We have stayed at about 8 different Sandals resorts and loved each one. Dunn's River is small but everything is an easy walk. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Housekeeping was perfect! Loved all the restaurants and the dive shop was especially good to us and helpful in arranging our scuba excursions. (Shout out to Lincoln in the dive shop.) All the staff were exceptionally nice, helpful and friendly, right down to the photographers. Thank you to Javian on the photography staff for getting the guy to cut us fresh coconuts so we could drink the water and get photos holding our coconuts! Above and beyond! Our butlers, Rock-Wayne and Patrian were wonderful!! Our only complaint is the occasional strong marijuana smell coming from the areas where smoking is allowed. Actually gave me a headache. We wish Sandals would eliminate ALL smoking areas and go totally smoke free. There is no reason to have smoking areas in the resort. Hope they consider this.

Sandals Dunns River is an excellent choice! The service and staff could not have been more accommodating and happy to fulfill whatever you ask of them. We were club level in Mamee building. Our room had a pool/ocean view that was cleaned well, and exactly as pictured. Club level check in was easy and efficient. Spa was everything we hoped it would be. Food and drinks were delicious and plentiful.

We stayed at Dunn’s this past week and all I can is “Wow!”. This was our first Sandals experience, so we were going in with an open mind. The resort itself is absolutely stunning! So very well kept, safe, clean, and never felt crowded. The food was very good! Was it the best we have ever had, no, but all meals were very good and each restaurant was unique. We stayed in the Mammee Bay Beachfront room and we could not have been happier! We loved sitting on blacony every morning and noght. We could only hear the music from the resort other resort one evening when we were sitting outside (we actually enjoyed the music). I will warn, the rooms with the pools…. You are on display and EVERYONE will watch and see. We had butlers, our first time, and they were AMAZING! Are they needed, no, but they made our trip just at a little more relaxing and enjoyable. Eshaan and Dejhanae, you two are complete ROCKSTARS!!! You two were always there’s ensuring my wife and I were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Sandals is so lucky to have a team like you two as you are the reason we WILL be back 🙂 We flew into Ocho Rios and was very pleased! One plane, short lines, and only an easy 30 minute ride to the resort! Overall, we will definitely be back as we enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend.

Sandals Dunns River Resort is a picturesque location. My photos are so dreamy they don’t even look real. The staff are so kind and friendly. We were greeted with love from the time we arrived until we went home. We had our 15 year anniversary celebration with vow renewal. Tonii Ann made sure it was the perfect day. From a private garden tour with Petagay, who was phenomenal. She is part of the groundskeeping ensuring the beauty of the property gardens. She made sure I had a fresh coconut cut right off the tree. Then our butlers Reynaldo and Roger Neil, our R&R team… I cannot say enough fabulous things about them. We wished we could bring them back to the States to teach Americans a good lesson on hospitality, hard work, and customer service! They are a special crew! We will be back!

What an amazing trip! This was the most relaxed time I have ever had on vacation. It was worry free and plenty of fun to be had. Thank you to two bartenders, Jerome J. and Donavan who were at the beach bar and the plaza bar. They always seemed to know what drink I wanted and really brought the fun! I highly recommend this Sandals property and have already booked next year’s vacation!!

An amazing stay at SRP, it was bliss from the first welcoming smile to the final wave and goodbye song. Exceptional resorts need exceptional Managers to guide and lead and GM Omar excels at this, he is so hard working and he runs a tight ship. He doesn’t just manage he gets stuck in doing tasks around the resort and his hard work and dedication filter down through all his hard working and smiling staff. A special mention has to go to our 2 outstanding Butlers Adrian and Alrick, the Double AA team. They were the team that just made everything extra special for us, day in day out. We’ve never had personal Butlers before and now we are already worrying how our next vacation will be if we don’t have them as they had such a massive positive impact on us! Food, service and drinks are were all great, you’d never be without a silver tray served drink in your hand, whether by the pool, beach or bar. The resort is in pristine condition and the plentiful flowers and plants look beautiful as you walk around. Downsides? We came here directly from another Sandals down the road which is ultra modern, so the rooms at SRP looked slightly dated but they are in great clean condition and of a generous size. SRP feels like a boutique country club hotel, it’s unique and has won a special place in our hearts.

A big thanks to all the beach butlers, Daniello, Romaine, and Trevardo. You are the best at what you do and always keep our cups and coolers full. Thank you for making our stay stress free. And of course our great friend Lorna in the gift shop. What an amazing person she is and a great friend. We always enjoy your amazing attitude and great smile. Others in the gift shop that were especially nice Doneil, Karen, and Ashley. And our amazing butler Adrian. Just unbelievable what you do on a daily basis to make, not just our stay great, but everyone you come in contact with. Our thanks will never be enough. Anthony, Dulwainey, Delgardo, and Richard also helped out and were generous to lend their time for a day or so while also tending to their own clients. Thanks to all the amazing wait staff who go about their business with a smile on their face and a greeting to put a smile on yours. I cant name them all, but the ones we mostly encountered on this trip were Wilton, Stefnie, Sherika Tianna, Wayne, Delmarco, Romaine, Delmar. A big shout out to Chevon and Hushane who were at almost all of our dinners. You guys rock and do a fantastic job. Roshane did an outstanding job resolving a security concern and was prompt and attentive to our situation. Thank you Housekeeping was excellent as always, Avery, Natalia, and Natalie. To the people raking the beach, great job as always. The beach always looks amazing!! Finally the spectacular spa staff Rona and Marva, you were awesome and made our massages great. We cant wait for the next one!!!

OMG. Omar has upped the game on this resort. Everyone is so pleasant, polite and happy, they all treat you like an extended part of their family. They all go above and beyond, nothing is to much trouble. It’s was great to see a few familiar faces from our previous stays, Marvin, Lorna and Marcie. Also great to meet new faces to, Sequoia who was excellent company during our signature return guest dinner. Every good ship needs a great captain, behind him he needs a great crew, I believe that is what’s happening here. It’s well worth a visit

This resort is fantastic! We have visited 4 Sandals resorts. Negril, Royal Caribbean and St. Lucia (Halcyon). This one is the best so far. It is a quiet and quaint resort, which is what we prefer. The service is so personalized. Every encounter we made with the employees was awesome, from grounds keepers to the GM. The GM is Omar, and he is amazing. First of all to have interaction with the GM of a vacation resort is rare to non existent. Omar was a part of our every day experience. He remembers and greets you by name! He greeted us upon arrival, handed out popsicles at the beach. "Boozy or non Boozy". He would even stop by the restaurants and say hi, and ask if there was anything we needed. This is an all Butler resort. Our butlers were Andre and Johovan. They were great! Whatever you needed and whenever you needed it. Everyone said hi to you as you passed, The food was delicious! Choices are limited, due to the size of the resort. Only 75 or so rooms, but Sandals Ochi is right next door and is only a short 5 minute shuttle ride away. Rooms are what I would call old world. Dark solid wood furnishings. Some my call it out dated, I would not say that as the rooms are very clean and maintained. There are renovations underway in some of the rooms. We stayed in the Imperial Oceanfront one bedroom(All rooms are oceanfront). We liked it so much that we decided to book another trip to this resort. We are Sandals select members, so you get additional loyalty discounts when booked on location. A small deposit is all that is needed.

My husband and I went with our two friends and had an amazing time. We did Club Level Pink Gin Beach Walkout Room. Each Sandals has its own personality, so I'll share about this one: Customer service - 10/10. We adored the staff here. Take a walk through the resort and at least 5 people will check on you to see how you're liking your stay or if there's anything they can do for you. We were amazed at the friendliness and level of service at Sandals Grenada. Room - 9/10. We had an amazing beach walkout room that was very close to the "quiet pool" and the beach. The room itself could use a refresh, which I heard they are doing to these rooms but hadn't done ours yet. The waterfall showerhead was amazing, bed so comfortable, strong A/C, and the patio was mostly private with the curtains (wish they closed all the way). My favorite thing is getting up in the morning and ordering room service while reading a book on the patio. The entertainment is held in the living room which was very close to our room so it was quiet loud when I wanted to turn in early one night, but other than that we stayed out later the rest of the time so it wasn't a big deal. Spa - 10/10. I got a facial from Kineisha and she was amazing. I wasn't sure which facial I wanted so she combined elements of 2 different facials (totally above & beyond - thank you!!). The facilities were gorgeous as well. They also let us use the steam room and sauna, which I think is complementary to all guests. This helped my husband's allergies immensely. Thank you! Pools - 10/10. We loved having the choice of a "party pool" (with the swim up bar) or a "quiet pool" to go to. We played pool volleyball almost every day and it was so much fun to hang out with others and meet new people. If you went too late in the day it was difficult to get a chair at the party pool so I recommend going early. Shoutout to Jaydil (sorry if I spelled this wrong) for making everyone's favorite drink - the Jaydil special. There were also two jacuzzis and the one at the quiet pool was the hotter of the two, fyi. I personally like it less hot so the infinity jacuzzi at the party pool was perfect for me. Water sports - It was too windy for water sports so I can't rate, but shoutout to Jermaine for being the best diving instructor!! 10/10. My husband and I decided to get Open Water PADI certified and we're so glad we did. Jermaine was incredibly patient and kind. After certification, my husband even got to dive to see a shipwreck (there are several not too far off the resort). Entertainment - 10/10. The dancing and performances were amazing. My favorite was getting to experience some Carribean culture with the Grenada show. We went to many nights of entertainment and we enjoyed all of them. We were too tired after diving to do the silent disco but there were tons of people there having a blast. Food- 9/10. The french restaurant Le Jardinier and Butch's were my favorite - they had the finest food. My husband's favorite was the Italian place, Cucina Romana. We noticed most of the bread served before dinner was not good, apart from Cucina and the returning member's dinner at Spices (not a huge deal). My milkshake at Cafe de Paris was also very runny. However, those were minor and not a big problem in my book. I loved going to Cafe Paris every day and trying something new. What would have made things 10/10 for me would be having a Pinot Noir included with the included wine offerings and speeding up the room service delivery time (I would usually call right at opening which is 7am and the wait times ranged from 30-45mins). The staff did a great job making tasty strong drinks. MISC - gym was great, beautiful garden views from the treadmill. There were beaitful lilypads all around with tons of flowers. We loved the fire pits in the water. We spotted a huge iguana by the infiniti jacuzzi! Pink gin beach stretches far down so we loved going on a stroll. There was a project being done outside our room for a few days (adding more sand to the beach) but it did not bother us too much. Thank you Sandals Grenada for an amazing time! It's no wonder this resort has a 70% re-booking rate. Highly recommend!!

Sandals St Vincent 2025 Review We are blessed to travel often to all inclusive resorts and enjoy cruises. We had not been to Sandals since 2021, time flies, forgot how much we loved Sandals! This was a 10/10 experience during early June 2025. I will summarize our stay first, then get into more details with individual recognition or specific areas for those who want to keep reading. Sandals St. Vincent is amazing, beautiful setting, and the staff are among the warmest and friendliest you will find anywhere !! With up front honesty, not the best beach or water clarity of places we have visited in the Caribbean, Jamaica, or Florida’s gulf coast, BUT the new facilities, infinity pools, incredible rooms, amazing restaurants and warmth of the resort staff made for one of our most memorable vacations ever! We wanted a quiet and personal experience and this was delivered beyond our expectations. Get the Butler Service, if you are even considering it, do it, you will be so glad each and every day. This also gets you the choice or water (boat) transfer from the airport to the resort….soooo worth it ! Some quick tidbits; don’t miss lunch from the Jerk Shack (had 3 times), seek out the conch fritters and chicken & waffles at Scrimshaw, the crab cakes and Delmonico steak at Butch’s, can’t beat the salads like the Jerk Cobb, and the hot chicken sandwich and coconut pancakes from Parisol! Now the wonderful staff, this may get a little long and specific, but search these people out during your visit…..we must name and recognize a few: BUTLERS: Get the butler service !! Our team of Onika, Arella, and Janine were outstanding! Onika, on day one, met us after our boat ride transfer from the airport, gave us a tour and then went on the Butler Sunset Cruise with us. What a blast we had, she is so warm, hospitable, fun, and always right there for anything we may want before we even knew we wanted it. She was so attentive all week; brought surprise drinks by the pool, loved her hugs, always willing to dance, as interactive as we desired, made food/drink suggestions, amazing evening treats waiting in our room, fantastic first day pool lunch, got us a last minute spa spot, reminded us (we had forgotten) of our Spa coupon and went to our room to get it for us. Onika is simply an amazing Butler ! My wife and Onika both cried when the vacation was over. Of course all 3 of our butlers made our experiences memorable, whether on the beach reserving our shaded chairs every day, stocking our coolers (multiple times), bringing us surprise treats and lunch, to morning coffee and pastries on our patio by 7:30, to making last minute dinner or spa reservations. Nothing was impossible and every request was greeted with a smile and “you are so welcome!” Arella and Janine were both very professional, always available by a quick phone call, and helped keep everything perfect. You could truly feel and see the loving warmth of the St Vincent people through our 3 butlers! BOATS: As mentioned, we had the boat transfer to the resort, took about 20 minutes, was beautiful, and FUN! We met Avran, instant friend, he took care of us and always with a smile. Plenty of drinks, chats, and hello’s (by our name) as the week progressed. Had wonderful conversations with GG who went with us snorkeling and ensured everything was perfect. Boat captains (Thadeus & Sam) were both very professional and ensured our safety and overall fun experience. The boat transfers to/from the resort, the Butler Sunset Cruise, and the daily snorkeling adventures were all perfect! SERVERS: Javon, the bartender in lobby, young fella with a big smile and quick to ensure we had the drinks of our pleasure. Thank you. Also enjoyed Ken, bartender at Parisol, very friendly gentleman who even ensured our last drinks as we waited to depart for the airport were just as pleasant as our first ! Jahbarre was our server twice at Butch’s restaurant. He was such a pleasant, polite and professional young man. Dinner was amazing! Milan who was assisting and delivering food was the best, full of energy and so engaging, great job! Shanette at Scrimshaw (fantastic food!) and Shanique at Sora always had a smile for dinner service. Jeffery at Gatsu Gatsu restaurant was the most engaging, helpful, and passionate manager we met at the restaurants. We had no clue what to order so he asked us if we had any allergies, if we liked sushi and other items, and when we answered, he made some wonderful suggestions he thought we would like. More than we could eat and absolutely delicious. ROOM Housekeeping: Our room was always spotless and well appointed by Chanella daily. Never intrusive at all, invisible perfection. We never had to call for extra anything! SPA SERVICES: Wow what an experience, the Spa area at St Vincent is beautiful. A special shout out to Gillian for a wonderful 90 minute deep tissue massage while my wife had a facial right beside me by Oniqua. Such relaxation! Book with them, you will thank us! I could go on, surely missing many, but here are a few more employees that were memorable to us; Trancha (butler supervisor), Kerry (butler manager), Kyle (butler), Ronaldo, Johan (entertainment team), and Jonte (entertainment team). Overall excellent experience at St Vincent, so happy we chose this particular Sandals resort, the staff make this place amazing, miss you all until we return ! Connie & Rob Room 2128

Soap making

I did the soap making class with Adrian & kysha & nolliesha. It was really fun and they were very friendly! Will definitely be back to do more of the arts and crafts throughout the holiday.

My team from Schumacher Homes and I had the incredible opportunity to visit Sandals on a company reward trip — 35 of us in total. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The resort felt like its own little paradise — peaceful, beautiful, and full of life. It truly felt like stepping into a small, luxurious village where every detail was thoughtfully designed. But what really made this trip unforgettable was the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, joyful, and eager to help. The level of service and genuine hospitality at Sandals is unmatched. While so many employees stood out, there are three I’ll never forget: Omali – Omali radiates confidence, energy, and charisma. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and he does it with intention. He’s not just doing a job — he’s creating moments. His determination, attention to detail, and outgoing spirit made every interaction with him feel special. He has a rare gift for connection and truly leaves a lasting impression. He’s the kind of person who turns a vacation into an experience you’ll talk about for years. Nolliesha – Nolliesha is a light so gourgous! She’s gentle, kind, and has this calm but magnetic energy that makes everyone feel welcome and seen. She’s not only friendly — she’s intuitive. She engages effortlessly, reads the room, and brings a peaceful joy wherever she goes. Her presence made our group feel instantly comfortable, and she’s someone you feel lucky to have crossed paths with. Jonte – Jonte is the heartbeat of any room he enters. Hilarious, energetic, and full of personality — he brings people together with ease. Whether he’s making you laugh, getting a crowd hyped, or simply chatting with guests, Jonte is unforgettable. He brings a contagious energy that makes you want to be around him. He’s a natural entertainer and an absolute asset to the Sandals team. Truthfully, I have nothing negative to say about any of the employees. Every person — whether behind the scenes or on the front lines — was committed to excellence and making our trip perfect. Sandals exceeded every expectation, and I’ll always be grateful for this experience. Beautiful place, even better people.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and catered to our needs. We had a full service butler during our stay. It was very helpful for our dinner reservations, surprise snacks in the room, booking excursions, and time at the spa. While at the Sandals we ate at a variety of the restaurants. All of the food was delicious. Buccan was a family style restaurant where we sampled traditional foods from Saint Vincent. It was nice to meet other couples during dinner. The weather was lovely, very breezy and warm. If you are looking for a nice place to unplug and recharge among beautiful gardens, great food, and friendly people this is it!

We are returnees to the Sandals brand, many times over, but this was our first trip to The Grande. It's a long 1.5 hour taxi ride from the airport. But you soon forget that once you reach the resort. The resort is on the Peninsula, so your room will generally face the Atlantic or the Caribbean sea. Loved our room, which looked over the Atlantic. Spacious, clean. Problem with the shower, which eventually got sorted. The food is wonderful. We did have a few niggles with some of the restaurants that you have to book. But the staff go out of their way to try and make sure you are happy. The shows in the evening are exceptional. Singing, dancing and even fire eaters. Amazing. As with all the resorts, not easy to get a bed on the beach with shade, if you turn up after 10-11ish. The butlers will get in first, then the early birds will claim their beds then go off to breakfast or even back to bed! A bug bare of mine is people who have finished on the beach, but don't remove their towels, so that someone else can be sure that no one is using that bed. A bed reserved by a butler, wasn't used for 2 days!! The resort is large. But there are so many restaurants and bars. It is well set out. There are games going on by the big pool each day. We are divers, and go every day. It's our thing and we love it. The dive boat is at the resort, so no jumping on a minibus to get to the boat. Mon to Sat. there are 2 tank dives in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Sunday is 1 tank dive only. All equipment is available unless you want to bring your own. The crew are second to none. Safety is their priority. Any problems and they are there. Happy, helpful, just great. They took us to different reefs/wrecks. So much life down there. Met some great people on the boat. Thank you Torrell, Rusty, Ken, Kerney, Marcus, Martin, Stingray and all the other guys and gals at the dive centre. You made our holiday great. We loved this resort. Had a great 2 weeks stay and will certainly be returning.

My husband and I stayed at Sandals Grande for our honeymoon. We had an incredible experience and would recommend this resort to honeymooners or any couple looking for an all-inclusive experience. We stayed in the Caribbean Walkout Deluxe and felt the room was well maintained and spacious! We enjoyed all of the restaurants but especially enjoyed our experience at Soy Sushi restaurant. We got two massages during our stay. We had only planned for one massage, but our masseuses Albertha and Juliana were so wonderful that we decided to book a second massage with them. We recommend both the scents of love and the tropical paradise massages! We spent every day by the main pool. Nevil, Cassius, and the entire playmaker team kept us happily entertained with bingo, trivia, and mixology contests. A special thank you to the bartenders Francis and Peter for keeping us well hydrated at the pool bar! We enjoyed our time getting to know you at the bar while you shared your specialty drinks with us. (We miss the Peter special and Berry Berry already) Our only recommendation, which is not a flaw of the resort, would be to look into helicopter transportation between the airport and resort. Sandals provides a free shuttle service which was clean and reliable, but we would forgo the two hour shuttle ride for the helicopter ride in the future. Thank you to the entire team at Sandals Grande St. Lucian for an unforgettable vacation. We hope to visit again.

Stayed here for a friends wedding. I enjoyed our stay here. All Inclusive Sandals resort. Transport to and from the resort was spot on. They even stop at a view and shop to get some refreshments. Loved the activities like the catamaran, snorkeling and diving. Good food and drink selections so you wont get bored of the offerings within a week. They will try to cater to you dietary needs if you communicate it to them. You can eat at the 2 other Sandals (with transportation) on the island is a great bonus. Rooms are well kept and clean. Some halls had frayed carpet and painted plywood over the HVAC service panels. But this is an island nation and the logistics of keeping a building pristine in the Caribbean are difficult and costly. Love the swim up bar. Music form the pool area can be an issue is you are looking for quiet, so book you room accordingly. But is does quiet after 10 pm. Wedding Service from the hotel was great. We had any issues that pop up dealt with by staff appropriately. I don't think most people would be disappointed staying here. I'd definably return.

Although the people were welcoming and our Butlers Romanine and Shanice were absolutely wonderful. The room was "tired", the door shades were off or broken track, the cold-water faucet on the tub would not shut fully off, constant dripping was annoying. Complained at the front desk and was never addressed. The mattress was worn out and very uncomfortable. As far as the restaurants, Sundowner was the only one that was good. the rest we visited, including room service were "blah"! You pay for a premium product; we did not receive this. Speaking to other guests and they felt the same.

We had an excellent stay, all staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The hotel was refurbishing some bedrooms, but this did not impact us in any way. Our room was beautiful with a Sea view and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Well stocked Mini Bar and topped up every day. All restaurants were lovely, although quite a bit of Chilli was favoured by the Chef's, especially Brava, Kiminos was our favourite and the Chef's were good fun. We enjoyed a 'Returners Dinner' on Tuesday night and made my husbands day when he received another Leather Sandals necklace. Thank you to Romaine (Loyalty & Travel) for hosting our table, We also received a free bottle of Rum - Appletons Signature - my favourite!! We had some wonderful photo's taken by Wilby, however at $20 per digital photo (not hard copy), we think it was extremely expensive. A couple of mentions - Olivia, we both love you, if we could bottle and sell you we'd be millionaires, you are Mrs Sandals in every sense of the word. Sasha, you make THE BEST Mud Slides we have ever had, Sandals, please ask Sasha to train your staff on Mud Slide making! Jermaine, Vincent and Trishan for helping my Husband plan a beautiful surprise on our 20th Wedding anniversary which we had at Barefoot.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This was a terrible trip from start to finish. After spending a lot of time on the phone with a travel agent to ensure we had a first floor room, we were not put in a first-floor room as I had specified I needed for my elderly mom with arthritis who has already had one hip replacement. The folks at the hotel did not seem to care. They gave us a whole $200 in credit, which was barely enough to cover a pedicure at their overpriced spa. The place had little to no class. The food at the three restaurants we tried was overdone and/or flavorless. The little beach bar had good beef & veggie patties, but that was the best thing we had. There was construction outside our window and the a/c unit leaked in the room. And, to top it off, 10 of us got what my urgent care doc thinks was E-coli because we all had terrible stomach cramping, fever and nausea for DAYS after we returned home. I would never return to a Sandals, definitely not this one. I have traveled all over the Caribbean and been to Jamaica four times. This was easily one of the worst "vacations" I have ever had.

The room that they show on their website is not the room that we got. Our room overlooked a bush with flowers on it and a highway. Across the street from the highway was a warehouse and a field that people where in every day. we ask for a room change they could not accommodate us, which I do understand but their website is not true to what a garden view is in their picture. The staff was very friendly all were very nice. The food was all very spicy or very garlic. I will not be returning to this sandals again. We also asked 4 times to fix the toilet which never happened.

Amazing vacation at Sandals Halcyon!! We were at Halcyon the first week of June 2025 for 7 days. It was our third time at Halcyon and all were great experiences, but we think this was even the best one of them all! Everything was great and service across the board was fabulous. A few standouts were Deloris at Bayside (always so sweet and a big smile!), Michelle at Loyalty, and Michelle’ and Daliah at the Club lounge. We had a Club level walkout room, WGLT, and loved it. Beach was only steps away and very close to everything. Housekeeping came daily and did a great job as well as the staff kept our refrigerator stocked up daily. We only ordered room service once for dinner, and it literally arrived exactly on time and was good & hot. As far as the restaurants go, we enjoyed them all, but Kelly’s was so good we went twice and had excellent service and great food. No issues getting reservations at all. We did the returning guest loyalty dinner and that was enjoyable with good food and service. We also loved Kimonos and had Lorenzo as our chef and he was so pleasant, funny and made a delicious meal for our table. Also shout out to the Beach Bistro staff and bartenders who were very nice and gave great service for food and drinks. We spent a lot of time on the beach almost daily and we constantly had servers come by to take our drink orders and also provide water to beach goers daily. You have no need to worry about getting shaded spots on the beach. We always saw open shaded chairs at all different times of the day. The water was nice and clear all days except our last day that was quite windy so it churned up the water a bit, but was still very enjoyable. There was no seaweed and no jellyfish and the water was a great temperature. There were a few vendors selling excursions and goods, but they are friendly and don’t bug you. We picked up a few cute trinkets from them to bring home to the granddaughters. The resort grounds are impeccable and just gorgeous! We loved our walks thru the resort daily. We enjoyed the entertainment, especially the fire dancer show and the country singer. We opted to do the free photo shoot and our photographer was Ron and he did a nice job on our sunset photos. You can buy a package or just buy singles for $25 each. The weather was really nice during our week stay. It rained a tiny bit on a few days and had a few days with a bit of wind, but it felt good and did not affect our stay whatsoever. We had several staff members contact us during our stay to check in on how things were going and if there were any issues, so they really want you to have a good experience, so if you experience any issues, you just need to report them and they will take care of it. We did go over to visit the Sandals Grande on 2 occasions and rented a comfy beach cabana for the day ($130). We really enjoy doing this, kind of as our excursion. It comes with a stocked ice chest and a server for the day who can bring you any drinks you want from the bar and they bring you menus to choose your lunch from and deliver lunch to your cabana. Sanjay was our server, and wow he was just amazing! He was so friendly and attentive and made some suggestions on drinks that were so yummy! It shows he really loves his job! The Grande is lovely to go visit and do a beach day, but we still love coming back to our favorite Halcyon resort! We hope to go back again!

I had a fantastic stay at Sandals, and I can confidently say it was one of the best resort experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve started going to these resorts with Beaches, and been crossing off Sandals. I love these resorts! The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff truly went above and beyond to make every moment feel special. At the Sandals Grande, I want to give a special shoutout to Remy and Devyn, the pool bartenders. Their energy, professionalism, and hospitality kept the vibe fun and relaxed—every drink came with a smile and great conversation. At the Halcyon, the staff continued to impress. Ronel and Ronald at the front made check-in and every interaction seamless and welcoming. Kayla and Ryan at the pool bar were an absolute joy; friendly, quick, and always remembered our favorite drinks. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was one of our favorites thanks to Celina, who gave us amazing service and made sure everything was perfect. Veronica, the cook at Bayside, and Kershema, our Bayside waitress, made every meal feel like it was prepared and served with care. The food was delicious, but it was their warmth and attention to detail that made it even better. We also had great conversation every morning. This trip was unforgettable, and the staff truly made the difference. If you're considering a Sandals stay, I highly recommend it; especially if you have the chance to interact with this amazing team. They deserve to be recognized and compensated well for the joy they bring to every guest’s experience. Thank you, Sandals, for an incredible time. I’ll definitely be back!

We recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Sandals Halcyon Beach, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the serene beauty of the resort. The lush, tropical landscaping and peaceful beachfront setting created the perfect romantic escape. Our room was immaculate—beautifully decorated, quiet, and just steps away from the ocean. It offered the ideal mix of comfort and luxury, and we appreciated all the small touches that made it feel so special. The resort itself was the perfect size—intimate but never lacking in things to do. The pools were pristine, the grounds were meticulously kept, and the ambiance was calm and relaxing. The dining options were outstanding; each restaurant offered something unique, and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations. Whether we were enjoying a casual lunch or a romantic dinner, every meal was full of flavor and beautifully presented. We also want to give a very special thank-you to our butler, Crystal C, who went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration truly exceptional. Her attention to detail was unmatched—she anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. From thoughtful surprises in our room to personalized touches throughout our stay, she made every moment feel magical. Crystal’s dedication and enthusiasm were evident in everything she did. She took the time to get to know us and made perfect food and drink recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Her warm personality and genuine care turned our trip into something deeply personal and memorable. We can’t thank her enough. If you're looking for a romantic, stress-free getaway to celebrate a special occasion, Sandals Halcyon Beach is a dream—and having someone like Crystal C as your butler makes it all the more extraordinary. This Resort receives a 10 out of 10 from our experiences.

This place is absolute paradise! This was our first time at a Sandals and first time in Saint Lucia. Everything was perfect. I love the small feel of the resort, it’s not crowded, and we felt along wherever we were. It is well organized with all the shuttles, excursions, and reservations. Everything was close to the room. The staff was awesome and so friendly. My sports loving husband enjoyed hanging out at the “sports bar at night and watching the entertainment. The bar staff was so fun. Housekeeping was so good, they came daily to restock the fridge and clean. Our room was perfect, it was the club level beachfront honeymoon walkout room (WBT). It was quiet, cool, dark at night, right on the beach, and newly renovated. Food was pretty good, we liked Kelly’s and Mario’s but our favorite was Kimonos. Our chef was amazing! We loved the two cats we saw at the resort. They stay away, and to themselves, but love the pets when you approach them. Only thing bad I have to say about the entire trip is that the mattress was so hard and uncomfortable, and the sheets feel like thin sandpaper. But I could fall asleep anywhere in that room, listening to the ocean waves. All around it was the perfect resort, and best vacation. Saint Lucia is beautiful!

My husband and I went here on a vacation for the first time, and to celebrate my birthday. Amazing place. Huge shout out to Malana ( guest interaction agent) we happen to walk pass her on her first day on the job!!! She was amazing! She made our stay so much more special. My birthday was on 6/11 she went out of her way to make that day special, w the cooperation of my husband. She is the best asset added to this resort. She is an awesome singer! She sang happy birthday to me while she was there to perform that evening. Malana you are the best. May Sandals La Toc Resort keep her around for a long time! I see her moving on up in her department in the near future. A shout out to Dan from the loyalty program department! He was so good we joined the program and paid for 2 vacations!

Perfect getaway.

Beautifully well maintained resort. Plenty of staff to assist in any way and the restaurants and bars are very good. Be prepared to walk a bit as the resort is spread out - however there are bikes available for use.

My husband and I celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary at this property. We eat at 7 out of 8 restaurants, the food was excellent at every restaurant. There are so many varieties of food to accommodate everyone's liking. The rooms are well stocked with wine, sodas, beer and water. Very comfortable bed and blush sheets and comforter. The pillows were very soft not to my liking. Love the bathroom shower. The property was beautifully landscaped with colorful flowers; the two pools was just beautiful. There was plenty of quiet area to relax and that's what we did. This property is suitable for the mature adults, no babies. The entertainment was very good each night. I was very surprise the island only gets 22 inches rainfall annually, so the outside of the resort is very dry. If you are looking for a wonderful time relaxing, eating and drinking this is the place to be. The staff are all courteous, friendly and very accommodating.

Very disappointed with a lot here. Booked it for water sports. Dive was not good. Dive master clearly didn't want to be there was short and nothing special. Snorkeling was not much to look at and the water was so rough. Most of the bar staff was amazing. They were the highlight of the trip. Entertainment with Elvis was good he did a great job. Jojo at the loyalty center was amazing and goes out of her way to provide excellent customer service. All other service sucked. Slow service water cups not filled multiple times when they clearly seen we had nothing to drink one time the server seemed so upset she had to fill the water she continued to pour as she walked away and poured it on the table. The tile at the pool is super slippery, while we didnt fall we did witness an older gentleman fall as well as a younger lady coming down the stairs and the same tile in the bathrooms. Should have some kind of coating to prevent that. Was very windy and was yelled at for someone opening the umbrella for the sunbeds directly infront of the pool. They arent secured correctly where they don't stay put and can knock someone out. So May/June is not a good time of year as ita cloudy and windy 90% of the time. Was going to give a 3 star just couldn't with the service we got at the restaurants and mostly the dive shop. The bartenders, Elvis, and Jojo kept it from getting 1 star.

Week had a lovely week at this resort . There are some things that are not similar to other sandals resorts for those of you that are frequent visitors and are expecting the same . No teppanyaki restaurant and no pub if that’s on your list of requirements.the beach part is also a very different set up from most other resorts .there was a quiet pool and the infinity but more noise was an amazing set up. .there was an element of up early with your towels to pick your spot at this resort otherwise unlikely to be anywhere left . No issues with food or booking restaurants .its fairly isolated away from anywhere so a taxi to city is about 45$ each way and it can take a while to come to the resort . I did feel a lack of 5 star service at this resort ..no bath robes in room had to ask for them ..no English breakfast tea ..had to ask ..only had decaffeinated coffee in room despite asking - the room itself wasn’t anything special. Although we were celebrating a wedding anniversary..this was completely missed despite being on our booking . There is quite alot of wildlife at this resort mainly iguanas some fairly big and they can be around certain pool areas if you don’t like that sort of thing Certain bars appeared understaffed at points especially during show entertainment times . We loved our week but would unlikely return but that’s mainly due to fact that no direct flight from uk and having to change in Amsterdam rather than anything to do with the resort itself

Tucked into a protected preserve on 44 acres of oceanfront within the Santa Barbara Estate, Sandals Royal Curaçao offers a unique twist on Caribbean luxury. With its Dutch-influenced architecture, modern design, and sweeping coastal views, this is the first Sandals resort in the Southern Caribbean—and it delivers a more authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience than many island hotspots.

Guests enjoy 8 world-class restaurants, 3 gourmet food trucks, and Curaçao’s first two-level infinity pool, all surrounded by a rugged, naturally beautiful landscape. Plus, the resort’s proximity to Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers colorful colonial charm and cultural excursions.

Culinary & Amenities Highlights:

  • 8 restaurants and 3 food trucks offering international flavors, including Latin fusion and Dutch cuisine
  • 2 bars, including a swim-up bar and a beachfront craft cocktail lounge
  • Access to off-site dining with a $250 dine-out credit for Butler Suite guests
  • Unique amenities like MINI Cooper convertibles included with certain room categories

Why We Love It:

  • Boat trips to Klein Curaçao, a tiny uninhabited island with some of the best snorkeling in the Caribbean
  • Scuba diving, sunset catamaran cruises, and curated local excursions
  • Largest reception space of any Sandals resort—perfect for weddings and large gatherings
  • The tranquil setting offers a slower pace for couples who want to explore more and relax deeply

Key Considerations:

  • 25-minute transfer from Curaçao International Airport (CUR); scenic and stress-free
  • Popular excursions (Klein Curaçao, Willemstad tours, sunset cruises) book quickly—reserve in advance
  • Best for couples looking for rich culture, privacy, and an upscale, low-tourism experience

Pro Tip: Book a Kurason Island Poolside Butler Bungalow for swim-up access, a soaking tub for two, and a MINI Cooper to explore the island at your leisure.

OK so first thing to say is that we are not normally " all inclusive " type of travellers . We don't drink much and are not hugely adventurous eaters either, so not the normal Sandals type customers really . So while it was lovely and enjoyable...it's probably more suited to those people who love this kind of holiday. I am being very honest with this review in the hope it's useful to other travellers. Firstly what we loved about the place . It's beautiful, there is no denying Jamaica looks stunning and the resort is fantastically presented and maintained. The staff were always friendly and plentiful. The drinks were fabulous..lots of variety and the cocktails in particular were awesome ( I'd recommend a Bob Marley to anyone...even if it's not listed on the menu ) The highlight of everything for me was the room ...beautiful, comfortable and with a swim up terrace to a lovely warm, quiet pool . The bathtub on the balcony was lovely too , but I think the privacy curtains on our terrace could have been longer and maybe fastened better, we used the tie backs to fashion a way to keep them closed in the wind . The room was always immaculately kept and cleaned by Roseanne and when we ran out of shower gel , she got us more when we asked . The drinks in the room were always replenished, including sparkling wine, everyday . I also loved the beach and in particular the private island . The clothing optional beach was the quietest and most beautiful. We also went out snuba diving and this was also brilliant and our guide ( I believe think his name was Mikos? ) was lovely and helpful....this did however come with an additional charge of $125 pp. This leads me on to what we weren't keen on during the stay ....the extra costs . There was a seemingly never ending array of people asking us for extras ...from the souvenir sellers who also offer you drugs to the offer of expensive wines , even more expensive spa treatments or payable photographs too . My understanding was there was to be no tipping at Sandals, so we didn't bring any cash , yet the baggage guy at the airport , the driver , the boat captain all asked for tips and we felt bad because we didn't have anything to give . I know American culture is more geared towards tipping than us Brits so others were more prepared for this , and we would have been if we'd known this was going to be asked . Overall, the place is geared to an American audience and the staff seemed much more friendly towards the Americans than us , not saying they weren't friendly , but the Americans certainly seemed to get much more banter and better service than we did . We had some brilliant service at times...Fabian in the pub was consistently lovely , Ruschel at the pool bar was brilliant and the lady in the Indian restaurant was also superb , unfortunately we didn't catch her name , overall the service was very good and the addition of being given a hospitality room after we checked out so we could freshen up and change before our flight was a brilliant bonus ......however we did have a few issues . The main one was with our credit card . It was declined several times when trying to add it to our room . Club Sandals didn't seem particularly bothered and suggested we try and ring our bank . We did that ( at expensive additional phone costs ) to be told it was all fine , we just need to use chip and pin and not swipe . We told this to reception who told us the chip and pin machines don't work and we'd just have to pay as we go ( how we'd do this I never know ) ...not very helpful at all . And Club Sandals again let us down when I asked if the tv in our room could connect to the smart services like YouTube and Netflix as they didn't seem to work ....we were told " no they won't work " , no reason for this ...and later on when I tried fiddling with it myself , I managed to connect them perfectly...it was as if they just couldn't be bothered to help us . Same with our luggage when we checked in . We were told it would be put in our room when we arrived ....after half an hour waiting for a change of clothes , I just went and grabbed it from reception myself - as I offered to do at the start. I think I should mention the food as well ....it was good . Just good , nothing exceptional apart from the local Jamaican food . The jerk chicken shack and in particular the patties were stunning. The day to day food was OK, breakfast was plentiful but nothing special, only cooked to order omelettes were very good, the rest was just average and the fact that we had to hunt daily for cutlery was really poor . I mean , why not just have a plie put out for people to take? You shouldn't have to go and find someone every morning and be directed to another part of the resort to ASK for silverware. One morning I didnt even get a spoon ... have you ever tried eating cornflakes with a fork ? The 2 restaurants that stood out were the Indian ( different from British Indian food ) but excellent quality and service. And the French restaurant food was also excellent. The Italian, British, pizza and grill snacks were all a decent standard but not excellent. Overall every dessert we had was disappointing. Ranging from bland to inedible in the case of the apple crumble . I did like the DIY ice cream behind the pool bar though. Lastly , the entertainment was disappointing too .Aside from the activities like jewellery making and wood ornament painting, which my wife really enjoyed and the very windy pool table which was funny trying to play on.....the evening events were pretty stale .....Yes, the singers could sing , but it was very minimal effort and several technical issues with the mics etc didn't help ...and just a tip...if you're going to do a " Broadway night " ...put some actual Broadway numbers in there. There was not one tune recognisable as a song from a musical. All in all....this was a lovely holiday . Wonderful setting , beautiful sea, pools and cocktails. Friendly staff ( mostly ) and if you're big into all inclusive resorts , you'll probably be hard pushed to beat it . But for me , it was a little wasted and a few minor problems took the shine off a little . Hope this honest review is of use to fellow travellers.

We had a nice time. We had some issues while we were there with the AC not working in our room on 2 separate nights (cutting out after midnight) and having to call maintenance. One night they came and another they never showed after the initial call and didn't answer when we called them repeatedly after the no-show. Was resolved in the morning. Restaurants are excellent. The manager did take care of us because of the AC issue. This is an older property.

Relaxing resort. Lacking in entertainment. Beach is small but nice. Room was small and dated and construction going on at our room from 6am to after 10pm was uncalled for and a huge distraction. Lots of little mishaps that is not the norm for sandals . We had hired a private transfer and while waiting we discovered they were not letting him through security even though all credentials were in order and kept trying to put us in a sandals private car at a charge. That was kinda shady. We had heard they had done this to a few other guest and had even made guest walk from the gate back to the resort at after 11pm because they hired an outside car service. I've been to many Sandals and never had this issue.

I deeply regret not reading the reviews before booking. Every negative comment was 100% accurate. My wife and I chose Sandals Montego Bay for our honeymoon, trusting the brand’s reputation. Big mistake. We booked the Beachfront Grande Luxe Club Level Junior Suite with Balcony Tranquility Tub — a name that promised luxury and serenity. What we got was neither. Despite providing proof of our recent wedding, we received none of the honeymoon touches they advertise — no rose petals, no romantic gestures, nothing. Well, except for a chilled $8 bottle of champagne. Only after reaching out to the online services with no response until speaking with a manager. So I guess that’s supposed to make it even? The room? Far from beachfront — our view was of a basketball court, not the ocean. The tranquility tub and the “luxe” feel? Total letdowns. It felt generic at best. Here’s the catch they don’t tell you: Unless you pay for a butler, don’t expect: Shaded seating at the beach or pool (it’s all “claimed” for butler guests) Restaurant access without ridiculous waits only if you have a butler. Only one restaurant has a reservation and you’ll have to make it a week in advance. It’s all about upselling once you’re there. As for the pools, the claim of “17” is incredibly misleading. Only two tiny pools are actually public — the rest are small plunge pools attached to certain rooms and are honestly not impressive at all. And let’s not forget the noise: the resort is right next to the airport. Constant takeoffs shake your room and drown out any attempt at peace. Romantic getaway? Not even close. This place felt more like a tourist trap than a luxury resort. If you’re planning something special — especially a honeymoon — I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The Sandals name doesn’t mean what it used to. For the activities such as the catamaran boating experience have fun being squished with another 10 couples. For the luminescent water experience have fun driving an hour back and forth to wait an hour to swim for five minutes. For the horse ride on the beach. The experience was completely misrepresented — instead of galloping along the beach as shown in the photos, we rode a dirt trail with a brief, five-minute dip in shallow water. No beach, no gallop — just a tourist trap disguised as something special. On top of that, the return shuttle made multiple hotel stops, adding an extra hour to the trip — a detail that could’ve easily been disclosed in advance but wasn’t. And SANDALS don’t you dare come at me with your fake, copy-paste “we’re sorry to hear this” garbage — you don’t care, and you never did. Save the PR spin for someone dumb enough to believe it.

The entertainment team made this trip unbelievable!!! Specifically Akeem and Chris! They were a shining light for us! They connected us with friends and we had so so so much fun together!!!!! We will never forget our time here because of this team!! However, there was one incident that made me upset. Whenever my husband and I were walking back to our room after an awesome entertainment night, we were talking about how amazing the night was and as we were walking back an employee named Akeeliah from the restaurant who wears glasses started mocking me and saying "so amazing, so amazing." I didn't catch it in time to say anything to her but it made me really upset. The restaurant team was about 60/40 on being kind. A lot of them were super nice but some of them were definitely rude. However, we did not let this small experience change our trip! We still had an amazing time and the entertainment definitely made up for it!

The staff are so welcoming and friendly. We love it here. Our room is re stocked every day with fresh ice bucket and snacks of our choice arriving each afternoon. Our butler’s Marvin and Stevan are wonderful. They make our dinner reservations, set up our beach hut each day with an esky of drinks, had a bath ready after we spent the day on a tour so we could relax, bring us lunch from any restaurant at the resort. They gave us a mobile phone to call them anytime for anything. If we didn’t live on the other side of the world we would visit every year

We recently stayed at sandals Ochi, and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I’ve never stayed in an all-inclusive resort other than in Mexico. I have seen commercials for sandals resorts for years and always wanted to stay in one. Last week we stayed five nights at sandals Ochi and I had very high expectations. I found that the resort was beautiful, but not as well groomed as most of the resorts I’ve stayed in. We stayed in the honeymoon garden room, and I was very disappointed when I looked at the patio window, and what I saw was a wall with overgrown plants and PVC pipe running all along the wall. It was not pretty at all so we never utilized the patio while there. The room we stayed in had been recently renovated, so it wasn’t bad, just small. Housekeeping was wonderful. They came every day around the same time and checked on us in the evening to see if we needed anything. One of the things I was very disappointed in, was the cleanliness of the pools. They appeared to be cloudy and not well kept. There was a small pool by our room that was always full of leaves. One day we were sitting by that pool, waiting for housekeeping to clean our room, and there was a young man, a guest, trying to pick all the leaves out of the pool so that him and his wife could swim. There were several hot tubs throughout the resort and they all had hot water, but the jets only worked in one hot tub in the entire resort. It was the hot tub near our room and on the last day there, we decided to get in. My husband, had to use the skimmer and clean all the leaves and debris out of the hot tub in order to use it. I will say that the food was very good. The buffets were decent, but the sit-down restaurants at night were really good. I really enjoyed the French restaurant best. One negative thing concerning food, is that you can’t just walk up and grab something quick to snack on. The pizza by the pool was a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour wait for pizza. If you want food you had to go into a restaurant and order it. I guess on the bright side I didn’t do a lot of snacking, we mainly just ate at meal time. When it came to service, I will give it a mixed review. Some of the staff were very kind, but at least half the staff seemed un enthusiastic about their job. At times, they seemed bothered by my questions or request. Another thing that bothered us was that our son went with us and he booked a category of room near the main pool. When he arrive, they put him in a suite up on the top of the hill. He did not order Butler service, so getting transportation to and from the hop station was a continual challenge. He would call for a ride and would wait for a very long time for someone to come pick him up, and eventually gave up and walked to the hop station. Getting a ride back up to his room was equally challenging. He had to walk up the hill to his room multiple times, it’s not just the distance that was terrible, but the hill was super steep. Any person with any mobility challenges would not be able to make that walk. This is the only sandals resort that I’ve stayed in, and I have nothing to compare it not to except the several all inclusive resorts I’ve stayed in Mexico. My personal experience is that the service and the quality of this resort was inferior to the resorts I have stayed in Mexico and at double the cost. I am happy that I experienced it, but I probably will not spend that kind of money to stay in another sandals resort. I wanted to take the time to fairly review this resort, because I really utilize reviews to plan my vacations.

WE HAVE BEEN 6 times to SANDALS, 5 resorts : BEST RESORT, BEST BEACH, BEST SERVICE SO FAR! If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is it! I am usually all about the view but this time we stayed in the private pool Villa Butler Suite (LV) and LOVED IT! Enjoyed the beautiful Caribbean view (that color!) and beach morning to afternoon, the resort pool is big and beautiful but, to tell the truth, a private pool/hot tub is awesome!! Our villa location in the middle, by everything! Property grounds impressive. Marios is special with indoor dining. Other food offerings excellent especially Soy! Learned more about Sushi! Might master chopsticks yet! Excursions and spa looked great, we just didn't do it. We will return!

We stayed at Sandals Antigua for 14 nights and wish it were longer! The grounds are spectacular, the restaurants and food were excellent, the staff and people of Antigua are so kind and welcoming. We will definitely go back! The beach is second to none and the best beach we have ever visited. There are a variety of pools too, some with music and some very quiet, smaller ones. It was also very easy to find our way around. Thanks so much to Janiel and Sheena at the Caribbean lobby bar, Cathy at the Barefoot restaurant, Karincia and Dawana at the OK Corral, and the amazing chef Sheneil! Also, thanks to Daphne and Claudine at the Drunken Duck pub. And thanks for the great photos, Shadieul!! Last but not least, thanks so much to Andrea at the Spa for the wonderful massages, and to the beach vendor, Daisy, who we chatted with every day!

My husband and I had the best time at Sandals! We stayed in a Rondoval with a private pool! We had the best butlers you could ask for. Ms. Karen, Neil and Kai treated us like family! They were so amazing. I was so scared to go to this island due to the comments on a facebook group, I honestly don’t see what all the complaining is about. The food was great! The butler service was amazing! The vendors did ask if you wanted to look at their items but never pressured us to buy. My husband and I renewed our vows while we were there. I didn’t have to worry about anything. My hair and makeup was done by Michelle at red lane spa, she did an amazing job. The wedding planner and entire team were amazing. I highly recommend Sandals for wedding/vow renewal. Ms. Karen recommended someone for a couple massage, Theresia and her partner were amazing. I highly recommend the Red Lane Spa. Make sure you ask for Theresia. Kendrick and Ted were great during our vow renewal They made both of us feel so comfortable. They took time to find out what kind of photos we wanted. They made sure our photos and video turned out great. If you’re going to Sandals I highly recommend Ms. Karen and her team! Ask for Kendrick and Ted for pictures! I promise you will not be disappointed. If you’re looking for a great massage Theresia will be glad to take care of you. Also, if you want hair and makeup done, Michelle is great! Also, go and experience this island with Sandals!! Do not go by all the complaints online! Check it out for yourself. This was our third Sandals trip. Thank you Ms. Karen, Neil, Kai, Kendrick, Ted, Theresia and Michelle you guys are all amazing!!!

Barbados Review We had a lovely time in Barbados this year. It is our 4th Sandals trip. Our butlers, Archie, Jabari, and Jeremy, were great! They were very friendly, helpful, and professional. We love our Sandals trips and will continue visiting their locations each year. We also highly recommend the butler service. This resort was special in that two resorts were located right next to each other, only being separated by a small sidewalk. This gave us even more options for pools, restaurants, and activities without having to shuttle anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed the convenience it offered. We did mark it as 4/5 stars due to longer wait times and low supplies. One of the restaurants we dined at took over an hour before we received our food. The main pool with a swim up bar often ran out of things (the local beer, tall drinking cups, and certain liquors) within a very short time frame - often after being open for less than an hour. There could also be quite a wait at the pool bar since the majority of the bartenders worked the other side of the bar. It is an inconvenient set up for the bartenders as they had to constantly go up and down a few stairs to take orders and make most drinks. That being said with all of the options available, it was not hard to get a spot by the pool or beach. We never felt overcrowded when enjoying the different pools or the beach.

The BEST hotel I have stayed in the staff are so friendly and helpful they really go above and beyond for you and are so happy and friendly. The service is 10/10. The resort itself is amazing there’s so many restaurants to chose from and cafes/ice cream shops so you will not be stuck for choice! There’s also a list of excursions you can go on which we’ve booked a few of whilst we’re here. I want to clarify the staff are lovely so don’t understand why there’s reviews saying they’re rude as there’s no possibility the only thing I can think of is if you’re incredibly rude to them. The rooms are extremely clean and we have a lovely cleaner who I would like to give a shout out to - Kerryann is an absolute pleasure and she’s always checking in with us to see if we need anything and made us feel really welcome and at home! The only negative for me would be that some restaurants on the Royal side aren’t as good with service for example we visited Chi and ordered our mains then 2 other couples came in and ordered starters and mains and had their food first and had finished theirs whilst we still didnt receive our mains so felt a little forgotten about. The wait carried on so we left and went to the Italian restaurant instead with no issues at all so don’t let that put you off we have also had great service in Soy which I would highly recommend! Personally I think the restaurants are better on sandals side than the Royal but that could be due to staffing and really didn’t impact our stay or opinion of the hotel as we’ve had such a great time. All in all I would definitely recommend sandals to anyone thinking of booking!

My wife and I stayed at Sandals Royal Bahamian for her ninetieth birthday. It was a typical high-standard Sandals resort with friendly and helpful staff. This trip was unusual in that it started off with two accidents involving a motorized wheelchair for my wife, through no fault of the hotel or staff. The accident was serious and involved EMTs and the local hospital. I must commend the hotel's staff and in-house nurses. for their prompt actions. They sent word that if my travel insurance did not cover expenses, Sandal would. Unfortunately, my major travel insurance company was not accepted by the hospital! Sandals arranged for transportation back to the resort upon completion of the hospital's treatment. The Sandals nurses and staff went out of their way to take care of my wife for the rest of the stay! Konique and Taka were two of many helpful staff members. Every effort was made to make the remaining vacation days as comfortable and pleasant as possible. It was a testament to the quality of Sandals's hiring and training of staff and administration. They made us feel safe, comfortable, and secure during our period of stress.

This was our second visit to Sandals Royal Bahamian and I have to say this trip was even better than the last. Arrival- We were picked up quickly at the airport in the Rolls Royce by Marky Mark who gave us interesting info about the Bahamas on the short trip to the resort. He was personable and started off our vacation right. We arrived around 2 pm and to our surprise, our room was ready. Room-We were in the Island Village Villa with Private Plunge Pool. The room was clean, spacious and the pool is absolute paradise. Housekeeping was wonderful and we had plenty of towels, toiletries and got turndown service each night. Butlers-We had Keisha and Nichola who went above and beyond. They always had a snack and a bottle of champagne sent to the room every day at 4. They would check on us without being intrusive, bringing us surprise drinks, or lunch at the pool. For my birthday, Nichola set a trail of rose petals leading to the pool where she had setup a table and chairs IN the pool! We did see our butlers from last year, Dylan and Kimerly and it was so wonderful that they recognized us! Food-We thought the food was actually much better than last year. Our butlers got us all the reservations we wanted. We made late dinner reservations and would grab a "snack" of sushi at Soy or just enjoy the antipasto bar at Tesoro. Bradley our server at Tesoro was great. They changed the menu at Aralia house,(we miss the jerk chicken) but the smashburger and pasta there were very good. The server Natasha at Aralia house was awesome. The food trucks are great although some of the items at Coco Queen are too spicy (and we love spicy food!). Iced coffee every morning from Sweets and Tings food truck was great (and they have these delicious frosted mini croissants!) We hit Queens Pearl Pub for late night wings once and their famous warm brownie another night. Private Island-Private island is a must. We would see long lines for the ferry and worry that there would not be enough chairs but we were always able to find chairs on the island. The island is absolutely heaven and is the reason we keep coming back. I had a massage on the island and it was so peaceful. Order a "sky juice" from Garry at the bar on the Island, you won't regret it! Departure-We were able to depart 2.5 hours prior to our flight and we were through security and customs in less than a half hour. They honor TSA precheck and Global Entry which meant absolutely no lines for us. Keyno drove us to the airport in the Rolls Royce and had us laughing and gave us a big hug when he dropped us off. We booked another trip before we left! Tip-Floats are hard to come by so get a water hammock from Amazon, you will want to float in the crystal clear water for hours!

This was our 6th trip to Sandals, and probably our last. We’ve seen a huge falloff in the experience. They pay no attention to maintenance. It took four days for them to repair the broken lamp in our room. They cut the water off while I was in mid shower and soapy. The stairways and areas near the ice machines are trash dumps. We stopped going to Emerald Bay because of the lack of maintenance. Now the same is true of Royal Bahamian. The no smoking policy was not enforced, so our lungs were assaulted on the beach and other so-called smoke-free areas. The snorkeling took a back seat to shuttling people to the private island. They no longer had a boat for snorkeling, so we had to take people to the island first AND have our snorkeling cut short so they could keep to the shuttle schedule. Last year there was a different boat to take care of snorkelers. (Cost cutting?) They asked me to post our experience on GINA, the on-property message system. It told me we weren’t guests! FYI, we had a butler suite and were returning guests, so one would think they’d be more attentive. The butlers were fine but clearly overworked. The menus have been pared down so the choices are not as good as in the past. It’s beautiful area and the grounds are well-kept. Too bad management doesn’t do as well inside the buildings. Last, in response to my negative survey, they asked me to review publicly. So they do not bother to read our review; so Sandals, you asked for it!

This was our second Sandals trip. We celebrated our anniversary + baby moon. The beach at this resort is amazing. It felt like we were on a lake for the entire trip; the water was like glass. The private island is an awesome addition. Get in line early and go for at least a day. Very quiet and relaxing on the island. There is a “party” pool with a dj and a quiet pool for whichever you prefer. We stayed on the quieter part of the resort and really enjoyed ourselves, but the option to really party is there. We had Butler service which we always do on our Sandals trips. It is worth it to not have to worry about dinner reservations or spots on the beach/pool. Plus they are super friendly and make your trip even better than you could have imagined. Snacks by the pool, desserts in your room, or bringing your favorite drink. They make it happen. Both my wife and I didn’t drink on this trip. Our butler’s went above and beyond for providing mocktails and non alcoholic beers for me. Book the butler suites and request for Doreen + Junior. You will not regret it!

The Sandals Royal Bahamian resort and experience is top notch, hands down. After making several trips in the past decade to other resorts in the caribbean, finding this one and then having such a great experience was a blessing. Special thanks to our Butler Team - Kevinson and Sterling. These gentlemen are knowledgable professionals who know how to ensure their guests have a great time. Words aren't enough to say how great an impact these two fellas had on our overall experience. Another big thanks to the ladies at the spa, specifically Stephanika and Kayden. They made our couples massage a very memorable experience. Needless to say, my wife and I are going back next year to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. I'm already counting down the days.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The heart of the Merry Monkey — Jack is a legend! If you’re lucky enough to find yourself at the Merry Monkey English Pub, do yourself a favor and pull up a stool near wherever Jack is working. From the moment we walked in—sandals on, vacation mode activated—Jack made us feel like longtime regulars. His energy is magnetic, his service is top-tier, and his charm? Unmatched. Not only did he remember our drink order after one round (impressive!), but he also served up spot-on food recommendations, cheeky banter, and the kind of warm hospitality that makes you want to cancel the rest of your plans and stay all night. Whether you’re a local or just passing through in your flip-flops, Jack brings the magic that makes this pub unforgettable. Give that man a raise 🍻

We stayed for 9 days and loved it. Our butlers Tremayne, Tony, and Kadeen were all great. Especially Tremayne and Tony. They were the first butlers we had and made a strong impression, were extremely friendly and helpful, were always fun to talk too and brought the mood up when they were around. I caught a stomach bug, and Tony was extremely helpful getting us some final supplies for the night to help out right after his shift, and Tremayne had us the next morning and did everything he could to help me recover including bringing me liquid iv and offering me a special made wakeup drink. Tremayne also brought us a fresh mango from his yard at home for us to try as my wife loves mango. These two went above and beyond with their butler service and It truly defined our stay. Besides that, every other member of the team was great, people super friendly, beautiful resort, good food.

The staff across the grounds were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was very good at all the eating places, grounds clean, and rooms in generally good condition. Bartenders were outstanding. The concierge office was less than helpful, probably the only "negative" as they failed to be responsive on some requests. Overall, a nice place to stay, relax, and enjoy.

We have just returned from Sandals Royal Barbados. It was a nice break but there are a few notable points. I would say 90% of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome but the rest were just going through the motions. Even though some of the bar service was slow at times the cocktails were amazing and the staff very friendly. I would especially like to mention Hidie, Oisin,Shanika and Sharita from the Landside swim up bar for the excellent service. I was disappointed that most of the prime sunbeds around the pools are reserved every morning by the butlers even the butlers from Sandals Barbados would come to Sandals Royal Barbados to reserve the best beds. With the result that you have very little chance of getting a bed at all at the Sky pool or a prime bed at the other pools. Don’t get me wrong there are alway sunbeds available but not the ones at the edge of a pool. Also the edge of the pool was not very clean and had broken tiles. The staff were informed and came and took photos but nothing was done about it all the time we were there. Which is a shame as the hotel grounds were beautifully kept. Also even if the restaurants are fully booked if you have a butler you can still get a place, it doesn’t matter which hotel you are booked into. The poorest meals we had were at the American Tavern and Bombay both places we had to wait an hour between courses and when our steak came at the tavern it was over seasoned and looked as if it had been cooked from frozen. In Bombay the food tasted lovely but within quarter an out of eating it we had to rush to the toilet. After saying all that we did meet a few people that had been back multiple times.

Best Sandals Resorts FAQs

What should I know before going to a Sandals Resort?

Sandals Resorts are designed exclusively for couples and are adults-only (18+). All resorts are all-inclusive, which means nearly everything—from gourmet dining to premium drinks to water sports—is included. Be sure to bring a mix of casual and resort evening attire, as well as reef-safe sunscreen and water shoes if you plan to snorkel or explore.

How can I get the best deal on a Sandals Resort?

To get the best deal:
Book early—Sandals prices often rise as availability decreases.
Watch for Sandals 777 Deals, which offer an extra 7% off select rooms each week.
Look for promos like up to 65% off, free nights, or $1,000 booking credits.
Use a Sandals Preferred Travel Agency like Honeymoons.com for help finding bonus perks and lower rates.

What is not included at Sandals all-inclusive resorts?

While Sandals covers almost everything, a few things are not included:
Spa treatments at the Red Lane® Spa
Off-property excursions and island tours
Gift shop purchases
Tips for butlers (tipping other staff is not allowed)
Private candlelight dinners
Some high-end wine or liquor options (most are included)

How strict is the dress code at Sandals?

Sandals has a relaxed dress code during the day—swimwear, shorts, and coverups are totally fine. However, resort evening attire is expected at most restaurants for dinner. This typically means:
Collared shirts and dress shorts or pants for men
Dresses, skirts, or elegant separates for women
Closed-toe shoes are recommended for men at some fine dining spots.
