They helped me with my healing from a previous injury . Want to give a shout out to Balvin (bell hop) and Anwar from the bufffet for all the love and help they gave me. Rebecca was an amazing event coordinator (the silent head phone party and for show were great. And finally DeJuan from the Rum Club he really helped get the party started. Much love to all of them they made us feel like family.

My wife and I both have a long history with Jamaica. After getting engaged in 2023 we both agreed that Jamaica would be our Ideal location if we were to have a wedding. We have experienced many resorts throughout the island including Royalton, Grand Palladium, RUI, Grand Bahia, Half Moon, and Excellence to name a few. While visiting family, my wife insisted on taking a tour of the Sandals Dunns River location. I was exhausted, we had been to so many underwhelming venues all asking outrageous amounts of money. She said it was newly built, and the wedding coordinator got back to her right away, so I agreed. When we arrived, we were received by nothing short of a diplomatic welcome (no exaggeration)! The flags of the US and West Indian nations stand tall as you make your way down the long driveway. We met with Toni and were both wowed. Her poise, confidence and calm demeanor and ability to see our vision, allowed us to exhale and go with the flow. This leads us to today. We were married this past Saturday in epic fashion. It was a week's long celebration with 90 of our closest friends and family and we didn't sell the farm! Wedding aside, the service throughout our stay was also out of this world. From our butlers, Ricardo and Dexter to Joshwayne poolside and Rhenae helping every step of the way! All of our guests were thoroughly impressed with Sandals Dunns and the outstanding level of service we received! Deryk, you and your team deserve all of the flowers!!! Jodi and Tyler

We have been coming to this resort for over 10 years and it gets better every trip. Omar has added a new level of service as general manager. He knows everyone on the resort by name and is always walking around making us feel welcome and appreciated. We can't say enough how wonderful Gladstone and Sherrill are as our butlers. The beach butlers Romaine, Trevardo and Daniello remember our drink preferences year after year. I went scuba diving next door at Ochi and the dive masters took great care of me. Kemar, WInston and Dennis and all the dive crew are fabulous. I did a night dive that was spectacular. My husband golfed everyday and the staff over there are fantastic. Janoi at the front desk remembered us and made us feel welcome and appreciated. The level of service from housekeeping, restaurants, butler service, bars, and the water sports is excellent! Even if you don't ask for help, they ask what they can do for you. I feel so spoiled and special here. It's our home away from home.

From the moment we arrived at Sandals Royal Plantation, we knew we were in for something special—but what we experienced far exceeded anything we could have imagined. This stunning, intimate resort offered more than just ocean views and luxurious accommodations; it provided exceptional service at every level, making our 25th wedding anniversary celebration unforgettable. Every single team member at this resort—from the groundskeepers to the wait staff, from spa attendants to housekeeping, and most especially the phenomenal butler service—was outstanding. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail created an atmosphere of effortless luxury and genuine care. We were privileged to have Biggs and Alrick as our butlers, and they truly went above and beyond. They not only catered to our every need but also orchestrated daily special lunches for our group of eight that were thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented. A standout moment was when Biggs arranged a private jerk chicken lunch, a taste of Jamaica that we’ll never forget. Meanwhile, Alrick worked closely with Chef Lorenzo to recreate the tapas menu from Sandals Ochi—a personal and delicious surprise that touched us deeply. Meeting Chef Lorenzo in person to thank him was a highlight we’ll always remember. And the lobster Thermidor they organized and served to us? Hands-down the best any of us have ever had. Our experiences in the Wobbly Peacock Pub were made even better by Tricel, who was absolutely incredible. On day one, when we all craved pub bites, she simply smiled and said, “Let me bring you a mixed platter of everything.” And what a delicious spread it was! Every night, she took care of our group with a perfect blend of speed, efficiency, and humor—always making sure our drinks were topped off and that we were well taken care of. Breakfast was a daily joy, thanks to the amazing trio of Vanya, Staci-Ann, and Andre. Their cheerful greetings, attentiveness, and playful energy set the perfect tone for each day. Despite managing a table of eight, they never missed a beat and made us feel truly seen and valued. At the Royal Grill, we were met with friendly smiles and top-tier service from Stephne, Venessa, Wilton, and Sherika. Their warm personalities made our poolside lunches fun and relaxing. Over at The Terrace, Giovanni was another standout—efficient, personable, and always ready with a smile. The beach butlers kept us cool and refreshed, never letting our glasses go empty, and always checking in without being intrusive. The beachside service was seamless and truly enhanced our days in the sun. A special thank-you goes to Yaneike, our housekeeper, who kept our room pristine, fully stocked, and always ready for us to relax after a day of sun and sand. Having a spotless room with a perfect ocean view every day was an absolute dream. One of the most memorable parts of our trip was our Retie the Knot ceremony, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The entire wedding planning team was outstanding, and Kelly Ann in particular made the experience magical. She blended professionalism with fun and brought such joy and calm to the day that we couldn’t have imagined a better celebration. Omar, the general manager, is the heart of the resort. He is present, approachable, and genuinely invested in each guest’s experience. He greets returning guests by name and leads by example—whether it’s clearing plates, adjusting cushions, or simply sharing a kind word. His leadership is reflected in the warmth and camaraderie of the entire staff. The food at Sandals Royal Plantation was simply some of the best we’ve ever had at any Sandals property—and we've been to several. We also dined twice at Sandals Dunn’s River, and both times the meals were fantastic. In short, Sandals Royal Plantation is a gem. It’s peaceful, elegant, and run by a team of people who genuinely care. It felt like being welcomed into a big, extended family where everyone looks out for each other and treats guests with the utmost respect and warmth. We left with full hearts and already can't wait to return. Thank you, Sandals Royal Plantation, for making our anniversary so special. We’ll be back!

Our first trip to Jamaica Royal Plantation was in April 2025 and loved it so much I booked a trip for July 2025. I have never booked a trip to the same place twice (we like to explore new countries when we have vacation time). However, this resort changed my mind. I had to come back to make sure I didn’t imagine the entire stay. It truly feels like a resort for royalty. Everyone will know your name, food/drink preferences and how you to prefer to relax within the first day. We are low key - my partner likes to read under the patio or sun shade and I like to dip my toes in the pool or ocean. Every single guest feels valued (it is a small resort so you meet your ‘neighbors’ and have chats at breakfast or lunch). The butlers go above and beyond to make sure you don’t worry about a thing. My shout is to our butlers Anthony and Robert. They never missed an opportunity to make our vacation amazing! Finally, Omar…the amazing general manger. WOW. I have never met a general manager of any Caribbean resort, and certainly never one that is always present, greeting guests by name (and bringing popsicles to beach - for real!) I wish I could go back in three months…I think every guest does…but I will DEFINITELY be back within the year. Yes, it is that good. ❤️

Sandals Royal Plantation has become our little 'Heaven on Earth'. Our first trip there was when we had our 'Weddingmoon' in 2018. We went back in 2024 and again in 2025. We love the quiet, relaxing, and rejuvenating aspects of the resort. Our butlers, Adrian and Alrick, are always so personable and accommodating. The GM, Omar, is so welcoming and has the best memory out of anyone we know. The entertainers, Brandon and Nataki, are wonderful singers and so very sweet to talk to. We thoroughly enjoy getting to know, and chatting with, the waiters, waitresses, and beach butlers. Please do not hesitate to book this resort if you are looking to be pampered and experience a serene vacation!!!

We absolutely loved the property and definitely plan to go back. The staff was the most friendly here out of the other Sandals properties we have been to. Specifically Travis helped return my airpod VERY quickly when it fell off my balcony. Hensley was so entertaining at Kimonos. I had a special dietary need that I hesitate to mention sometimes but he was so good about it and simply said "I got you." I really appreciated his flexibility. Rachel at Cafe de Paris was also so friendly and accommodating. All of the food was amazing. Butch's filet mignon was so good, we went back a second night and had it again. The only meal that was subpar was swordfish at Neptunes, but hey... sometimes these things happen. The room was gorgeous, but a tiny bit dark. We saw them renovating, so I think the rooms (in Pink Gin) are being made brighter. We did have a few hours of disruption from work in the room below us. That was mildly annoying. The one main complaint we had was that they brought in heavy machines to the beach to work on their water issues. It was very noisy and disruptive to our peaceful vacation. My only thought was that we could have been forewarned and encouraged to make our excursion for that day. If we were told, we wouldn't have even known they were there for a few hours. Lastly, an act of God brought a TON of saragssum to the beach. No one can control that, but they did remove it about 24-36 hours after it started washing up. We had no idea it was much of an issue in Grenada. We look forward to visiting again!

My mom and I spent a week in a Beachfront Club room at Sandals Grenada. It was truly a week of paradise. However, a few individuals on the resort made it extra special. Dwayne Smart the Bellman went above and beyond on several occasions to make our stay even better. He truly embodies what diamond service means. One day, he was taking us to our room on the golf cart and I saw coconuts as we were passing. He said he would turn back but I said no, it’s okay. After about 5 minutes at the room, we heard a knock at the door. It was Dwayne with two coconuts and straws for both my mom and I. What a pleasant surprise! It was well over and above what we would expect. He also did other things to make our stay special but I won’t go on and on. I also need to mention Laurel the guest service manager. What a pleasant lovely lady. I understand why they put her in charge of the guest experience. She goes out of her way to ensure your every need is met. Finally, Travis our concierge was pleasant and helpful. Honestly, all of the staff were so kind but those above went above and beyond. I would definitely return and tell all my friends to visit this resort. It is a beautiful place with exceptional staff and service. Food- Breakfast and Lunch options were all good. We weren’t crazy about dinner. Found the meat to be a little chewy and the options limited for dinner. Although they have many restaurants, we preferred dinners off resort. Umbrellas restaurant on Gran Anse Beach was phenomenal. The Aquarium restaurant food was good but the service was terrible. The live band was fabulous and the drinks at the bar were very good. Pink Gin Beach- There are two beaches that are like coves on Grenada Sandals property. Since they are surrounded by rocks it allows you to feel safe swimming. The water is warm and calm. No matter what time we went, there were always umbrellas and lounge chairs. The drink service on the beach was also excellent. Pool- There are two pools one quiet and one lively. Chairs at the quiet pool always easy to find. More difficult at the party pool. However, we aren’t pool people so we didn’t go to the pools. Just passed by. Gran Anse Beach- was long and beautiful. Definitely worth visiting. BBC beach was shallow and very calm. Magazine Beach was beautiful but gets deep quick. Entertainment- what we saw was good. Our favorite was Andon!! That guy has such a beautiful voice. The saxophonist was also excellent. The island people were so friendly. We got to see the entire island. Make sure you visit Annondale and the Grand Etang rainforest to see the monkeys. We are repeat Sandals resorts customers and we would definitely recommend and return to Sandals Grenada and/or other Sandals properties. They never disappoint. Thank you Sandals Grenada!

We have done 7 Sandals resorts (South Coast Jamaica, Antigua, Ochi, Grand Bahamian, Curaçao, Royal Barbados, and now Grenada. We had the butler level private infinity pool room which was expensive but amazing. It was definitely the best room we have ever had at a Sandals. Our butler’s Davy, Jurvell, and Dawniesha were very attentive and kind. They did a great job creating a festive birthday of room service breakfast, flowers, balloons, a cute birthday sign on the beach, and a special beach seafood birthday dish created for us we have no complaints. The pool drink and snack service at the quiet pool you have to give a shout out to Kiselle she was awesome so attentive and I never went thirsty. The French restaurant we frequented for dinner and breakfast and Monique took care of us every time and she was great. The resort itself is very small so everything is close by not much walking. The landscaping was immaculate and the housekeeping staff were great every day tons of towels and toiletries (although musky and smelled like an old man) and exactly what women want in the shower just kidding of course. The beach is public so some people selling trinkets and spices but not terribly pushy. Most pushy people on the property were the Spa ladies and I had a $150 credit and never went just to not talk to them anymore. My biggest complaint which is why 4/5 stars is the Butches Steakhouse. Like I said 7 sandals in the past 6 years and this was by far the worst steakhouse and meal I have ever had at a sandals. So after June 30th it is not lobster season so I was very bummed but not their fault. I got the surf and turf 5oz fillet and shrimp. It was gray, over cooked, and full of grizzle and membrane. We ordered Mac and cheese and a baked potato between the both of us. They forgot the butter and sour cream and never brought the mac and cheese. The potato was very dry even had I had toppings. The steak was so nasty I took one bite and left. You should be embarrassed serving that at your resort and at $1500 a night you’re going to hear about it from me on a review. If you don’t have lobster than I expect a decent steak. Again minus this meal it was a good week and the food was good in all other restaurants the French, neptunes, and spices. I’d have low expectations for the steakhouse and you will be ok.

Sandals Grenada was a much needed getaway for my husband and I before the kids got out of school (3 kids) and we had a summer filled with Sports. Sandals Grenada was so relaxing and beautiful. The resort was extremely clean and they kept up with the beach every morning. Our room was very spacious and the bed was soooo comfortable I slept amazing! Our suite was in the middle of the Resort we stayed in the South Seas Honeymoon Poolside Hideaway Junior Suite with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub and it was a perfect location and a great view of one of the pools and the resort. The airport was only 5 mins from the Resort so it was closer to the Lover Lagoon Rooms so I recommend getting a room in the South Seas area, the Pink Gin Suites or the Italian Suites. I used the fitness center every morning and it was very clean and always stocked with towels and cold water. The weights at most resort and hotels are always limited but it would be nice if there was more over them so multiple people could use the same pounds. Our favorite Breakfast spot was Spices. The made to order omelets or eggs every morning were amazing and the staff were always so sweet and helpful. The fresh fruit was delicious we always like trying the different fruits from the islands. We loved hitting the swim up bar pool in the afternoons and before dinner we would stop and have a cocktail before dinner. Either Javon or Mario (Super Mario) were there and they made the BEST cocktails. They were very personable and ALWAYS smiling! They had the afternoons so fun at the pool dancing and having fun with everyone that was in there. For Dinner options our favorites were Butches, Spices and Neptune. We didn't get a chance to go to La Jardiniere but many of the couples really enjoyed it. The food at Cucina Romana was ok and so was the service there but they were really busy that night. We would end the nights by the main bar watching the entertainment for a bit and then going to the Tipsy Turtle to cap off the night. The bartender there made fantastic drinks and was very attentive to everyone at the bar.

Having stayed at many of the Sandals resorts I can say without question that this one is the best. Sandals 2.0 at its best. The resort location is both dramatic and beautiful. Nestled in a valley surrounded by lush forest and sheer hills it’s a pleasure to see. The grounds are kept beautiful by a team of gardeners that never seem to stop. The rooms are very modern and very clean. Turn down service is offered in the room that we stayed in every evening. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had. Some of the restaurants are very similar, in the fayre that they offer, to other Sandals resorts but the standard is on another level. In particular Buccan. This restaurant offers local dishes, much of it cooked over fire. It did not disappoint. It’s a sharing experience so you will be sat at a table with other people. We were fortunate enough to have some great conversationalists or our table. Fantastic experience and lovely staff. Other restaurants of particular note was Scrimshaws: We had some fabulous food in the evening and the a la cart breakfast was very good. The service was excellent. Alika & Onasha went out of their way to help when I asked for something the kitchen didn’t have. They went above and beyond to make the start of the day feel very special. Ariel was another fantastic lady who was always smiling and happy and made the experience a great one. Parisol is a restaurant near the beach and offered a great view for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly and always made our visits feel special. In particular Kamelia and Russelle at breakfast. We also had Joy look after us at dinner one night and she made our dinner feel very special with great service. Gatsu Gatsu was always our go to restaurant to start the evening off. Some of the best sushi I’ve eaten. We were made to feel very welcome by Jeffery and his team including Zoe, Shevina (Chevy) and Levi the Chef. The Three Jewels (rum club) was another favorite of ours. The two bar men, Lionelle and Atu, were just amazing. These guys could entertain at the same time as making some incredible cocktails. They literally didn’t stop all night!! The Jerk Shack was pretty good too. The food was great (recommend the jerk pork) and we were always lucky to be looked after by Orlandra. She was just brilliant. Enough about the restaurants. The resort has lots of different pools to choose from. The main pool was always lively and lots going on. The cabanas were very good but always booked up, however, from July 1st 2025 the resort began charging for their use and suddenly there were lots of cabanas available. The heart shaped pool was excellent if you prefer things a bit more laid back and chilled out. Although the bar is further away, the pool service for drinks was excellent. We had a room category that meant we were offered the chance to arrive at the resort by boat. If you have that option I would definitely recommend it. I would also make you aware that we waited for nearly an hour and a half before we left the jetty to get to the resort while the staff waited for more people to arrive. Not ideal and I nearly asked to get a taxi to the resort it took so long. Once we were underway the experience was a good one. The evening entertainment was also very good and better than some of the other resorts. All in all this resort hits all the right spots. Great staff, amazing food and very good service You will not regret visiting this resort. Sandals 2.0 is just outstanding

I am a loyal Sandals Customer for years and I absolutely love this brand. I only have 2 Islands left to visit, St.Vincent & Turks and Caicos. Well this trip is St. Vincent for 7 days, and where I always get asked which Sandals/which island is better, I honestly love them all for different reasons. And Sandals, they way they handle their business at all of them, makes it really hard to not like all of them. St. Vincent is flat out GORGEOUS!! It is nested between the mountains and lush greenery. The mountains actually have an active rainforest, no worries, other than the normal Carribean light showers off and on (dependent on season), the rain never came down to bother us, but I looks so beautiful to see it. Our room - excellent (Beachfront Villa Butler Suite with media room and private pool). It actually has more than that (too much to type)😩😍. The resort and all amenities (including pools, especially one of the longest pools I’ve seen, longer than an Olympic size). The food and restaurants AMAZING, the Staff and Butlers AMAZING, the entertainment department, staff, and shows AMAZING, the Scuba and all the Scuba crew AMAAAZING !! I’m coming back FOR SURE! You need to book this trip! -Big AL (room 2102) 👍🏽😎

I will admit that this getaway was planned to fit a multitude of requirements. Having a balanced perspective, allow me to explain that this review is for a more season traveler who is looking for a resort experience. With this being the newest Sandals Resorts and meeting all of my requirements - I took the plunge. And once again, Sandals did not disappoint with its location. However, please keep in mind it is an hour drive from the airport (your driver can make the time fly - which you may or may not have control over) Service, staff, room and amenities were fine. 1. Public Facilities: The facilities were some of the best I have seen. Staff were constantly reviewing the grounds in what I can only describe as 'Disney level concern'. There wasn't areas that felt neglected, worn or overlooked. The lobby is open and gives a wonderful view of the pools and beach area. Sandals staff greeted us with near song in their mouths and warmth in their handling. The greeting room as was actually quite large and accommodating even though there were multiple parties checking in. As I indicated, ALL grounds were about as immaculate as can be expected. And the aroma reminded my wife and I of fragrance garden. An added benefit was lack of feeling overrun my mosquitoes or biting flies. Now this is the raining season so the in speaking with the executive staff I was advised the property was at about 40% capacity. Thus, the property never felt crowded... but it wasn't a ghost town either. As you walk past the lobby - your able to see the various pools, bars, cabanas and buildings. In additional the the main pool, there's a heart shape pool as well as smaller pools and hot-tubs. I observed the staff checking the chemical levels of the pools and it showed their level of care as each pool hut-tub was always clean and pleasant, not overly chlorinated or cloudy. Of course, Beach towels are provided upon request and are plentiful. Walking the property provides the views of the mountains of St. Vincent as the resort is clearly built into a large cove. This does allow for some beautiful views. The beach is well maintained small bay. This gives you the advantage of avoided large waves and permits watersports of kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, snorkeling, and small craft sailing. Please do not expect crystal clear or blue waters or pink sand ... rather you're presented with a clean beach and waters that and inviting. 2. Private Quarters Our room was a top floor ocean-view. Remembering that the nature layout of topography means you have a cove ... you actually do have a ocean view past the bay. Moreover, the views of the mountainside were beautiful to see as well. The room was well designed with thought of wood cabinetry along a wall covering the wet bar, the closets, safe and storage areas. The bathroom was large with antique style soaking tub along with a very large walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. The balcony was well set back - the rain never came into too far even with the wind pushing it. The balcony also had a large soaking tub which beckoned us with relaxing sunset times. 3. Staff This is one of the few times and resorts where I could not point to a single individual who did not make every effort to make out time special. Everyone we encountered was warm and welcoming. Smiles, service and concerns for our happiness were all that we were met with. They were opportunities to simply chit-chat with them and in-turn they took time to ensure are needs were being met. 3. Services Room service staff was responsive to the electronic system of whether we wanted service or privacy via a keypad and light set up (you select Privacy or Service). This worked well ... if you remembered to light up the 'Service' light when you wanted service as the staff would not even knock on the door in the 'Privacy' light was lit. The service was top notch and if you advised them, the staff sought to address your needs or issues. 4. Location As mentioned above, the resort is built into a cove. You're not next to other resorts or able to just walk off the resort and appreciate the local area or even the locals themselves. You're able to see as you're driven - you are pretty much secluded from the local neighborhood. 5. On-sight Restaurants/Bars: Scrimshaw - This is a traditional seafood restaurant though it may become your go to if you're not early birds able to get to the buffet breakfast at Sora. Parisol Beach Club - Was your traditional burgers and what not. It's bar was a good place to sit an sip on your beverages and it provides seaside views. Buccan - This is their family-style traditional Caribbean restaurant. It does require a reservation. We actually did not have dinner there (but based on the preparations of the Jerk Shack - we have no doubts the food would be tasty and plentiful. Imoro - This is where we quickly learned was the best salad and healthy green bowls and drinks. Their omelets made starting the day easy. Isola Pizzeria - This was a smaller lunch place. We quickly found out they make delicious hand made to order pizzas. Butch's Island Chop House - This is their traditional steakhouse. The atmosphere was upscale as expected. The food was prepared EXACTLY as we specified - Amazing. Not only did that surprise us, we could customize dishes mix and matching appetizers, entrées and deserts. As with their brand, kitchen too the time to consider the plating and it is actually better than what you'd expect. Gatsu Gatsu - This is their Japanese Sushi restaurant. Yes, the atmosphere was pleasantly muted and the food was well prepared, plated and tasted great. They had an excellent selection of saké and saké derived drinks. Sora - The is where the breakfast buffet is located and at night it is an Italian restaurant with great dishes providing pasta and pasta alternative dishes. Blum and Crema - are coffee houses with both ice cream and expressos a plenty. 6. Excursions None this time. However, I always scuba dive and Vanessa was a wonderful dive master to follow and she kept me smiling across all of my dives. Overall I will definitely state that Sandals St. Vincent pretty much exceeded our expectations. This should not be seen or considered as a 'budget location' - but the adage that you get what you pay for - means that you WILL FEEL that you spent your money very wisely.

We booked this trip to celebrate our 16th anniversary! Resort is beautiful and would definitely come back again. Scenery is beyond gorgeous, resort is set in the valley and you are surrounded by lush mountains, tropical plants and a gorgeous beach view. A couple shout outs to some excellent service members at the resort ! Alron- aka Batman. He took us on a private snorkel, extremely patient and very attentive. 100% recommend asking for "Batman" for all your Sandals excursions. Jerod with Island Routes was the man! Even though weather conditions weren't the best he still tried to makeoir hike to the volcano the best experience possible. So knowledgeable and polite! Shoutout to Daniel as well for getting us to and from our checkpoints ! Ken- Manager @ Sora Restaurant Randy- Waitstaff @ Sora Restaurant Randy and Ken were absolutely amazing! We had dinner at Sora the night before we hiked up to the volcano. Besides the perfect service at dinner, they offered to have breakfast delivered before all the restaurants were open and delivered it ON TIME. Highly recommend this resort, every aspect was amazing. Staff members at every bar, restaurant were super respectful, everyone said hello when they passed by! I sure wish all Americans could come here and learn how to be thankful and not entitled..Sandals again lived up to its brand. We will be back.

We had the most incredible honeymoon at Sandals St. Vincent! The resort was incredible. The food was delicious at every restaurant, the rooms were so clean and the entire experience was so relaxing from start to finish. What truly made our trip unforgettable were two amazing employees — Omali “the one and only” and Darri! Their friendliness, energy, and genuine care went above and beyond. They truly made our stay special.

The hotel was amazing, great service, great staffs, I had a wonderful experience. The view was amazing, the restaurants each had their unique aura about them, they were all beautiful. The pools and pool bar were great, the bartenders there were all hardworking and amazing. I had a wonderful experience meeting a few of the staffs present. I met Nicketta from Tuscaninis restaurant who was amazing, she had an amazing personality and made me feel right at home. She was so welcoming and warm, very hard working and determined to make us feel so welcomed. It was also my pleasure in meeting Cynthia from house keeping, she was very courteous, warm welcoming and kind to us. She made us feel right at home. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jamie who is the retail manager who was so very welcoming to us. He was a breath of fresh air, he pointed out so many things we could partake of and also made us feel so at home. He was gentle and sweet, I loved coming into contact with him, he made our stay more memorable. Denver who is a bell man was wonderful to us, he was kind and very helpful. He was very informative and sweet. CJ at Gordon's restaurant was also very accommodating and very nice, he was helpful and attended to our needs. So was Phillip, great service from these two. The service there was excellent as well. Sasha from Dinors was great, also courteous, helpful and kind. All was amazing and very nice and welcoming. We felt right at home. Everyone we came across was very nice and helpful. A great experience indeed.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Sandals Grande from July 7th-July 14th, 2025. From the minute we entered the hotel, we were sang to (LOL) and received the best hospitality service I have ever experienced in my life. The nightly entertainment was excellent. Nelville “the devil” and Deasia went above and beyond as entertainment hosts the week we stayed. Ton of activities to do daily and the staff checked in several times to ask us if everything was going well. It was unlike anything myself or my husband had ever experienced. Great food options-portions were not too big-so you could still drink and not feel full. I would like to come back in the future-it was the ultimate trip. Every person who works at the hotel had nothing but smiles and great attitudes the entire time.

My husband and I spent 5 wonderful days at Sandals Negril for our anniversary. We staying in a club level beachfront walkout in the paradise building. The location was perfect and the views were stunning. This was our first time to stay at this resort, but the staff made us feel like family from the time we arrived! A huge shout out to Trevolyn at Perla. This sweet lady went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We also had an amazing concierge, Jermaine. He was so helpful. He had our dinner reservations made before we even had to ask. We enjoyed all of our meals, but our favorite restaurant was Sundowners. We would definitely recommend this resort.

Just got back from our first Sandals first Jamaica trip July 15-22 and everything was amazing! From whisking through Montego Bay airport in 25 minutes to the just over an hour long ride to the resort, everything was great. In short, food - amazing, we ate at all restaurants, Sundowner, Barefoot, Brava, Kimonos, Perla, Bayside all fantastic. Easy to make reservations, service was always good, never waited long, always got enough food and drink! Perla was our favourite for lunch right on the beach, beef and curried chicken patties are a must try! The pizza was also a tasty meal on the beach. The room - Longshore luxury, great room, good size, bathroom and shower were great. Not much of a sitting area but why sit in your room when the resort has so many beautiful views. Always clean, towels stocked, bar stocked and filled daily, turn down service at night was also a nice touch. Resort - very clean, hard working grounds crew, some Reno’s going on, hardly noticed, a bit of power sawing in the afternoon but nothing that would ruin any trip. Easy to navigate the grounds, everything is close and beachfront which is great. Our room faced the road in front of resort , a bit noisy in the morning but we were up anyways, no point in sleeping away your vacation in the room.. that’s what the beach is for! The Beach - amazing, white soft sand, clear water, there is sea grass growing at the bottom, had some guys removing it the week we were there, always enough loungers in the shade at any time of day to grab a spot. Beach vendors walk up and down all day, not many but they are there, easy to say no thanks and they move on, not pushy at all. We walked the beach to the Beaches resort 25 mins away and they have zero sea grass, really wide beach area with tons of absolutely clear waters, very similar to Cuba’s beaches if you’ve been. Must be Sandals location as to why the sea grass but not a big deal at the end of the day. No waves, all the water super calm. Hotel Vibe - people of all ages, good mix, I’d say most were 25-50, gets rather quiet at night after the shows but they have a great DJ and Karaoke for the entertainment afterwards… was fun hanging around the main bar or the piano bar to drink, dance, watch and sing! Staff was amazing, seriously blown away, everyone was just so friendly, helpful, smiling, happy, and I mean like everyone. Never took long waiting for a drink, waiting for food, waiting for anything. Watersports was awesome, we snorkeled, glass bottom, kayak, Hobie cat, water trike, tubing multiple times… again everyone was friendly and helpful, had so much fun, and it’s all included which makes it that much more fun! Special shout out to our girl Anneika!!! Beach service by Perla, we never went thirsty or hungry with her around, always smiling, we chatted quite a bit and always made sure we were good as well as all the other guest she was looking after in her area. Such a hard worker and great attitude! Entertainment staff always worked hard preparing for the shows, all of them have such amazing voices its crazy, at one point I thought I was listening to Rihanna and realized after it was Lady Skye! Overall and amazing trip, we loved the resort, the people, the food, the entire vibe. Tips- bring an umbrella from the room at night, if often rained in the evening for a bit and if you were caught out in it you’ll get soaked. Bring water shoes if you don’t like your feet in the sea grass, heard someone stepped on something that hurt their foot. We just avoided walking the grassy areas when we walked and swam over to the resort floaties without touching the ground! Don’t miss the amazing sunsets… make sure you’re dining or hanging around the bar, beach or pool to watch the sun go down. It’s all inclusive, I ordered the mussels and swordfish steak at barefoot, 2 meals but great portions and easy to finish, had the tenderloin and lobster tail at sundowner, again two meals on the menu but I combined them, they don’t mind, all the food was delicious but just not enough time to try them all unfortunately. Our first time at Sandals, definitely not our last!

We recently returned from a 1-week stay at Sandals Negril, which was our first Sandals experience but based on our experience likely also our last. The resort desperately needs a full refurbishment, extensive staff training befitting of a 5* category and a complete quality upgrade across almost all dining locations. However, addressing these issues does not seem to be a priority for hotel management and they would therefore be better off reducing the hotel star rating to 3* to match expectations to reality. Pros: - The location of the resort along the beach is lovely and is the main draw for guests - Staff members are friendly if not always helpful, but some have tried to help when concerns were raised - Small gestures like a candlelight dinner and a dessert plate were made related to some (not all) of the issues we faced during our stay - F&B management specifically did seem to take the feedback on poor food seriously - Other room types in the Sundowner building for example seemed to have been built or renovated more recently and looked not just a little but a lot nicer than other room categories, although I will caveat that that building still had visible black mould and missing finishes - Breakfast and lunch buffet options were fine (if not memorable) and the Sundowner restaurant was also okay, minus the desserts that were dry and tasteless. Cons - The resort is in desperate need of a full refurbishment. There is some individual work going on here and there but it falls short of what is needed. Most surfaces and furniture is worn, cracked or peeling, and there are temporary fixes visible all over the resort that try but don’t succeed to paper over the tired feel of the place. Some areas of the resort feel extremely dingy, dirty and damp, and indeed there is black mould and water damage visible in public areas. - Our room category faced the road, obscured by a wall but still with constant traffic noise. This is not mentioned at all during booking. - Our first room had loud bar music pumping late at night and we found a cockroach within 1 hour of being in the room. - Changing our room required multiple requests and front desk staff seemed to only take a request seriously if asked at least three times, as well as not being able to handle a simple thing such as checking for other rooms without a 30-45 minute process involving management. - The replacement room a few doors down still had the traffic noise but thankfully no bar music, however had some additional problems: a leaking AC unit dripping onto light switches (causing sparking sounds, very likely a safety issue); water supply cut out twice during our stay, meaning we couldn’t take a hot shower after a 12-hour excursion; and after a couple or days we found a cockroach in this room too. - Food quality was poor across majority of the dining locations. Everything from a BLT and fries on room service to gyoza at the Japanese restaurant were all delivered soggy, and general quality of meat, preparation etc was well below what any hotel claiming a 5* category should be happy serving out. The best meals we had all holiday were outside the resort and almost everywhere we experienced outside the resort had better food. - F&B service is also very inconsistent, for example the Spanish tapas restaurant inexplicably deciding to serve tapas as if they were each a tiny individual course, leaving us to eat a few pieces of cauliflower before it got cold while we awaited another dish that should really have accompanied it. Bar service across the resort can also be extremely slow even with relatively few orders. - Difficult to prove one way or another but the drinks definitely seemed to be watered down, or alternatively my alcohol tolerance may have increased 5x while in Jamaica. - General customer service across the resort is friendly but incompetent and as a guest is exhausting. Every single request, no matter how simple, takes multiple follow-ups and the timings given are never stuck to. In one (of many) examples we required a total 6 conversations with staff over two days just to get some laundry done. Nothing that staff say will be done can be trusted to actually be done. - Staff also moved our belongings from sun loungers twice: first I will chalk up as an honest mistake as they thought our things belonged to another guest who had left the resort that day. On the second occasion though we never got our belongings back as they misplaced them. Luckily there were no valuables just magazines and sun lotion but the principle is the same. - While we spoke to the F&B management when the food issues were raised, when other issues were raised we have had no further reply from the hotel management.

We had an amazing time and would like to commend those who have made our stay so special. From the beginning Lotoya (loyalty manager) welcomed us and made us feel at home. Casseana from redlane spa did a spectacular job with my hair and makeup for our vow renewal. Tevar and Kevin took great care of us at the Rondovals helping a lot with our wedding day. Kemar (Manager)was a life saver helping press my wedding gown after I burnt my hand. O’Neill from the photoshop took amazing photos and is extremely humble. The resort chefs and servers have been amazing with my allergies, Enrique and Tedroy went out of their way to make sure my meals were safe. Lastly, Radcliffe and Annika have been very kind and helpful with our room. Our butlers Stephen and Rayon also went above and beyond making our stay at the bungalows perfect. Highly recommend the resort and the staff.

We spent a week at Sandals South Coast in July 2025. We had been to a few other Sandals previously and had good experiences. This was by far the best of the Sandals we have visited. The staff was phenomenal! We cannot say enough good words about them. Our butlers Alicia and Tiffany were outstanding. Shemar took us out on the Hobie Cat and showed my husband how to sail - he was so kind and helpful! The restaurant chefs met with me, as I have food allergies/intolerances and they were wonderful - meals were delicious! The breakfast buffets could not have been better!! Every restaurant had kind and attentive staff - Juleyanne at Bayside was a beautiful hostess!! Our room was spotless! The beach was beautiful! We could not have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back! Well done Sandals South Coast!!

We stayed at Sandals South Coast for our anniversary and had such a great time. The resort is absolutely beautiful—huge property, quiet beach areas, and some really good restaurants (especially loved Eleanor’s). If you’re booking, I highly recommend getting the private transfer instead of the shuttle. We made the mistake of doing the shuttle when we arrived, and it was pretty stressful. The private ride on the way back was smooth and relaxing, and our driver, Nikolai, was so kind and knowledgeable. We did a vow renewal while we were there, and I can’t say enough good things about Chevelle, our coordinator. It actually rained that afternoon, but she handled everything so calmly and made sure the ceremony still felt special. Khalia at the front desk also helped us out during checkout and was super friendly—just one of those people who makes things easier. We’ll definitely be back. Already missing it.

Francois, This artist’s voice is nothing short of breathtaking — effortlessly blending the raw soul of reggae with the power of gospel, the smoothness of R&B, and the lyrical sharpness of dancehall. Whether performing an intimate acoustic ballad or a high-energy anthem, their vocal range is controlled, expressive, and deeply moving. There’s a richness in their tone and a clarity in their delivery that can only come from natural talent honed through years of dedication.

We chose this resort to celebrate our anniversary, and we had a wonderful time. Our butlers were amazing Oneolla, Shervon and Tyler. SAM from the main pool made our week. This was our 15 trip to sandals and there was no one like SAM (Play Maker) at any of the other resorts. Her energy and her personality was like no other. Destiny and Dylan were also amazing. Captain nick (entertainment team manager) great team you have great job. Patrick (duty manager) it was a pleasure talking to him. Jonathan (Bar Manager) great guy. Sharon (Resort Manager) thank you and your wonderful staff. You have an awesome team and a beautiful resort. Can’t wait to come back. Big Tee & Paulette Varvaro.

We went to Halcyon to celebrate a wedding anniversary. First, the negatives. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent and the Bistro restaurant service was very slow. That said, there were many more positives at Halcyon to enjoy: - The site is very nice, providing a laid back atmosphere without being boring. - The staff overall was very friendly and accommodating. Would like to go and see them again. - Dylan, Captain Neil, and Samali were amazing activities people and very personable. We enjoyed their presences greatly. - Anna was one of our favorite waitresses, a joy to be around. - All the bartenders were very good, but Chris and Shaquille stood out above the rest. They both are very personable, easy to be around. Shaquille worked with us on studying different types of gin. - Nicole made sure we were well served around the pool during the day - Adam (concierge office) went over and above to both acknowledge our anniversary and take care of other needs. - Finally, Shadullah (wedding planner) set up multiple pleasant surprises for us throughout the week, even though we weren't on her radar as a wedding couple.

My husband and I stayed at Sandals Halcyon for our anniversary. All of the staff were beyond amazing!! The entertainment team was so much fun from the pool activities during the day to turning everyone up at night (Dylan’s dance moves, Jay on the DJ). We really enjoyed everyone! Please also find Delores at Bistro, Lashawn (entertainment crew), and Vince (bartender) and you won’t be disappointed.. they are such amazing people! They really made our anniversary trip special. The food and night entertainment was perfect. We also got massages which were exceptional. Thank you Dylan, Jay, Vince, and Lashawn for making this trip memorable!! Also there was one bartender at the night bar that would dance and have such a good time while making drinks (sorry for forgetting your name)! The employees felt like friends and my husband and I were both a little sad to leave. We really enjoyed them! 🫶🏽 #sandalshalcyon #itsavibe #alllove

We had an amazing stay at Sandals Halcyon. The staff was welcoming, the food was amazing and the grounds were beautiful. We stayed in the Rondavel which was very comfortable and well designed. The staff at the pool bars were outstanding and the pizza truck near the lazy river pool was delicious. Our butlers Vito and Sam made our trip even more memorable. We celebrated my husband's birthday during our stay. They decorated our room, our beach area and provided many surprised in the room for us. We truly felt special during our stay. This resort in more low key than other Sandals resorts which we enjoyed. We enjoyed meals at almost every restaurant and they all were great.

We just got back from our honeymoon at sandals halycon beach and we had the best time. This resort is the quiter one out of the 3 in st lucia but it was so romantic and cosy with the fire pits , perfect for a honeymoon! We upgraded our room to an walk out ocean honeymoon suite club level and it was probably the best room weve ever stayed in abroad , was fantastic! Fully stocked bar, hot tub on your terrace over looking the ocean, hummingbirds on a morning, just perfect. Big shout out to Adam in the club concierge, he was amazing from start to finsih, he went bove and beyond to make our stay so special, he was there any time you needed him and so helpful and professional, well done! On the bar we would like to thank Josi, Vince and Ryan, you guys were so attentive and happy, nothing was ever an issue and the cocktail were top tier. The food was excellent, if you do go make sure to go to the other resorts to try their al carte restaurants too. The sushi bar at halycon is just immense!!! Would recommend to them putting more frequent shuttles on to the other hotels, they are put on every 2 hours so its hard to plan your nights, every half hour or every hour would be so much better! Also (if i was being super picky) they put a massive amount of ice in every drink, often waters down the juice and cocktails. But apart from that it was incredible and we will definetly be returning to sandals Megan and tom

Back at our favorite Sandals with the best dive team! Thank you especially to Corwin, Roddy, and Joyann! Another unforgettable trip and some amazing dives! This property is stunning, and the two tiered infinity pool is heaven. Love all the restaurants but don’t miss Butch’s, Vincent, and Gatsu Gatsu. The diving here is reason enough to come regularly: turtles, eels, angel fish, lobsters, and beautiful reefs. I started off as a very nervous relatively new diver a few years ago and did my AOW here. This team is top notch and put you right at ease. You learn so much from them just on daily dives, and there’s plenty of opportunity for extra courses and dives to suite your desires. Feeling immensely thankful to be back here again.

We have a fabulous stay at the end of March into April. Since I'm planning our next visit, I realized the need to give Joanne at the dive shop some recognition. She is attentive, kind and helpful and wonderful to interact with. In fact, one day I took my wife down to visit the shop and she made certain her co-worker answered the phone in the correct manner and I was so impressed with her training and professionalism. As we browsed the shop, I overheard her mention to another co-worker how important it would be to schedule a dive team bowling night in the near future! Between Corwyn and his incredible diving instruction, Rowdy as well, and Joanne at the helm in the office I cannot give them enough credit for ensuring it was a memorable trip! Cannot wait to go back!

Overrated. Simply put. Paid up to get a butler room, which was of minimal value outside of reserving some pool chairs. Don't let them lie to you, the resort isn't that busy, they're rotating which restaurants they were shutting down due to lack of capacity. There is island time and whatever we experienced which was just awful. Food took forever, drinks took forever and the butlers we had were incredibly lazy when compared to others with similar rooms. No need to tell the restaurant what temperature you want your food, it's coming out well well well done regardless. Multiple nights we'd not received our main dish while others sat at the same time were leaving. Room service breakfast was only correct 1 day out of 5. There is no real beach at the resort, just a very small area at the far end. The only reason to go here is you love a pool and want to drink watered down drinks all day. My favorite part of the trip was a hair cut. They had someone cut my hair who was not the barber and the shaved the side of my head instead of trimming it. It set off a series of issues that required them to call in the "real barber" who was offsite and does all of their wedding stuff. In their haste to make it better, they'd constantly refer to my GIRLFRIEND and I as Mr. and Mrs, including an entire dinner table displayed with that. No clue why the staff felt the need to continually refer to us as that and then when politely told we weren't married, being given a speech about what is wrong with me. Hotel was aware of all of this, everyday was something significant and yet not a single thing done. Follow up responses to Sandals produced nothing. For the price, countless other things you can do with your travel dollars that yield a much better return Check the picture out of my shaved head that was supposed to be a trim. That was the first pass with no guard, at that point, the rest had to go.

Tucked into a protected preserve on 44 acres of oceanfront within the Santa Barbara Estate, Sandals Royal Curaçao offers a unique twist on Caribbean luxury. With its Dutch-influenced architecture, modern design, and sweeping coastal views, this is the first Sandals resort in the Southern Caribbean—and it delivers a more authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience than many island hotspots.

Guests enjoy 8 world-class restaurants, 3 gourmet food trucks, and Curaçao’s first two-level infinity pool, all surrounded by a rugged, naturally beautiful landscape. Plus, the resort’s proximity to Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers colorful colonial charm and cultural excursions.

Culinary & Amenities Highlights:

  • 8 restaurants and 3 food trucks offering international flavors, including Latin fusion and Dutch cuisine
  • 2 bars, including a swim-up bar and a beachfront craft cocktail lounge
  • Access to off-site dining with a $250 dine-out credit for Butler Suite guests
  • Unique amenities like MINI Cooper convertibles included with certain room categories

Why We Love It:

  • Boat trips to Klein Curaçao, a tiny uninhabited island with some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean
  • Scuba diving, sunset catamaran cruises, and curated local excursions
  • Largest reception space of any Sandals resort—perfect for weddings and large gatherings
  • The tranquil setting offers a slower pace for couples who want to explore more and relax deeply

Key Considerations:

  • 25-minute transfer from Curaçao International Airport (CUR); scenic and stress-free
  • Popular excursions (Klein Curaçao, Willemstad tours, sunset cruises) book quickly—reserve in advance
  • Best for couples looking for rich culture, privacy, and an upscale, low-tourism experience

Pro Tip: Book a Kurason Island Poolside Butler Bungalow for swim-up access, a soaking tub for two, and a MINI Cooper to explore the island at your leisure.

There were so many great things about our trip to this resort, but I wish I would have known some of the negatives ahead of time. The food quality and service was really hit or miss. Our check in was past 4, so we couldn’t book reservations at any of the reservations required spots that day. We went to the walk in spot and it wasn’t very busy. It took 20 minutes to get drinks and over 2 hours to get our food. 4 tables who were sat after us received their food before us. When the food came out not all of the dishes were correct and it was ok quality. Fast forward on our trip, food service was much better at the reservation restaurants and quality was much better. Thai = some dishes were a bit bland but some were phenomenal. French = everything we tasted was great. The pub of all places which we didn’t even realize until the last day served food was GREAT (and the fastest)! Bartenders throughout were friendly and pretty fast. Sometimes they seemed to get annoyed with making shots. We weren’t ordering them non-stop, but still they weren’t thrilled. The entertainment team members were great! Tasheka, Happy Feet, and Dr. Smooth - you guys were great. Shout out to Marsha for slipping a mini- silent disco for us! We obviously came to this resort expecting and wanting a couples resort that wasn’t a rave party, but we weren’t expecting it to be quite so low key. The fire show and the one love show were great! We went over to the Montego Bay resort for one of the days to play pickleball and hang out. The pools at both are very small compared to resorts we are used to, but the layout and modern style of the Montego Bay is more youthful. Royal Caribbean is a bit more dated and needs some repairs and maybe a little modernization in some spots. Would we go to Sandals again based on our experience? Yes? But, if you’re 20-40, I would consider some of the other resort chains we’ve gone to first for the price we paid for this trip. If you’re looking for a quaint, romantic get away with phenomenal views and great overall service, I would however recommend this to be added to your short list!

In addition to being poorly trained and informed much of the staff is not friendly , particularly the bar and server staff . We traveled last week for 5 nights with our 2 adult children and their significant others. That meant there were 6 people reading reviews in advance, needing coordination with meal fables, etc. We decided to try the Butler level category for the first time, hoping it would ease our coordination burden. WOW. I will get to Sherry Ann and Roland in a minute, but first the things we read online in advance that had us worried. Construction: Yes, the overwater bungalows were all being refurbished, but it had zero impact on our trip. Construction Noise: I guess if you really were paying attention, you might hear a random hammer or machine, but we were in the building closest to the construction and it was not an issue. Private Island Pool closed: Well, it has reopened and made for a nice “new” spot to enjoy mid way through our trip. Beach is Small: Yes, and there are not as many people at this resort as other Sandals, so there was always a beach chair available or someone (even beside the Butler) who were happy to help with towels and chairs at the pool or beach. One of our party had a food allergy. EVER SINGLE TIME we sat down, the server asked “Any food allergies?” And when we said yes, they immediately gave a menu rundown of what was okay and what to stay away from. And when food for 6 was delivered, they would confirm which of us had the allergy. So professional! Now, for Sherry Ann and Roland. They had carefully studied our pre-arrival preferences (such as pre-order of a birthday cake for my Daughters Birthday), helped us pivot reservation plans when we decided at the last minute to change (again, for 6!), made sure I was never far from a cold water or Red Stripe no matter where we were on property, and suggested some new drinks that were always a treat! Finally, the best example of great service - We planned to go to the Reggae Sumfest music festival in downtown MoBay, which was great. Sherry Ann coordinated with our taxi driver to have lawn chairs in the taxi waiting for us to use when we were picked up! My kids have made up a song about Roland and Sherry Ann after we left that is sung to the tune of Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry” (“No Roland, No Cry. No Sherry Ann, No Cry”). We were laughing so hard on the bus back to the airport. I would be remiss not to mention the so very many more that made our trip great but I’m not great with remembering names - The lady shuttle boat Captain to the Island was as skilled of a boat driver as I have ever seen, the bartender with the bucket hat at the island who poured drinks as if he had 4 arms, the Chef in white coat at the Jerk Shack that shared her secret recipe for the Hell Fire jerk sauce, just to mention a few. Thanks for taking care of my family. We have rebooked and will see you all in December 2026.

Sandals Montego Bay offered a great experience . The food at butch’s steak house dinner was awesome all around (surf and turf as well as sides). There were different bars and pools to hang out at and the beach was bigger than royals location. It was nice to have the option to visit royal location via shuttle (8 min ride) and use the amenities there as well. The room was clean and room service was fast! We met Akeem (entertainment department) who brought great fun the entire experience ! We as a couple won bingo and won some beautiful artwork prizes ! We loved that there were different tables set up for souvenirs and art to purchase. Food was good DRINKS WERE GREAT! Pina colada’s with Appleton floats were the best! Don’t be shy with the entertainment dept. they’ll make your vacation 100 times better and customize your experience for you. Yes, I mean you get better perks if you become friends.

We stayed for one week in July 2025 in category M1 beachfront millionaire one bedroom butler suite room 1566. The room was very well appointed, clean, updated, and RIGHT on the beach. Just a few steps from the beach, unobstructed ocean views. Bathroom has a nice walk in shower with 2 shower heads and dual controls and a soaking tub, double vanity, walkin closet, and a water closet with its own door. 2 smart tvs, king size bed, and a living room area with a couch, chairs, table, etc. Patio has a daybed, cocktail table and chairs and a soaking tub. Our butlers, Dane and Oshane, were friendly and very accommodating. They are a huge asset to the resort. Adair runs the overwater bar “Latitudes” and exemplifies what it means to serve her guests. She’s always friendly and happy to serve. Naseen works the overwater bar as well and always greets with a warm smile. We spent a lot of time at Latitudes as our room was a short walk from the bar, so we got to know them well. Damar from the bar….the living room bar, that is…always eager to craft your favorite cocktail…and Marlon….you must ask him about his Australian accent!! This guy is amazing, and hilarious. Theodore…a true gentleman. Amazing. Allan, a true hero. Thanks for all you do. Raj, the butler…. Raj… bro…. I won’t forget you and our experience. A genuine heart… we had a truly great experience with you as well. I hope to see you again. The list goes on, but those people stood out the most. And then there’s Wendy-Ann… one cannot forget Wendy-Ann. Thank you for your wonderful service and for making our experience amazing. Regarding the restaurants, our favorites were the jerk shack for delicious jerk chicken, the sushi restaurant, Soy, where Joel is the most amazing host/manager ever, butch’s for steak, and the ice cream shoppe for dessert! Oh we enjoyed the French restaurant as well. Do keep in mind some of the restaurants do not offer climate controlled seating. Tokyo Jo’s, tho a great experience, is an open air concept, as is the Italian and French restaurant. Not a bad thing necessarily, but if you’re looking for a/c, you will be limited in your dining options. Beautiful beach, wonderful people, nice rooms, great food, another great Sandals experience. I can’t wait to go back. See you soon!!!

We were there for a friend’s destination wedding. I had a great time. The accommodations & food were great. Very well kept & friendly, courteous staff, except in the gift shop. They are not very friendly in there 😼. Took an excursion to Dunns River falls. 100% recommend it. As an animal lover, it is a bit disturbing to see so many feral cats on the property not being taken care of properly. An organization like Sandals can surely afford to get involved in a TNR program at least. I looked it up & they claim to do TNR as well as get them medical care. Other than them being fed well, by the guest, I don’t think they are taken care of. I saw a pregnant one & all the males I saw are definitely intact & look sickly 😢😿. Also, there is a tropical bird, a macaw maybe, in a cage on the property. Why?? Some people in our party had a room close to the bird & it squawked all night. This is not fair to the bird or the guest.

This is my first time staying at a Sandals resort however I have stayed a multiple resorts in Jamaica before. I will start by saying of all the Jamaican resorts I’ve been to, this is the friendliest staff we have encountered. We are used to staff looking for tips whenever they help you however here there is no tipping and the staff are always willing to help. Location: The location of the hotel is a very short drive from the airport which is awesome compared to a long drive to Ocho Rios or Negril. The downside (for some) however means that it is on the flight path so you can hear planes landing and taking off. The reason I say downside for some is because my husband and I didn’t mind the plane noise and enjoyed watching the planes emerge above the resort. Beach: The beach is beautiful and is broken up into around 3/4 beaches. The water is clear and you can walk right in without needing water shoes. There are some coral spots so you can snorkel without having to get on a boat. If however you want to go out further to snorkel, the resort does offer hourly snorkel trips that are included as part of the all inclusive. Also, if snorkeling isn’t your thing then at 11:30 you can do the glass bottom boat trip that takes you out to the reef and you see the fish through the bottom of the boat. The guide for that trip was very formative and kept the boat ride fun and interactive. Pool: The swimming pools were a bit of a let down for us, they are very small with very limited sunbeds that get snapped up early in the morning and the sit with towels on them all day but no people. If swimming or lounging around the pool is your preference then this wouldn’t be the resort for you. On the topic of sun beds, around the pool wasn’t the only issue. The beds on the beach also had a similar issue with towels. There were limited beds that had shade from the very hot sun and the ones that did were taken early in the morning. Again, you would walk past at various parts of the day and the same sunbeds would be empty. Also the sunbeds in the shade were all reserved by butler rooms, so I’m not sure if it’s the butler reserving the beds or the individuals, but they would all have a towel and the blue cooler at the bed but no people. Food: There are a lot of restaurants to choose from, with the steak being the only place you need to reserve. We did try to reserve at the club desk and was told it is fully booked for our stay but they would try find something and to come back the next day to check. We did however book the Thai restaurant at the other sandals resort in Montego Bay. The next day my husband called to ask if we got a steak reservation and was told yes it’s 5pm on Friday. Meanwhile we already had the Thai booked for 6pm Friday. My husband pointed this out to them and they said o yes which one do you want to cancel. I’m not sure why they would think we would want 2 restaurants booked within an hour of each other for dinner. We did over hear other people have issues booking reservations with the club staff too. The food itself was average, my steak was over cooked at the steak house however my lobster was good. The noodles at Joes smelt good but we were underwhelmed by the taste. The pizza was not good! The fish in foil at jerk shack was the star of the show. Other things to note: - There is an app that tells you what is happening around the resort. We did notice that things would be advertised but not happen. - the airport shuttle is convenient however the last one to the airport is 1:15. Therefore if you have a late flight you will be waiting at the airport a long time. We ended up taking a taxi for $20, given our flight was not till 5:30 and the ride is only 5 minutes and we didn’t want to sit at the airport for 4 hours.

Our experience was two fold. Our butler's were wonderful, Sean and Navaldo. They were very attentive, friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff was amazing. They really get the audience involved and hyped up! They are all very talented and we looked forward to all the activities they would put on. Now as for the negative experience, which put a large damper on the vacation. We had a very significant problem with one of our excursions. I am almost 100% positive it was a Sandals error. We would never know though, because we asked for a manager on 2 different days, and no one would actually meet with us. They went through the butlers which is extremely unprofessional. Then the compensation was only going to be 25%off the excursion, which definitely did not meet the problem/experience we had. We finally got 50% off, but again, not enough for what happened and also with no manager actually meeting with us. There were also some issues with charges on our account that we had to deal with so unfortunately, all of this took up time away from the wonderful experience we were having on our vacation. But thank you to our butler's and the entertainment staff for making the rest of our vacation wonderful.

Our overall experience at Sandals Ochi was very good from the moment we were picked up at the airport until our departure back to the airport. The resort property is expansive and divided into three separate sections. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riviera—Honeymoon Beachfront Penthouse Club Level. Positives: Outstanding customer service from every Sandals employee we encountered. Comprehensive all-inclusive package with a wide array of private and Sandals-sponsored tours and experiences available. Numerous dining options with many restaurants to choose from. Well-maintained common areas and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the resort. Negatives: The mattress in our room was uncomfortable despite attempts to flip it; we regret not requesting a room change. Some guests were noticeably intoxicated, though this issue is not really the resort's responsibility. Restaurant schedules were confusing, leading to difficulties making reservations. They always seemed to be fully booked or unexpectedly closed. Additionally, some restaurants were out of the dishes we specifically wanted to try. Overall, this was my first experience at a Sandals resort, but I don't expect it to be my last. Remember to have patience and embrace 'island time' — it enhances the experience. Special thanks to Moesha (Cook) - soft scrambled with cheese...please, Kcvoy, Davion (Bellhop), Patrice, Neal (Cabana Connoisseur), and many others who made our stay memorable. Recommended! "Bless up"

Okay, so this was our 8th visit to a Sandals including 1 to Ochi before. Wouldn't have been there except my son decided to get married there. The wedding was well done and no complaints. The rest was so below par, it's laughable. Butlers were completely uninnovative. Swore they couldn't get scotch for the room for 3 days then we got it within 20 minutes when asking different staff. Resort isn't really walkable for butler suites so you're dependant upon others to get around. Service is slow at most restaurants. Breakfast buffets served in restaurants with no AC in fn Jamaica! I had relatively expensive sneakers stolen from our room. Altogether will never return but still love Sandals properties overall. Don't go. Let this disappointment die a slow death.

So let me start off by saying that this review doesn’t pertain to all of the staff. With that being said reversed racism is beyond real at this location. Service for the most part is non existent. Food quality is something I’m not sure I’d feed animals. Amenities lack luster, cost over priced. Up to 30 mins to get a drink and they weren’t busy. Twice we almost got ran over by staff driving golf carts like they were on a nascar track or something, the day of departure they almost collided golf carts as the one staff member wasn’t paying attention while driving. The room was amazing however our pool pump never ran so the water was cloudy and discouraged us from getting in it. The pools at the resort close at 6 and no one would swim in the pool at our room. Soda is watered down, food lack taste! Ray and TT the shuttle drivers were the best part of the entire trip! Learn to use 7krave the food delivery company is f going here. But I would highly recommend another resort because this one is horrible.

The pictures and descriptions do not do this resort justice. Visiting during the “off season” may also have added to the experience. The dining options were diverse and the food was amazing. I may be biased but Soy was the star of the dining experience for both the atmosphere and the food. Be sure to ask about drink specials at each restaurant. On that note, the drink variety was on point, staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were well taken care of and attended to. This trip exceeded expectations and was worth every penny.

It has beautiful beaches, lush grounds, and a relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind and enjoy every moment. A huge part of what made our stay so special was our incredible butler team: June, Corri, and Hunter. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, happy, and stress-free the entire trip. From setting up private beach spots to arranging dinner reservations and surprises in our suite, they truly made us feel like royalty. The food was also amazing! So many delicious options and something new to try every day. Whether it was breakfast by the beach or dinner at one of the many restaurants, everything was fresh and flavorful. We had the perfect mix of fun and relaxation such as snorkeling, lounging by the pool, sunset walks on the beach. Everything about our honeymoon at Sandals Antigua exceeded our expectations. The dive shop personnel were extremely helpful and very attentive to everyone's safety. The public beach vendors were mostly considerate and would graciously accept a simple "no thank you" and move on. All staff members were friendly. Our stay in the Corner Walkout Swim-Up Room was absolutely stunning. The room offered breathtaking views and a private, peaceful atmosphere, well removed from high-traffic areas—perfect for a relaxing escape. As expected with an all-inclusive, the food was decent, though not exceptional. One downside was that the resort wound down early each night; room service and most amenities closed by 10 PM, which may be limiting for late-night guests. There was a noticeable difference in hospitality between the two sides of the resort. While the Sandals Barbados staff were often less than welcoming, the team on the Sandals Royal side delivered a much more pleasant and professional experience. Check-in and check-out processes were a bit disorganized, which created some confusion. However, once settled in, the serene and quiet environment made for a truly relaxing getaway. This resort leans more toward calm and intimate rather than lively or entertainment-driven—ideal for those seeking peace over parties.

We have just returned from 10 days at Sandals Barbados for our honeymoon. We had the most fantastic time. I was a little concerned after reading some negative reviews but we did not find any of these to be true during our stay. Every single staff member was friendly and courteous - even just saying hello and good morning when we passed by - and we found service to be really efficient. We did have a rather slow service at Butch's Chophouse one night but this was down to a genuine error and they could not have been more apologetic about it. Special shout out to Dario at Portofino's who sourced some cider for my husband for his meal, Kimberley at Butches Steak and Seafood and Deirdrie our fantastic cleaner!! We had a swim up room and it was cleaned daily with leaves from the foliage being removed every morning. They made our honeymoon amazingly special. This was our first time in Barbados and at a Sandals we will definitely be back. Also, if you're going here, i highly recommend Captain Larry's island and snorkeling trip. You can find him on the beach in the mornings. It was the highlight of our trip!!

This resort is not worth the money. The first full day, we went to get breakfast at Spices and birds were all over the place and were landing on tables in the first two rows of the restaurant. The hostess tried to sit my wife and I at one of those tables try to say it’s not a big deal. We had to tell them no so they could sit us in an area the birds did not go. We stayed gone most of the day, returning to our run around 4:00pm and our room had not been cleaned yet. The second and third days were a little better, but the rooms still were not cleaned until almost the evening. The fourth was the worse day, the fridge in the room was supposed to to be replaced, which did not happen. Found out multiple restaurants were not going to open for service and all the reservation restaurants were fully booked. Went to the English pub, had to wait 20 minutes for a seat, to then be seat in a space that we ended up seeing roaches. When the room was cleaned they did not provide any wash clothes until we talked to management. We were told by so many people to stay at Sandals because it was so wonderful. I totally disagree!!! There are many different all inclusive resorts that are cheaper in price and provide greater services.

Overall, the resort was nice. Smaller property. Room was supposed to be swim up and we did not get what we expected, we did not love our room. Not super happy with that after the amount of money that we spent for 6 days. Staff in general was not friendly and just seemed very unhappy. We found a Cockroach in the bathroom one morning. Our Butlers were attentive and we were glad to have them. Food overall was just o.k. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and had no problems at all, which was a blessing. All wait staff and chefs in the restaurants did what they could for me. Gym facility was great. My husband was not pleased with the Dive shop. He did 2 dives that were nice but tried to get on a shark dive two different days and there were not enough passengers to proceed. We will not come back to this location.

Sandals Royal Bahamian blew me away. The minute my husband and I stepped onto the property, we were greeted with smiles and the Bahamian culture. We were handed a delicious welcome drink and taken to our room. We stayed in the West Bay tower on the 6th floor. Being in the West Bay was super convenient for us being near the conference center for work and the main pool area. We loved our room location and the layout of the room. Room was spacious with a brand newly renovated bathroom which was great. Our fridge was always re stocked daily and housekeeping came twice daily. Never any issues at all. What blew me away the most was the friendliest of the staff. We met so many great staff members who smiled and made us feel welcomed. Our biggest highlight was the gorgeous private island!!! That water was so clear. You can just float all day long. The restaurant was so delicious and such a great menu. The smash burger is a must!! The boats run very smoothly to and from the island which makes it so easy to go back and forth. The cabanas are first come but never an issue finding one. We sat under a hut and loved it so much!! We did dinner at the French restaurant and that was delicious. The French onion soup and the steak were so good!! We also did the food trucks, Tesoro for lunch, great pizza and everyday we did lunch on the private island. Never had a complaint. Breakfast was always delicious. For being so close to the East Coast and a quick flight, this resort is a must for all my New Jersey clients. I can’t wait to send many clients to this gorgeous resort! Thank you Sandals Royal Bahamian for such an incredible stay.

Let me start with the staff. They were all some of the friendliest staff! We’ll start with Brian. Our flight was delayed coming in so we did not arrive until 10pm, instead of 2pm as originally scheduled. Brian very quickly got us to our rooms, showed us a few things around the room and very, very happily chatted with us about rum after we asked some questions of his recommendations. We searched for Brian EVERY night of our stay to make sure we chatted and talked with him. Secondly, our late check in meant none of the restaurants were opened, except for the Merry Monkey Pub. The experience was made phenomenal by Jack! He kept us laughing and having a great time even after a long day. We made our way to the pub every night Jack worked just to grab a drink & a snack after dinner so we would see Jack! Lastly, the Red Lane spa with the couples tropical massage experience was 100% something thats a must do. We had Tiffany and Shellana. Magical touch is an understatement! We highly recommend them! Overall, we had such a phenomenal time! We stayed at one of the swim up rooms with an outdoor tub and know we can never go back to anything less than that in the future! Excursions we recommend that was told to us by word of mouth is seeing the race horses out at Pebble Beach at 5am with the sun rise. It was early but so worth it! The 4x4 Safari Tour was also a highlight to see the island and do some off roading! The only reason I would give it a 4 star review is because we felt the food options were limited and closed fairly early for us night owls. We are aware the pub closes at 2am but the food was limited and quality of food at all restaurants were good but not better than other all inclusive resorts we have previously stayed at for the price we paid. Otherwise, this was a great experience and highly recommend!!

Almost a perfect vacation except an issue with our room. As soon as we walked in there was a very strong smell. We should have said something at that point but I figured it would air out once we opened the sliders up. We unpacked and when to enjoy the resort. We we got back same smell. Husband and I talked out going down to see if we could change rooms but because we already unpacked we decided against . The room remained damp for the 3 days but we delt with it, however on the morning that we checked out we woke up and our iPhones had not charged getting an error message that the chargers we’re wet! We left 10 hours ago and they still are not working. I had to borrow a charger at airport to charge my phone. When we went to pack the rest of the clothes from the closet they were actually damp. I should have brought the issue up before we left but I was rushing around trying to find a charger and then had to leave. I wanted to leave this message so the issue can be checked on. Room 9105. Other than that it was an excellent vacation, great food, service and lovely grounds. My only regret is not saying something about the room to see if we could be moved.

We had the best time at Sandals Royal Barbados! The resort is beautiful and clean. We stayed in a swim up butler room in the Saint Lawrence Building. Our butlers Reanna, Jennlika, and Shontelle were amazing! They were always surprising us with things and would save us great seats at the pool. I loved our room and never heard dogs barking or other noise people complain about in this building. It was great seeing monkeys also on our walks back to our room. We loved the infinity pool, it had a fantastic DJ and Ian did great water aerobics. The bartenders at Lovers Lane made great drinks, and Mariam at the French restaurant we had a great time talking to for breakfast and dinner. My husband had a great time diving and said the crew was excellent. We had zero complaints at this resort, and will definitely be returning! the service all around was amazing and there is so much at the resort to do and see.

This is our 3rd Sandals after visiting Antigua and St Lucia and the Hotel and staff once again don't disappoint. However, the atmosphere and average age is very different and was in places loud and very busy. This hotel is split in two, Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados which despite having separate receptions and entrance is to all purposes one large hotel with no real distinct split other than an access path that runs between the two. Guests can use the facilities and restaurants in both Hotels which can lead to long waits for dinner at the popular restaurants that don't require booking. The food though is amazing and the two little coffee shops with its cakes and doughnuts are a great little place to relax during the day or early evening. Cannot fault the room which was delightful, and had a hot tub on the balcony, also the free mini bar is a nice touch with branded spirits and soft drinks as well as a bottle of champagne, although we didn't touch anything other than the coffee machine and bottle waters as we had sufficient while out in the resort. The beach is beautiful and we never had any issues finding deck chairs on the beach or round any of the pools. The water is a bit choppy which can mean the water sports were somedays suspended, but there is an artificial boulder wall about 30 feet out that takes the brunt of any waves giving a calmer area to chill in. The pools are all great and the highlight is the pool with the swim up bar and the cheeriest bar staff in the resort. The main pool has music pumping at quite a volume most of the day, but its good to go to late in the day as the music has tended to end. However, aqua aerobics was a laugh. Got to mention the 'Heart & Sol' which had the greatest make your own nourishment bowls and smoothies, and the bulk of the staff throughout the resort who are so friendly and really do enhance the holiday. It was a fantastic well needed break for us and we will be returning to Sandals again next year (perhaps a smaller one!!!)

Best Sandals Resorts FAQs

What should I know before going to a Sandals Resort?

Sandals Resorts are designed exclusively for couples and are adults-only (18+). All resorts are all-inclusive, which means nearly everything—from gourmet dining to premium drinks to water sports—is included. Be sure to bring a mix of casual and resort evening attire, as well as reef-safe sunscreen and water shoes if you plan to snorkel or explore.

How can I get the best deal on a Sandals Resort?

To get the best deal:
Book early—Sandals prices often rise as availability decreases.
Watch for Sandals 777 Deals, which offer an extra 7% off select rooms each week.
Look for promos like up to 65% off, free nights, or $1,000 booking credits.
Use a Sandals Preferred Travel Agency like Honeymoons.com for help finding bonus perks and lower rates.

What is not included at Sandals all-inclusive resorts?

While Sandals covers almost everything, a few things are not included:
Spa treatments at the Red Lane® Spa
Off-property excursions and island tours
Gift shop purchases
Tips for butlers (tipping other staff is not allowed)
Private candlelight dinners
Some high-end wine or liquor options (most are included)

How strict is the dress code at Sandals?

Sandals has a relaxed dress code during the day—swimwear, shorts, and coverups are totally fine. However, resort evening attire is expected at most restaurants for dinner. This typically means:
Collared shirts and dress shorts or pants for men
Dresses, skirts, or elegant separates for women
Closed-toe shoes are recommended for men at some fine dining spots.
