with Ken, Seth and Captain Philip. Our favorite new friend is Liza - manager of F&B. She is engaging and helped us throughout our stay with dining choices. Overall the staff is amazing and the resort one of our favorites after this initial visit.

I was recently there as I was a Bridesmaid in the Irving Family wedding. The bride paid to have our makeup completed there at the resort. I hate that I must report that I do not recommend. The makeup artist that was assigned to me, was very unprofessional and had an attitude as she was being very ruff when putting the makeup on to include I noticed not one time did either of the two artist clean ANY of the brushes or eyeliner ect. They were very unsanitary. Thank god I brought my own products with me, however my friend one of the other bridesmaid did not and eye swole up the day after due to the unsanitary items used. The women on the resort just being angry seemed to be a going trend except for the young lady working the excursion desk. She was dark skinned and slender. I unfortunately didn't get her name but she was amazing. I understand that this is possibly a cultural thing but this is sad. When attending a sandals resort, you don't expect to be greeted with anger by women that you look like. I'm not sure this is a place that I would return to. And I didn't even mention that I too am a Sandals Agent.

Just returned from our Sandals Royal Bahamian vacation. Spent 7 nights there. Overall - it was a blast! We enjoyed absolutely everything! I would like to go through each category and share our experience and feedback. 1. Location, resort layout, convenience: 5 out of 5. Very convenient location, close to the airport with the ride from and to provided by Sandals. Beautiful beachfront resort, the layout is perfect: all restaurants, bars and activity venues are close to each other and very nicely arranged for evening promenade. 2. Beaches: 5 out of 5. They have two nicely maintained beaches at their main location and two beaches with snorkeling activities at their private island. The sands, the waters were clean and pleasant. We spent most of our time in ocean water there! And rather large stingray fish visited the beach when we were at their private island! 3. Private island: 4 out of 5. It is nice and quiet, but nothing too special. Boat ride to the island is fun. They have small pool with swim-up bar there, one restaurant (there is waiting time there), and two quiet beaches, but we liked the ones at main location more. 4. Buildings and room: 5 out of 5. Buildings are being maintained really well. There is some humidity in common areas in the buildings (it's tropics!), but they are doing their best to dehumidify and eliminate smells. The room was exactly as it was shown on the pictures on their website, no surprises. Very clean, no excessive humidity, no unpleasant smells. It had carpet floors in most areas, but it was well maintained and made it less slippery overall. AC worked great. Very cozy balcony with partial ocean views. 5. Restaurants, bars and food: 5 out of 5. We really enjoyed all of it! The loyalty dinner for returning guests was a great beginning of our dining experience: very elegant and delicious. We also enjoyed Caribbean, French, Italian, Butch's steakhouse, English Pub, but our favorite was Soy Sushi, so delicious. 6. Pools: 5 out of 5. They have two large, heated pools, each with swim-up bar. One is with daytime entertainment, music, activities, etc. Another is quiet pool for relaxation. Both are awesome. They are open at night too and we enjoyed it a lot. 7. Entertainment: 4 out of 5. They do not have large stage like other Sandals resorts, their shows and concerts are rather small and not so effective. But they are still nice and cozy. Piano bar is a lot of fun. 8. Service: 5 out of 5. We never had any delays or unfulfilled requests. Everybody was friendly and responsive.

After 14 trips and Diamond membership, discovered they won't refund my deposit. I guess loyalty only works one way. We booked almost all of our trips through the Loyalty Desk. They've always told us it was refundable. They changed their policy but didn't tell us this on our most recent visit. Now we have to cancel our next trip. Never would have booked it had they told us that the deposit is now nonrefundable. You have to read it in the fine print. Really disappointing after spending a significant amount of money with Sandals and they're being so inflexible over this. Look at other all inclusive resorts that will value your business and treat you like a real customer. We really miss the old Sandals when they made you feel special.

We just returned from our third visit to Sandals Royal Bahamian and we had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful, the food delicious and service excellent. That said, there were a few bumps in the road. We traveled with our adult children and their spouses, which we have done three times before. This is the first time we had separate Butler Service which led to a lot of confusion. Normally, 2/3 Butlers have taken care of us - this time there were 6! Our Butlers - Junior and Doreen were great, always checking in and taking care of whatever we needed. Our daughter and son-in-law had Walden and Samson. Samson was a gem, he took care of my husband and I like we were his clients too. Our son and daughter-in-law had CeCe and Lashano who were MIA for most of the week. Trying to coordinate restaurant reservations between them was very confusing. One other mis-step was we only had turndown service one night while we were there, a small thing but something your get used to at a Sandals resort. We didn't let this small things ruin our trip - in fact we booked Duns River for 2027. We have been to a Sandals resort 17 times and will continue to book with them.

  • Swim-Up Suites with butler service, soaking tubs, and private patios

We found the resort and facilities were amazing. The food and dining options were incredible, especially Butch’s. We felt the staff were either very friendly or a little bit rude, particularly at the pizza place. We loved the entertainment in the piano bar with Dale, he’s absolutely amazing and such a lovely guy! We found Zedane and Jared in the piano bar, were the best barmen. They were so friendly, energetic and had us laughing in the evenings, big shoutout to those 2 lovely guys! The activities were good. Entertainment in the evenings got a little repetitive (same songs, style of music) but were mostly enjoyable. Rooms were outstanding and massive. Check in process was very poor and slow. We were told to check in at 3 but our room still wasn’t ready at 4 yet others’ rooms were ready before 3 and had arrived much later than us. We felt the resort was a little cut off from the rest of the island and was tricky to get around the island without having to pay a lot of money in taxis. We had some lovely photographs taken by the photographers on our trip who were all very friendly. A special mention to Dario who was amazing. Overall, we would like to try the Sandals experience at a different location and would come back to Barbados but maybe a different area.

Sandals 2025 We visited Sandals Royal Barbados in August, before we arrived we were reading that there was a lot of sargassum in the ocean but luckily for us it was clear most of the time we were there. We stayed for 12 nights and were in the Azure building, we did hear dogs barking throughout the night which kept waking us up (maybe looking back we should have asked to move but as we had already unpacked really didn’t want to repack). The resort is beautiful with so many different wild birds, monkeys, little lizards and tiny little frogs. We ate in both of the Butch’s and they were delicious, also really enjoyed Soy, Chi and Merry Monkey. We did find that breakfast became a bit repetitive with not much choice in the buffet. All the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming, not sure why some people say they’re not as they couldn’t do enough for us. A big thank you to George and Ronaldo at the round bar outside of Bombay’s making us amazing cocktails 🍸 also Heidi at the swim up pool on the royal side, she works tirelessly and gets the team going and they are all amazing. Big shout out to Brian at the French night time restaurant, such great service and attention to detail, Also our house keeper Kimesha for doing such a wonderful job every day in our room. These people are a credit to your team but there are also many more besides. We did the free snorkelling trip through the resort and saw so many beautiful fish and turtles 🐢 which was amazing. I think the only thing that lets it down is the lack of entertainment, we did sit at the activity pool one day and the only thing really going on was rum tasting at 2pm the rest of the time it was some loud rap type music not to our taste 😂. Overall we had a fantastic time and would return.

We spent 10 nights at Sandals Royal Barbados and it was simply outstanding from start to finish. The staff are great, friendly, attentive and genuinely keen to make your stay special. The resort itself is beautiful: immaculate grounds, stunning pools, and a lovely mix of relaxation and activities. It's worth doing the short walking tour on your first full day to get to know both resorts well, it's only 30 mins or less and you stop for a cocktail! We did the snorkelling trip out to Carlisle Bay and saw lots of turtles and my wife did four dives on two separate trips, the Dive Centre and staff are great, shoutout to Ryan. There is no diving or snorkelling off the beach, you do this in Bridgetown which is a short minibus trip away roughly 25 mins. We especially loved the quiet pool with the swim-up bar – it had such a chilled vibe and we could always find loungers, which made our days there so relaxing. The restaurants were another highlight: Chi, the Italian, and Kimonos were our favourites, but every meal we had was good. The beach was lovely too, always plenty of loungers, although there was seaweed (not Sandals fault) it really wasn't that much, and the sea was always swimmable. The current is stronger on this part of the island but still very nice. We did not have a butler suite, but we had a lovely large suite at the centre of the resort in the Hibiscus building overlooking the beautiful, lush gardens. The suite was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Our fridge was well stocked, and a good tip is to simply leave a note each day of what you want more of and restocked. The whole atmosphere of the resort is welcoming and laid-back, making it easy to unwind completely and the bars and cocktails were consistently fantastic. Our favourite bar was the Courtyard Bar on the Barbados side by the main restaurants. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, already planning on another Sandals trip having previously enjoyed a Sandals hotel in St Lucia. If you’re looking for a great Caribbean holiday with exceptional service, Sandals Royal Barbados delivers in every way.

We are currently at Sandals Royal and it’s gorgeous walking around on a night the smell of the beautiful gardens is heavenly. This is our first visit to a sandals resort and it won’t be our last, we have a swim up room and the guys keep the area immaculate. The food is lovely although a little slow sometimes and a couple of the restaurants have been closed, ( the monkey pub due to loosing the A/C) I’d advise booking early for the restaurants you fancy like well in advance as they get booked up very quickly. Most of the staff have been super friendly and couple of grumpy bar tenders but no one can be happy all the time right ? My only complaint is we are here to celebrate our 20 anniversary and we didn’t get any acknowledgement for it no happy anniversary on the bed ect despite booking the romantic package of a spa day and meal on the beach, I did however get a beautiful ruby and diamond upgrade engagement ring from the on site shop at a great price . The entertainment is lacking here but that suits us both really we like to just chill. We have met a few couples who had done lots of sandals resorts and all claim this is the worst one they have stayed at, one couple asked to upgrade to a swim up room x3 and 6 days later still no response 🤷‍♀️ However our stay has been wonderful and we shall deff do another. Sad to be leaving tomorrow Thanks sandals 😊

Best Sandals Resorts FAQs

What should I know before going to a Sandals Resort?

Sandals Resorts are designed exclusively for couples and are adults-only (18+). All resorts are all-inclusive, which means nearly everything—from gourmet dining to premium drinks to water sports—is included. Be sure to bring a mix of casual and resort evening attire, as well as reef-safe sunscreen and water shoes if you plan to snorkel or explore.

How can I get the best deal on a Sandals Resort?

To get the best deal:
Book early—Sandals prices often rise as availability decreases.
Watch for Sandals 777 Deals, which offer an extra 7% off select rooms each week.
Look for promos like up to 65% off, free nights, or $1,000 booking credits.
Use a Sandals Preferred Travel Agency like Honeymoons.com for help finding bonus perks and lower rates.

What is not included at Sandals all-inclusive resorts?

While Sandals covers almost everything, a few things are not included:
Spa treatments at the Red Lane® Spa
Off-property excursions and island tours
Gift shop purchases
Tips for butlers (tipping other staff is not allowed)
Private candlelight dinners
Some high-end wine or liquor options (most are included)

How strict is the dress code at Sandals?

Sandals has a relaxed dress code during the day—swimwear, shorts, and coverups are totally fine. However, resort evening attire is expected at most restaurants for dinner. This typically means:
Collared shirts and dress shorts or pants for men
Dresses, skirts, or elegant separates for women
Closed-toe shoes are recommended for men at some fine dining spots.
